You can definitely do it on Normal difficulty. My second playthrough I just took Joker and Queen on Act Freely to the final fight. It's long, but doable.

i'm ashamed to admit i beat yaldabaoth using rush mode because i didn't take making the best personas seriously the first time so i cheesed my way through it. it took me over an hour and about 50 deaths on safe mode.
Try to beat a boss like this or the twins with just physical ointment and magical ointment (idk the names but the stuff that repels physical and magical attacks)
Wouldn't work on Yaldabaoth because the reflect effects don't work on almighty attacks, if I'm remembering right. And, if I'm remembering right, Yaldabaoth's main body's attacks are exclusively almighty, so reflect would never wear him down. The twins, though...that might work.
That was awesome man, just goes to show you how much the game can be pushed before it's like "Alright, your too op, just two turns this guy at least". I am super satisfied at the end there

I can verify validity in 1 shotting him. Especially when he's charging his biggest attack, i destroyed all of them with 1 Myraid Truth and finished that part of the fight in 1 turn. However he isnt supposed to die except to the Sinful Shell

I just finished this game, one of the best experiences of my life. Cannot wait for the 6th instalment, I dont wish to succumb to my feelings and buy Persona 5 royal
It took me a while but I basically put this boss into a position to where it was a battle that he was going to lose no matter what I don’t remember exactly the entire set up though. I did the same thing to Aketchi. It was basically what I call an boss auto lock. It’s basically where you win in the middle of the battle and the game just keeps going until the boss is dead
In fact I tested this with mods as well and gave basically everyone except Futaba the Rays of Control skill and 99 their stats. This boss in particular will always execute his final phase regardless of how many damage you give to him. He's basically 1hp after you did all your beefy skills so yes that's 15000 HP dealt to him but he still has 1hp after you interrupted his Rays of Control which was supposed to happen after your team's 2nd turn Yaldabaoth does Divine Apex and waits for 2 turns then he does Rays of Control on his turn.
We just bulling Yaldaboth at this point though it us interesting to see that his final phase is mandatory and that with all this bulling to him where all just finding this out and I see you about to hit 10k you are really raising in subscribers
