Good point. Almost as if they consciously decided to showcase different eras/styles from their past albums, all on one. For example, my favorite Lux Aeterna sounds like it could've been on Kill 'em All, one of my top 2 favorite albums.

There's definitely no bad songs on this album and seeing you react to all of them alongside Kill Em' All will be interesting to see. Also going forward there are official lyric videos for all the 72 Seasons songs if you prefer them.
Imo the last three tracks on the album are the most memorable. Room of Mirrors and Too Far Gone are tracks that will go into my long term Metallica playlist. Still haven't come around to some of the other tracks but it is what it is! Thanks for the reaction.

The solo is crazy great. At first I though Kirk was going on an acid trip & losing his focus on several then I woke up from my slumber. I am on the cusp to claim it is better than the Black album.

inamorata hands down is the best song on the album. its epic, its intense, its mellow, its frantic, its just such an emotional rollercoaster of a song and even though its 11 minutes you never feel that runtime it just sprints past you leaving you sitting there with adrenaline coursing through your veins
It's honestly hard to choose because the 72 Seasons as a whole is a 🔥 album but If I had to choose one right this minute I'd probably have to go with Room of Mirrors. It's so catchy and hard not to sing along to.

I love every song on this album and my favorite song on it has changed multiple times since the album has come out. Shadows Follow, Room of Mirrors, Too Far Gone, Inamorata, are my absolute favorites on this album but as I said before and make no mistake about every song on this album is good. To me this album is a masterpiece and in my top 4 Metallica albums.

"Crown of Barbed Wire" has been my favourite from the album since I first listened to the whole thing, BUT the music video is a bit distracting, so I don't think it's the best idea to react to each of the music videos (probably the lyric videos instead?) for the new album, at least for the first listens. 👍🏻
The music video for that song is my least favorite unfortunately. Something about how the music video was made that doesn't sit right with me for some reason.

Nice reaction! In the future, I definitely recommend listening to the rest of the Rust in Peace album by Megadeth, ik you've listened to Holy Wars, Hangar 18, and Tornado of Souls. Imo it's the greatest metal album of all time.
Right now, I'd say the best song is probably Inamorata, but I also really like 72 Seasons and Sleepwalk My Life Away. But really, there are no duds on this album. 🤟
New album is great, amazing lyrics and powerful messages, but with fun and catchy songs. Best one? Hard to pick, but maybe Room of Mirrors, and Inamorata stand out for me, but again, I think all are great and maybe just one or two are weaker the the rest.
I have always liked Metallica's slower songs more, songs like"The Thing That Should Not Be and"Sad But True"as examples "If Darkness Had a Son" is awesome, perfect slow song. That being said this song "Shadows Follow" is so powerful because it talks about the shadows that we have to deal with in this life. Different shadows for everyone, but shadows nevertheless. I don't feel alone anymore after listening to this powerful song.
I think this is one of the better songs on the album. The only part I don't like is the harmonized vocals during the chorus. Otherwise it's a good song.
