Hi its a lovely little car got it for a bargain.totaly agree.check the barrage light and it's led whixmch is covered in corrosion so ordered a new one.fixed the tight gearbox the airbox was not secured properly which was hitting the gear selector all secure and fixed next job wait for new door mechanism to arrive 😀

Now that I can't remember so sorry maybe put some on ot as it won't do it any harm

@@flippingcarsrepairs okay,mine almost doesn't make any extra sound..Wich points it Abit towards the manifold..That's a cheap fix compared to the catalytic converter at least..a catcon for c1 is around 300pounds in Norway🥴

@@flippingcarsrepairs When you took it apart was there a paper gasket present on the area you resealed? Also was there sealant put on where the pump bolts onto the engine itself? what sealant did you use and is it still working okay?

@@flippingcarsrepairs I already read it was £500 😜 Initially I would have guessed £1500 but again I don't know the UK market other than it's cheap. I recently found out there salvage companies in The Netherlands who buy wrecks cheap in the UK and sell the parts in The Netherlands. A Mini gen1 engine still does €500, no matter the mileage. Insane isn't it?

@@flippingcarsrepairs so here is an idea: you need to raise the back, lower the front and get the tallest hoist you can get. While not getting yourself killed. Maybe get the front wheels and suspension off to get it to sit low enough?

@flippingcarsrepairs everyone says that about confidence, but I'm just as nervous in front of a camera. Thing is really not to care and be you. My channel isn't for everyone, but it was never meant to be - just be you and forget the camera and if people don't like it then I'm sure there's other things to watch on RUclips. Better to have a small audience that likes your stuff than a massive subscriber base always moaning!

@immortalknight3968 I did have but it was constantly going up so I do day insure now then I just trailer the car or if you need to get a mot just drive it to the test centre and book it in with the registration you legally allowed to drive there or a place to get the car fixed as with out a mot you can't tax it so u can't win

Realy sealy question just doble checking tlyou have undone the bleed nipple enough .also Is the reservoir full to the top with brake fluid,theses are a nitemare.can you see the fluid moving up and down in in the reservoir if you cant you may have air in the master cylinder or the dreaded cylinder may have failed to.what I would do is put a one way valve with a tube on and a jar then pump the peddle about 20 times if nothin I would undo the pipe that connects the mastercylinder to the slave cylinder and see if fluid is coming out when u pump the clutch if it doesn't its the master.if I'd does then it could be a issue with the slave cylinder pipes hope that help please let me no how you get on

@flippingcarsrepairs Thank you for your reply. I have removed the clutch master cylinder, and no fluid was dripping from the tube that connects to the reservoir. The reservoir has fluid in it. The tube that connects to the slave cylinder is also dry. Could the reservoir be blocked?

@Faizal_Khan 100% sounds like it's blocked as if you disconnected that grey pipe from the reservoir that would pour out fluid realy quick as its gravity fed .

@flippingcarsrepairs yeah.. I'll have a look at the reservoir tomorrow. Took me the whole day to remove the clutch master cylinder with a lot of swearing.

Yup getting prepared to take the range rover engine e out very soon soooo many people keep telling me its not possible to do it with out a 4 poster ramp.is it oh no that's weird I thought you can still comment as matt Armstrongs are 🤔

@@flippingcarsrepairs you have the skills to install an 107 engine using a tiny jack. I'm sure you'll figure out how to get the engine out of the range rover without a 4 post lift.

@ProToonster thanks means alot.yes once u fitted it u need to fill the reservoir up and loosen the slave cylinder and let it flow.they are a nitemare to bleed.let me no how u get on
