Persona 2 just tells me that that was when Personas were most like Stands. They could be in the real world and were summoned straight from their bodies with no gimmicks like guns, cards, or masks.

To be fair, it was not in usual circumstances. In Persona 1, we had DEVA system and the SPOILER. In Persona 2, they summoned a persona in a city where rumours are coming true.

As someone who's seen all of JoJo but never touched Persona, I finally understand what those "non-JoJo fan reacts to all JoJo openings" reaction RUclipsrs must've felt like.

I’ll say this, if your intrested, I’d say start with persona 5, it’s an amazing entry point and the story of the previous games has little to no effect on the story of persona 5, the only things consistent from my experience as someone who started with 5, just beat 4 and is starting 3, the only things in every game are general themes, always banger tunes, reoccurring Demons/personas, and Igor/the velvet room, none of that is spoilers btw, that’s stuff you experience in the first hour or 2 of any of the games
Best of luck to you if you do spend any time with this series, I fell in love with it almost a year ago now, just take your time with it, and be prepared to be in it for the long haul

Vanilla P4 with Chase and Strikers/Scramble with Fighting Gold goes hard and blends together surprisingly well.
Now Persona truly is Jojo's BizzaRPG.
I thought it was a bad decision to not make crazy town with persona 4, but chase is actually lot more compatible with it
Yeah. The lyrics of song is more compatible than Crazy Town, means the protagonist and his friends chasing the killer responsible for he killed people, just like Jojo Part 4.
This was kinda nostalgic, I haven’t watched jojo in 3-4 years let alone the ops, and to have that old intrest combined with Amy similar current intrest is amazing tbh, sent chills down my spine

These all went pretty hard, but DAMN did the P2:IS one go the hardest. All the music cues lined up pretty much perfectly with the MV, and if you told me this was the original opening a few years back I'd believe you.
P4 was already my favourite game. giving it chase and the editing was absolutely perfect

Out all the jojo parts and out of all the persona games, jojo part 4 and p4 have the most similarities. A group of teenagers with supernatural abilities try and find a serial killer who is seemingly normal and also only kills women.
