This song is pure art and an emotional song. It might not be a banger but these men poured their heart and soul into creating this and you can feel it.
And this song definitely has some Ozzy Osbourne era Black Sabbath inspiration in the instrumental portion in the latter half of the song as well as some Iron Maiden influences during the section with James and Kirk on the guitar harmonies.
Alot of people don't know this but , those harmony parts Kirk and James did the exact same thing on the Blake album on my friend misery and they used the same guitars as they did on the black album James used his famous eet fuk guitar
Inamorata grows on you every time you listen. Not a massive Metallica fan here, but I have to say I enjoyed this album a lot. Not a bad song on it, IMO.
A lot of James' lyrics seem to be therapy for him. Personal issues made into something others might relate to. His way of sharing. He's not the only one out there who has dysfunction that both helped cause, and surrounded, his addiction. A lot of addicts help themselves stay clean and sober by helping others out of that maze.
Initially I had no favourite, but I found myself listening to this one several times every day, for weeks. So there you go. The riffs, damn those riffs, the chorus, the interlude, lead melody and harmonies, the outro. It's a masterpiece. And of course the lyrics. One thing about this one, I guess it's more valuable for a seasoned Metallica listener, it shares so many elements with things from the past, from all Metallica 'eras'. It's a special one I would say; like Fixxxer, Bleeding me, and a few others like that. You should check out the video. You will find it interesting with your analysis.
Agreed. This is one of my favorites on the album because of the emotion that James put into the lyrics which Lilly didn't even mention. Everything about this song shows that the guys put their heart and soul into making this song. There's also a lot of Black Sabbath vibes in this song as well with the instrumentation in the middle of the song.
@@TokusatsuGamingfan Definitely. It has that Sabbath-Sleep-Kyuss sort of stoner riffs and feel that I love. And yes, lyrics and feeling are awesome, not only in this one but all the album.

Inamorata is the best on the album, no doubts. It's one of the longest Metallica songs ever released, reminds me of 80s and 90s when they used to make 7 and 8 minutes songs. This one is 11 minutes of pure emotional lyrics, killer guitars and amazing drumming.
This song is my 4th favorite on this album. This song hits me deep with my own mental health struggles with chronic depression and PTSD. The change of direction the lyrics take at then makes me believe that I can and will conquer my demons.
It’s (Ina Morata) Italian for a love or crush. Room of Mirrors and Inamorata tells a story of James Hetfield. While he won’t say exactly he did say the song poured out of him one night. This song always gives me chills; the main riff, the lyrics, the melodies, the breakdown…it’s just sublime. Ok, the fat could be trimmed in a couple of places but this feels like the most organic band performance on the album 🤘 Never mind 72 Seasons, this is is one of the best songs in their entire canon. Inamorata is the best cause she is combination songs like "My friend of misery" "the outlaw thorn" and "fixxer". The best harmonic songs in 1 song and very nostalgic time.
This one is definitely my favourite on the album. It just builds up to that amazing double guitar melody, followed by one of Kirk Hammett's best guitar solos in the past 25 years. It reminds me of songs like Bleeding Me and Outlaw Torn off of the Load album. Song also reminds me of Black Sabbath's Sabbath Bloody Sabbath album

This isn't the final reaction for "72 Seasons" Lilly. You still have "Crown of Barbed Wire" which you unintentionally skipped over. You also need to stop jumping the gun so much with how you feel about a song. I'm also going to have to very strongly disagree with you on this song. This song definitely harkens back to the "Load" and "Reload" era where "Fixxxer" and "The Outlaw Torn" are the underrated standouts on those albums because of the composition as well as the instrumentation, and most of all, James Hetfield's lyrics as well as the emotion that he puts into the vocal delivery is what makes those songs so memorable. I don't know what it is, but James has this thing for making you feel something with his lyrics. "One", "Dyers Eve", "The Unforgiven", "Nothing Else Matters", as well as the aformentioned "Fixxxer" and "The Outlaw Torn" are all perfect examples. This song in particular, really does showcase Metallica's musical prowess here with the composition, the instrumentation, James and Kirk's guitar harmonies, and especially the emotion that James puts into the vocal delivery on this song.

SRY, BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL FOR A MIN....
Liked young thrashy speed attack stuff best like melodic also but the machine gun attack speed liked best
Oh noodles, and I already made my first black album reaction. That will be up this week! Also maybe I should listen to this song a few more time and maybe I will appreciate it more. I just really love the song chasing light on this album.
@@lillyjanereacts You already reacted to three songs from The Black Album previously back when you were just reacting to individual songs. "Enter Sandman", "The Unforgiven", and "Nothing Else Matters", so you have 9 songs left on that album.
@@lillyjanereacts I really enjoy all of the singles that they released for this album, "72 Seasons", "Screaming Suicide" which shines light on and brings awareness to clinical depression, and mental health, "Lux Æterna", and "If Darkness Had a Son".
A lot of the songs on this album are absolute bangers and are really great songs. "Crown of Barbed Wire" is my only least favorite song on this new Metallica album for some reason.
Would you do any reaction video for a TOOL song with Caroline Polachek on vocals? If so how does that work?
Reaja ao álbum Rebirth - Angra. Garanto que não vai se arrepender.
Done death magnetic or hard wired albums???
You have to take your time and digest this kind of music. I mean Jesus Christ it’s not a katy perry song
You think that she's not aware of that? What is it with people like yourself coming out of the woodwork and these kinds of comments huh? I swear!
Now you can finish reacting to The Black Album
Nope, she still has to react to "Crown of Barbed Wire" which she unintentionally skipped.
Well my favourite song from the album is screaming suicide.
