This is classic Metallica!!! The best song they've written in years. Strong influences of Sabbath, Thin Lizzy with a hint of T-Rex. James and Kirk are on fire with this song. I mean James emotion in this song is outstanding! From a proper UK Metal fan!
This is a classic I think, up there with their best. They are better then ever. James is for sure letting loose on this, like room of mirrors. I lovre how Rob is establishing his song and style. F' ...a great album really.
My top 3 used to be The Outlaw Torn, Bleeding Me, and Fixxxer. I used to call it the Metallica holy trinity, but after hearing Inamorata I think we have a godly quadruple again. I adore this song, by far my favorite off 72 Seasons
Literally no bad songs on this record, each one has something to say. Like you guys said, this is a very mature album, I'd say the most mature album so far. For me it's a 8/10 for sure. Inamorata my fav song, I got goosebumps with that middle section and the harmonies...
I love that this album is soo reflective, it gives an "old man reflecting on life" vibe and it's awesome. Even better is the fact that James is delivering his best vocal performances of his entire career on this album, I personally rate 72 Seasons a 9.5 out of 10! Best Metallica album in decades!! 🤘🤘🤙🤙
Inamorata stood out to me from first listen. It is AUTHENTIC. Great emotion from James. Best overall song on the album, great composition. This song will live on years from now on classic radio. Best song they could have ended the album with. Dark, deep, and tastefully done part-wise, very balanced. If this is the last album they ever make, this was a great song choice to end it with. It's been a hell of a 40+ year ride Metallica, I was alive for it, and those early albums helped me when I was young to find inspiration to play an instrument and find a connection through music. Long live Metallica.
i felt the same way - the first time i heard it, it felt like a farewell song. it said so much, took me on a ride, and had me feel almost every emotion possible. almost like a gift to the fans. this better not be the last one says the selfish me :) Thank you Metallica!
Take the best 6 songs off Hardwired and the top 6 off 72 Seasons and you have a masterpiece. A lot of these new songs are growers. I enjoyed all of your reviews. Could be the last album from these guys. They have given everyone some great music over the years. There isn't a band on the planet that gets criticized/judged as much as they do. I am happy they are still making music. So much fun to listen to.

What an absolute pleasure it was to accompany you all on this journey. You guys know what you're talking about and quite clearly aren't afraid to show your passion for this band. I really don't get how anyone can say anything negative about them. In the heavier music world they are a shining light.
As someone who danced with the edge of a blade over my veins this Sabbath-y song hits hard. Who hasn't been, at any moment, in love with their own misery? And yet, papa Het's voice reminds us all that there are things to live for. He has gone further than a mere metal singer to become a beacon of light in music. Love that.
The messages and lyrics on this album are so hopeful, vulnerable and deep. Some of if not his best work. This song got a visceral emotional reaction from me. Glad to have you still here man and to anyone out there.
Recipe for Inmorata: Dash of 'My Friend of Misery', Dash of 'Fixxer', Dallop of 'Outlaw Torn', Pour in lots of dual melodic guitaring from the early albums and you have possible the most complete track Metallica has put out since the self titled black album. Mind was blown hearing this the first time, and now it's a new entry on my bucket list to see them live one more time and hope they play this live.
i love how everybody who listens to a new metallica song, looks like that. paying close attention, excited and confused at the same time, forming some opinion, changing opinions, and at the end, completely blown away (in whichever way you may lean) this album gave me more than i have ever wished for , and i didnt even know i wanted it. sip it like a 30 yr old whiskey - its so good
This song really hits me in the feels and has brought me to tears, not just the lyrics, but the music itself is emotionally powerful! An incredible ending to a fabulous album, and I could not be happier. The more you listen to it, the more the songs grow on you too. This is an insane ending, I did not expect 11 minutes of EPICNESS so with that I say THANK YOU to Metallica, from a die hard fan, you could not have done better 🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻🔥
This is the one for me. I generally want to live with an album before I form real opinions but once in a while you hear a song that connects from listen one and Inamorata is that for me. Thoroughly enjoyed watching all your reactions since Lux. It's obvious glasses dude (sorry I don't know your names) and bald dude are long time 'tallica fans and middle goatee dude plays the skeptic role :) but none of you fall trap to fanboyism or everythingmetallicadoessucks-ism. As a 27 year die hard fan it's just cool to experience this stuff with you guys and celebrate the fact that these guys are still giving us new music. Will continue to support the channel \m/\m/
Great Reactions Guys! For me Outlaw torn, Fixxer, My friend of Misery and also Orion and Justice Harmonies and Solos. all in all a great Album for this time
I'm Load fan that thinks FASTER is not always better. THis song slays. I am not a dyers eve or Spit fan, this and Bleeding Me are right in my wheelhouse.
72 Seasons is much better than I expected, I love this album! James's vocals are definitely a huge highlight for this album imo, he does something cool on each song on the album and there's lots of cool riffs. This album tops Death Magnetic/Beyond Magnetic and Hardwired for me, and that's saying a lot because I freaking love those albums. I'm honestly blown away, this album exceeded my expectations based on the singles! Long live Metallica! #MUYA

This is their most complete album since The Black Album. All the songs seem to fit together. It's very heavy both musically and lyrically. I really dig it.
Metallica did an amazing job on this album I have been a fan since ride the lightning and they have showed us so much of themselves in this album! 🤘🤘 Hope I can move my neck tomorrow..
Nice reaction guys. I think this song could become a classic Metallica masterpiece. It took me a while to really appreciate how good it was. This song has grabbed me quicker 🔥🤘🔥🤘
This song is so cold and depressive, just to listen it in a rainy day with a coffee, it reminds me My Friend of Misery and the last solo and drums riythm sound like the end of Fade to Black, epic song to me
12:28 completely agree. This song 's definitely more mature, composed better. That's why you don't feel 11 min passing. Can't say the same about Spit out the bone, though I dig the energy of it. Inamorata definitely has some Re/Load vibes to it, which I don't mind at all. Some of the best Metallica songs were produced that time, no matter what metal purists say.
Alot of load/reload with some corrosion of conformity mixed in . Best song/album in decades. Seems to be a sequel to my friend of misery. Complete 90s feel. But this song absolutely represents the maturation of metallica. James's voice sounds renewed.
I'm probably in the minority here but this sounds almost as though he's referring to alcohol. Love the Tool type reference, very progressive and well structured for Metallica. Inamorata S&MIII is going to be incredible

They all have a distinct vibe to them. I feel like Outlaw Torn, Fixxxer, and Inamorata are a godly trio of final tracks that share a similar style.

Its good, but lyrics are really repetitive.
it’s okay for a rock song. cause that’s all they are now. a rock band.
there not the same anymore. I prefer heavier Metallica.
