    Hey,
Please make a video for using Synology NAS as
    1. Storage server for *home or small office* .
    2. Map NAS as network drive in all Windows computers in network.
    3. Set scheduled, automatic, incremental, and encrypted back up *FROM* NAS *TO* Google Drive. To protect my data from *Ramsomware, Home Fire etc* (while making sure that Google *can't* read my data).
    *4. Restore Data.*

can I use the QUICKLINK URL to attach another NAS or do I have to initiate a VPN tunnel to my outside NAS first?

For an anchor point to prevent split brain, would a router be a good choice? If the router goes down (or is rebooted), would the active server still remain active, assuming there was no split brain condition? How long cold that router be down before there was a problem?

Does Hyper Backup allow for multi-tier backups, i.e., disk -> disk -> cloud?

Why can’t you run VMM Pro and high availability together? Just bought another ds3018xs and wasted a ton of money .

I think you can if you create a share for the drive. Or, iSCSI should be an option.

Where is the option to backup btrfs to btrfs on a volume spanning set of cheap USB HDDs??? >:-( synology's answer is, "Buy another NAS from us!" At 10x the cost of the same size of cheap USB HDDs.

Synology claims that their products work well in professional environments: We do HA! We do RAID! We do iSCSI volumes for VMWare clusters! We do offsite Backup!
What they don't say is that none of their tools know how to backup and restore iSCSI volumes. Need to duplicate a HA volume offsite? Nada, zip, zero, nothing, & they lock down the environment so you cannot ssh in to get around their tools limitations. in short you're screwed unless you were backing up the data from the ESXi servers that mounted the LUN (which takes an eternity). I really want to punch the guy that bought these boxes instead of true professional NASes or even just PCs running freenas/truenas that don't leave out essential parts.

@@nemiw4429 Ask someone who made it through high school to explain it to you.
I'm sure that had you paid more attention in school that you would have fewer issues understanding others. It's never too late for you to take classes in remedial english and it would certainly help your avoiding appearing to be a pre-teen using sms-speak.
