    What are you lubricating the bearing with before you put it in? Engine oil?

    Mine makes the stereotypical noise, but no play in the wheel at all, any ideas what it could be?

      @@flippingcarsrepairs - The freezer does half of the job. Just don't do like me. That once I "lost" a bearing in the large freezer. I couldn't remember where it was. My wife added a lot of stuff in there. Later I ended up buying another bearing.
      Funny detail, I only found that particular bearing a couple years after. I still have it in stock. Probably will be changed this month. LOL 🙂

    Hi, What size was that wheel bearing bit?

  • @timberman1713
    @timberman1713 2 года назад +3

    Ha-ha! That's true if you're a professional mechanic, take all the tools with you, and every parts. Mine could have been pushed out with a 20-ton pneumatic press! Otherwise, the video is good!

      Thanks for Watching i normaly take it to the garage to get it pressed out but sometimes they don't like doing it as it could crack the hub and don't want to be liable for it so this is a great idea.

      Very important to be careful how you press the bearing back in. Or else you will end up replacing it within a year or two. I used a hydraulic press, and push it up to 14 tons to get it in nice and evenly. Good job, and thanks for shearing with us. 👍

      ya the replacement part and removeal of bearing itself is blocked by mechanic or lack of light.
