Am I the only person who thought stone would be a quick in-the-first-10minutes kill?
Yeah I didnt think he would be the mc, he made all the wrong decisions right at the start lol
Yeah, i thought he would have been that character that gets killed at the start to make us know about the danger
Same, I also didn't expect him to be the mc, but a demo death to introduce us to the threat before the mc comes along
A stupid photographer gets killed in the beginning of the movie. Then one of the 2 happens
1- Someone from his family or his wife comes searching for him in the desert, gets captured and fights for her life.
2- A group of youngsters decides to have a tour in that place, looking for an adventure. Then one by one they get killed until there's only a brave girl (who have had a bad relationship with her boyfriend, one of the first victims or the last one, in his act of redemption), who then fights to die in the lest scene of the movie or just frees herself, living a life of hatred and wishing for revenge.
Am I missing something?

3:12 the kid said he was lost, but then said that his parents were in the opposite direction if he was lost and separated from his parents, she wouldn’t know which direction to look
Stone should have known something was up when a seemingly alone woman invited HIM a strange man with unknown intentions to eat after he barged into her home😞
One of the first things she says is “I’m alone.” Who tf says that right out of the gate to someone who walks into their house
He had no reason to believe the rope ladder would be gone. He shouldn’t have followed the “lost” kid away from his car.

As far as I am aware, you cannot get in any sort of trouble if you refuse to help someone, but could potentially if you start helping and then leave them without cause. If he said no and went to his car and left, even if he didn't call the cops I'm pretty sure he would be legally in the clear because you cannot penalize people for prioritizing their own safety over someone else's. It's like a bystander law or something. I don't know the specifics but I am fairly certain that you can choose to ignore people needing help because you can't be given legal consequences for putting your own safety first.

Or when he realized she was set on the baby, feigned interest in her until she gave birth. Take the baby and use it as a bargaining chip to escape. Alina would have caved. The boys too if Stone went further and got rid of Alina.

Watched the whole thing and how are they cannibals again? Besides the kid eating the finger at the beginning, there didn't seem to be anything else that suggested they were cannibals.
They didn't have enough body props 😂
They weren't cannibals...if they were, they would've eaten him after they killed him. Instead they just let his body rot. The kid was likely just chewing on something he found on the ground...babies and dogs will put anything they find on the ground in their mouths.
When I watch a horror movie I think 'they are so dumb' but then when I imagine myself in a similar situation, I'd probably make stupid choices too. Luckily these videos will not help me at all because I'll forget everything I learned. But hopefully these videos will save me someday
I’m assuming this is a backcountry trail due to the lack of other people and trail signs or trail markers.
He also came super underprepared. Even if it was as simple of a trail as it seems, it’s still the Utah desert. He needed a map and compass, extra water, a thermal blanket, extra food, something warmer to wear and an emergency kit just in case he got hurt or stranded and was there overnight. Ideally anyone going hiking should have an emergency beacon no matter how experienced you are or how busy the trail area is.
It might seem like way too much for a quick hike but so many people have died on quick hikes and many might have lived if they’d brought the right gear with extra food and water with them.
You're more likely to die going to the toilet...
Just think about the millions of uneventful hikes people go on.
Hell, I'm on a farm and just walking down to my dam is probably more dangerous than most hiking trails.
Don't get me wrong, rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it BUT let's be realistic, the odds are tiny that you're going to have some catastrophe.

There are plenty of espisodes were he blames the characters for not knowing they are in a horror movie. But this is not one of them even by irl standards the MC was ignoring blaring warning signs.
I do wonder how differently it would have gone if he'd killed Alina - or used her as a hostage, given how the 'mothers' cycle is dependent on her. - At that point, deconstructing the home into a latter isn't impossible, especially if you plan the murder right after a supply drop

What people don't think about while watching these videos is that the characters have to make decisions in the heat of the moment. They are probably gonna panic in dangerous situation like that, and won't be able to think straight. Meanwhile Mr How To Beat over here has all the time in the world to think of any possible thing that the characters could've done better.
It's easy to be a smartass when you're not in that situation yourself. If I'm lost in the desert without water I'm trying my luck with the weird desert woman who has food and shelter, I'm not thinking about unlikely shit like maybe she's in a cannibal cult or something.
What people who comment stuff like this don't think about while watching these videos is that the entire point of the channel is HOW TO BEAT the scenario, not what would realistically happen if someone was suddenly thrust into that scenario without any preparation.
That doesnt mean u should be dumb enough to follow a kid who isnt properly communicating and leading u somewhere.Literally kidnappers,human traffickers.organs sellers make this obvious bait.And also he was sane minded at the time.

Hey 👋 I enjoy your episodes of “How to beat” series. This movie is actually a decent horror flick. What surprised me about the main character named “Stone” is that how unprepared he was for this hiking adventure. It seems like he was just taking a quick walk at the local park or something 🤣 especially considering the way he was dressed and the amount of water he took with him. You would think he would take more supplies with him at the beginning of the film. Basically he makes lots of bad decisions in the movie that are just very dumb.
I hate heights so i wouldnt even go down into the giant creepy hole and all this movie tewches me is; have upper body strength

How I would have beaten this scenario: 1, I would not leave the trail for any reason. 2, I'm Acrophobic (fear of heights) so I wouldn't have gotten within 20 feet of that crater.
