- TOWN FIRSTS: This is first day of my 12 Days of Newness. Where each day I do something I’ve never done before. Some things are odd, some are not, some are pointless and all are done with a Beauish twist. In this episode I head to town to do a whole bunch of brand new things.

CLANGER ALLERT! As some folks have picked up...one of my firsts in this film is not a first, and it involves donuts! What an idiot. All the sugar and jam must have done something to my memory. Whatever it was, it's true, I have paid for a donut before (day three of paddling to work!) It's worth saying again, what an idiot. Oh and by the way, come back in 40 odd hours (every two days) for the next episode. Goodonyas. Donut.

I would love a Helen channel. It stands to reason that if Beau is so awesome, she must just as awesome in a complementary way. Every time I see them interact on screen I think "thats what I want in a partner". Lucky guy.

I feel like a child for asking this but why is she asking for a backroom? For her and beau or for beau and the barber?
She's asking for a hookup room because of how much more attractive she finds him now. At least that's the only way I see it. Why would beau and the barber go in a private back room?

Beau, your wife is a great person. We all have our quirks, and (mostly) our wives live with/tolerate, and in some cases embrace them. Good on you both.
Beau looks 20 years younger after the trip to the barber. I love his wife's comment - that's the best compliment he can receive.
Video starts and Beau is making an advent calendar out of corrugated iron. That just might be a "new thing" for humanity as a whole!
