Thank you for posting this and the where the tension settings should be. One question. Is it normal to have to check every single bobbin when you change them out? Every time when I check them when I change, tension is different plus or minus 5 gf. I am using Madeira Item# 308-503.

Hello Sam, great question! It is good practice to check your bobbins when changing them out, but if your machine is running well it is not always necessary. Regularly cleaning out your bobbin case with compressed air to get out any dust or lint is also important for uniform bobbin tension.

What is the diference betwen de L and M model ??

I'm sure you've got your answer by now - but for others who find this post - the L and M models are for the two different bobbin sizes. The guage is the same for both, it's the metal insert at the bottom where the bobbin is placed that varies, and can be changed out/purchased separately.
