And this song is kick ass. It's a lot better than some of their songs. Like Whiskey in a jar... or that Tuesday's Gone cover...
I'll never understand the unnecessary hate for "St. Anger". The people who have commented saying that it's their least favorite Metallica album clearly haven't seen the "Some Kind of Monster" documentary that explains how and why Metallica made it as well as why it sounds the way it does.
@@joshuablankenship4701 They didn't have to have guitar solos for that album, and I'm glad that the "St. Anger" album didn't. It's still a great album that gets wrongfully hated on for no reason.

For some odd reason Metallica hasn't been able to escape the St.Anger album! Every album that has came after has notes from that album and it sucked ass😂 I gave that cd away to my brother and he threw it in the trash 🤣

This album is boring, weak and bland. I don’t like the production too flat… No real melodies, no good solos, so boring drums (sounds and composition)… I like lars but he really needs to apply variation. The black album is a good exemple. Slow tempo but drums parts are really good. For me the least are 72 seasons, S. Anger, reload and death magnetic.
There is variation on this album. You just aren't hearing it. And there are good solos on this album. Metallica can't be writing fast material for an entire album. The Black Album also had a lot of good variation from Lars on the drums too.
