Disagree about Kirk Hammett's solos on this album, but agree on everything else. Hetfield is in fine form, and I think Lars is really putting a little more effort in these days. Kirk, to me, is regurgitating the same solo in every song... just some are shorter and some are longer.
Hetfield is peak here. Best he's ever been aside from black album. Rob killed it. Lars isn't as technical here but he's playing hard. And kirk did really good on most of the songs.
