I will always believe and stand by the fact that just the beginning was enough to get that place closed immediately, but instead Miles goes further and gets himself killed, completely making his hours long journey a damn joke since the camera never gets picked up again.
Actually that is incorrect, the dlc whistleblower reveals that both his camera gets picked up by the whistleblower, and miles actually survived. Albeit only because of the wall rider.
Though the comics connecting between outlast 1 and 2 implies although the whistleblower outs the secrets the murkov corporation eventually catches back up to miles.

He didn't even get evidence of a dead body until after the dude in bathroom locked him in while he was venting to the Library
The beginning was more than enough to incriminate Marcoff. But I guess they needed a reason for a full big game, so Miles had to go on anyways. He doesn't die though, he does survive and exposes Marcoff as revealed during the DLC. They should have continued the main story in Outlast 2 instead of going for a completely different stand alone story from the main one.

If they were really msde of steel,he wouldnt hsve had to say farewell to them later in the story

Can’t help but take pity on Walker. While his actions are brutal in the Asylum, he was actually trying to protect everyone else outside of it
I find it quite interesting how much plot armor Miles has. Everyone else was torn up, while he was just tossed around.

Last time I played, I found out you can actually climb right back into the vent easily enough. The problem is someone has locked the doors behind you that you came through.

Funn fact. When you go into that the room WITH the vent right besides the bathroom, before meeting the soldier. One of the patients sneaks out of the bathroom and locks the door out. So it still wouldve ben difficult even if he got back into the vent

Love it! I’ve seen multiple play throughs, but only ever made it 7 minutes playing Outlast myself.
Best i do is getting to the first cell block and then when the twins talking about eating/fucking me i turn the game off

I'm thinking is there any way to survive Outlast 2, for Outlast 1, everything seems to be under control if you are really familiar with the mechanics of the enemies, but I think you will have difficulty when outrunning the Walrider.Outlast 2 is a completely different story, you are completely stuck on an extremely large island and have to flee in a much larger space with limited stamina and lack of direction, the enemies are also smarter and more agile, so what would you do in that case?

As soon as he got vídeo evidence of human deaths, right in the beggining, he should have went back and called the police
Unlike the other three outlast protagonists who didn’t have a choice in the matter so was unarmed and vary unequipped as a result Miles knew and had a choice to bring a weapon if he was so willing to enter inside of the asylum

I thought that HTB makes videos about movies only, but I never knew that he also does videos about horror games
This brings back the memories when I'm in a horror house like this
when miles was shimmying off the window he could have easily dropped down, sure it was the third or forth floor but that survivable and there were bushes to help break his fall.
I don't get this tendency of games leaving protagonists without any means of defending themselves. I'm not asking for a bazooka, but a Colorado concealed carry permit and a Glock with a few clips should not be too hard for Miles to acquire. How did an investigative journalist with this little sense of danger survive in the field this long? I'd understand if he only covered sports events and stuff previously, but the game lets us know that Miles didn't exactly have a relaxed lifestyle!
there are places that do key cutting at store, just go there. especially if you don't know if the key would work. also some vehicles can use only certain keys due to other types not workings.
