Great video!!! I have been having an awful time with my long arm stitches. It was suggested I get one of these gauges. I ordered & got it today. Your video was such help! My tension was past 300! No wonder I have had issues. Thank you!! Thank you!!
What!!! I didn't know such a thing existed! I will definitely be getting one. Where do I find one? I needed this so badly a couple of months ago. I have the J150 also and usually don't have tension troubles. However, I did have lots of trouble on a memory quilt that never got resolved. I ended up settling for seeing the dot to dot look that was happening because at least it was consistent, so maybe to a non quilter it might appear intentional. (I had black thread in the bobbin and white thread on top to match the fabrics on each side. I was chicken and didn't want my stitching to be especially noticeable in case I did a poor job. My choice seemed to be the dot to dots on the front or eyelashes on the bottom. There was no in-between to be had that day.
Would this work for a heavy duty highlead gc0388? The bobbin keeps popping out when I am trying the dropping method and it’s so hard to gauge if it’s right because of the fact. I have been struggling for five hours now. 😩
Thank you for your video. As a complete beginner in sewing, this gadget will be handy for me. Liked and subscribed!!
This is the PERFECT video when explaining how to fix the tension on these things. THANK YOU!

Great video! Thanks for the details. 👍
Super helpful. Thank you!
Do you use it for pre-wound bobbins as well? If so, at what setting?
I don't use pre-wound bobbins, but I would expect to follow the same steps

Is this a size M bobbin?
Does this work on all bobbin sizes?
Thanks

Lol, now I know that mN is a millinewton. Now to figure out how to convert that to grams 🤔
divide by 10
