Sorry there's so many nasty comments Beau. I know you take them in stride but just know there's so many more of us who appreciate your work and admire you.
I don't think I've ever looked at a person and thought "That person is my hero." At least not until I found your channel. Your approach to life, to food, to discovery, your humility about it all, and the fact that you bring a genuine attitude of easy positivity to all these adventures and misadventures has me thinking about your videos a lot. I'm a second-hand girl, a bit of a grub, and the kind of person who absolutely would (and does) eat random stuff I find on the side of the road or in dumpsters. Thanks for bringing that same happy-go-lucky, low-maintenance, curious attitude to its logical end point and reminding me that there are other weirds out there. You're my hero Beau!

Hello, Beau. Just letting you know that the kids i have in House group, yrs7-12 (I teach in the Adelaide Hills, in the largest growing town in SA, I think) all really enjoy your clips. Animals eat from the floor, toddlers do it too. Anyone who thinks it’s an issue is conditioned to think so. That last comment was handled superbly, seeing something expressed in such a way by someone so far out of touch with reality was very polite. You had every opportunity to humble them to chose restraint at the expense of dignity. Very humbling.
I hit a roo a couple weeks ago. I felt, and still feel really bad about it. I feel like I'm living in a weird world where I'm supposed to be okay with what happened. To hear that you care about what you find on the side of the highway matters a lot. I get the sense that none of us should ever be driving if we can get away with it. I can't see how it's ethical. I can't see how it can ever be safe enough for everybody to be okay. But that sounds insane. I'm worried it's not.

Animals eat from the floor, toddlers do it too. Anyone who thinks it’s an issue is conditioned to think so. That last comment was handled superbly, seeing something expressed in such a way by someone so far out of touch with reality was very polite.
This was so funny! One of your best videos 😂
