What are you lubricating the bearing with before you put it in? Engine oil?
Your right Engine oil thanks for watching
Can you tell me what the brand of this bearing kit is or where to get it from?
Hi unfortunately it's not got a brand however I remember I got it from amazon type in wheel bearing puller hope that helps 👍👍👍
@@flippingcarsrepairs yeah I managed to find it on Ebay for about £30. I will have a go at doing it tomorrow!
Keep up the good work it will take off.
Thanks I've been watching all your vids you do similier but I'm not confident like you on camera 👍👍 it's very hard to get subs your close to 1k good luck and keep soing your vids, I can't beleave you brought a c63 buy selling on them cars that would be my dream.
Have you got a link to the bearing removal tool
It's on amazon I will try and get it for you thanks
Hi wondering if you had the link to the tool kit you used as so many available thanks
Hi mate did you find the correct kit for the vivaro A thanks
Mine makes the stereotypical noise, but no play in the wheel at all, any ideas what it could be?
Sorry for the late reply been away😁 Thats a weird one have you checked your tyre for any flat spots or maybe your brake disk are warped and rubbing on the pad at a certain point. Hope this helps let me no how you get on
@@flippingcarsrepairs hello, so although it didn’t have play in it, I had it to be repaired/ replaced..
Definatly was the bearing and now it’s fixed, thanks bud
Top tip. Leave the bearing in the freezer overnight x
I have geard about that but never tried it 🤔ill give it ago nexttime 👍👍👍
@@flippingcarsrepairs - The freezer does half of the job. Just don't do like me. That once I "lost" a bearing in the large freezer. I couldn't remember where it was. My wife added a lot of stuff in there. Later I ended up buying another bearing.
Funny detail, I only found that particular bearing a couple years after. I still have it in stock. Probably will be changed this month. LOL 🙂
Hi, What size was that wheel bearing bit?
Sorry I'm not sure it was the biggest in the set
Ha-ha! That's true if you're a professional mechanic, take all the tools with you, and every parts. Mine could have been pushed out with a 20-ton pneumatic press! Otherwise, the video is good!
Thanks for Watching i normaly take it to the garage to get it pressed out but sometimes they don't like doing it as it could crack the hub and don't want to be liable for it so this is a great idea.
Very important to be careful how you press the bearing back in. Or else you will end up replacing it within a year or two. I used a hydraulic press, and push it up to 14 tons to get it in nice and evenly. Good job, and thanks for shearing with us. 👍
yep just freeze the bearing it will go in a lot easier
Sure can I've heard that one before but never trued it .i needed it done so had no time 👍
Good job 👍
Thanks hope it helped 👍
Can't see hardly anything..
????
ya the replacement part and removeal of bearing itself is blocked by mechanic or lack of light.
The poor sods' doing his best... give him some praise!
