i think the reason for the door closing so hard is because if this is a ship and there is a hull breach you need the doors to quickly lock down to prevent entire sections to lose integrity
Actually on second thought. If the door had sensors on the integrity of the room it’s connected to then it could shut really fast prior to an air leak. Meaning that it would actually close fast enough and securely enough save the inside of the elevator.
@SippinTexasMud Considering they have sections in the games where shit literally explodes blasting out windows and that then proceeded to be closed by emergency blast shutters I think Schofield and the others Devs probably thought about that stuff when designing a working sci-fi planet cracker brother 😂
The rigs arent the suits, the rig is the interface and status bars on the backs and they are standard CEC uniform. Isaac is wearing an engineering rig which is meant to protect him when moving around heavy machinery
When I was a little kid my dad would always play this game, he played all three. This game scared me a lot when I was small, but now I feel very nostalgic about it. So you making a video of this is even more cool! :)
Press the hold door button or shove an easily crushed or detachable bodypart between the elevator door? 🤔 Necromorph: Hang on Isaac, I've got this! *proceeds to wedge entire body right between the doors...*
Necromorphs are terrifying to simply think about: - Any dead tissue is basically a necromorph waiting to rise up, and they rises up in hellish forms. The mere psychological factor of witnessing one are enough to make most humans go insane. Even trained combatants cowers before such horrifying enemies. - Conventional weapons are useless. Dismemberment is the only way to put one down, the act itself is gruesome for even veteran soldiers. And even if downed the leftover biomass can still be used to raise fresh Necromorphs later. Basically unkillable unless you find a way to completele disintegrate the biomass. - They have multiple forms, adapted for different roles. Are extremely durable and can even survive in hardzardous environments that humans can't. Making nowhere is safe, no defenses they cannot overcome. - The Marker signal can drive any survivors into madness, forcing them to kill themselves or others. Safe places collapse from within, then the Necromorphs spawns from the dead and finish off anyones left. All that factors in makes Necromorphs the most horrifying and unstoppable fictional infections ever conceived. Yea, not one of us will survive this grim shit, man.
According to lore the meat bits can still be used as biomass but in game when a body is stomped it cant be turned by an infector. Also depending on how stomped the body is will change what it turns into if not fully dismembered
Was discussing this with a friend a week ago, the effects of the marker on board would be the first obstacle, would need to block it's mind altering effects. Would need to be destroyed quickly and unless completely atomised, even small chunks emit the same effects. Food + Water would be the next obstacle since that will be in short supply, would probably run out of ammo quick to. Best hope would be to escape the ship on an escape pod asap. Realistically though the average person would probably last an hour or two 👀
Uhh during one the deadspace games I think it was the rail shooter that shows what happens before Issac gets there Nicole was close to coming up with a vaccine or something against it and uhh some people can naturally be immune to its effects as well.
I've never been this early to a how to beat.. Take that someone else who already beat me to this on some other how to beat video. It's my time to shine!! Also I can't be the only one who loves the signature background music.
8:07 the elevator door having enough force to crush a body might be to prevent the vacuum of space from sucking out any oxygen from the elevator incase a breach on a particular floor was made.
Bro low key you gotta do the other two now. I’ve seen your videos here and there but just today I somehow found you again and now I’m subscribed and liking every video.
Thanks for covering this awesome game As for the stuff that seems strange; Majority of the weapons are tools and the crates are tool boxes that have batteries for said tools in them, sort of like scavenging a factory and finding cordless drill batteries The babies are the weird part, they grew clones in tubes to use as spare parts essentially
Bro this is great, I'm really excited that you're covering games now! There's so many hilarious ridiculous things to address with gameplay, and I love the careful attention you're putting in here. Great content :) This is the one that's getting me to click the sub button, really should have done it earlier :D
20:32 I know this is super late, but the reason for the "Babies" is from the ship's medical department for "Emergency Spare Organs". Where they had a dozen spare flash clones of each crew member incase of accidental on the job major injuries (Dismemberment/Organ Impalement). You know, typical gothic Sci-fi medical stuff.
7:40 When you say the Ishimura can hold hundreds of crew, the actual number is 1322 crewmembers. This may be cute useless trivia under normal "check out my big spaceboat" situations, but when each one is potentially a monster, a good headcount is important to know what you're up against. Potentially 1322 spikey space zombies. I hope the RIG suit has a counter feature to track your kills. I mean it's early yet, so Isaac doesn't know these things can make monsters out of literally any biomass they come across, just that we've got zombies. Work with what you got, right?
Day 25 of asking you to cover Meet the Killer Parents If you were invited to your boyfriend's parents' house who seems normal but are hiding a dark secret behind your back, what would you do
23:53 Oh, when you said "Escape Velocity", I think you may have meant "Event Horizon". Which this game actually took a lot of inspiration from, now that you mention it!
The marker isn't alien, it wad mafe by the sovereign colonies Their was also a colony on the planet for a few years before the game, and the ship was sent to carry out what would most likely have been its last mission before it was decommissioned in the next year. The rig doesn't heal him. He uses med packs, and the lights shows his vitals I'm writing this at the start, some things may be corrected throughout
One thing that Isaac should had absolutely done it (if this wasn't a surivial horror game) was try to rewire all the of the Ishimura's Store Vendors so he could get all the ammo, health, nodes and armor upgrades without paying for it; or at least get Kendra to hack them for a discount or freebies.
6:00 wow your most realistic advisor ever thank you they should learn from you when they should uuuuh, where was it oh yeah they should not used some resource(inspection ship for the planet) when they should not wasted the said resource(the space mine ship battalion) 😅😅😅 for some illegal mine planet thats literally title *illegal* 😅
The most stupidest thing outta this entire game was them sending a still living infected soldier in an escape pod. Its just a recipe disaster. That space shuttle is gonna be found by others and its a death trap waiting to happen
Can you do cube two hypercube? If you’re already working on it I’m sorry.. it’s just that I haven’t seen anybody do it yet. And your video on the first movie was great. I saw you liked my. Comment. but I’m not sure if that means all systems go.
what might of happen with issac being use to all the dead bodies is the fact he might he use to it he is a extremely smart and hard working engineer he most likely seen alot of people die from the work
This has no context to the video: Nicole and Isaac’s age and design never matched in DS1 and DS remake. In the original DS, Nicole was hot, she was in her 20s easy, but then we see Isaac and he’s almost 50. Then we got DS remake where it’s the opposite, Nicole has to be in her 40s and Isaac looks like he’s in his mid 20s
If i was a hardcore dead space fan i would probably make a big rant comment about how necromorphs are not zombies. And calling them "zombies" is insulting.
dude this man is my favourite ytber i started watching from the 6 meter hell video and its still my fav. Dude this man is THE goat Have a DAMN good day
I don't think Daniels is the villain in this remake. I mean, in the original, oh absolutely. In this one her explanation at the end codes her as more of an operator that EarthGov sends to deal with the problem. She does so knowing the entire history, and knowing full-well this will be a suicide mission most likely. She really only kills the other woman to break the illusion and ensure that she can complete the mission of burying/destroying the marker and preventing anyone from finding it again.
Oh, I remember playing this one. I first came out. I miss this game so much. I’m gonna play the remake how to beat please pin this and I love the developers for this game. This game is so good. I remember when I was a kid game I’ve ever played and my opinion the scariest game in the world.
How to survive Dead Space: You don't! Also, I might add, zero-G being accessible across the entire ishimura would not help Isaac (Or anyone) survive as the Necromorphs are intelligent beings and it would make sneaking up a lot easier for them; And no, coping mechanisms arent going to help deal with the markers waves as theyve had teams of doctors and psychologists work to try to counteract the markers effects and still failed miserably. Talking back to them wont help either and may actually worsen the effects, as well as draw necromorphs to your location; The original (Black) marker was larger than the artificial red markers (Like the one in Deadspace 1) and the people who built them were under the influence of the alien (black) marker, and theres no turning off a marker other than to *Possibly* destroy it, but then you'd have to kill every human whose interacted with it or was within a certain range to prevent them from building another (Or more)
