Good info, I have an older T-Rex 700 Nitro Pro that I converted to Flybarless using the BeastX, I have been running the Align gov. Now if I can make it work with Spektrum.👍
Hello where did you get the plug setup on the side of the beastx? I been trying to set up the hov on the beastx for a while with no luck so I been using the align gov as well. Can you do a setup video on this setup.
@@BayonasRCWorld Yes, That was an excellent video. And I also would like to see a video of how you wired it and maybe even how you did the programing of the TX.
@@BayonasRCWorld I'm close to finishing mine. Will let you know how it flew. I'm going electric, but what was your final weight ? Any quarks I should be aware of.
@@sorenwolff4954 for the Citabria I would say mix in some rudder with Aileron to get smooth turns or if no mixing then during any turns with Ailerons you will need to add rudder. Other than that the plane is a blast to fly.
any issues with signal? the beasts says don’t use satellite setup use a 7 channel receiver with bigger models, so my nitro isn’t using beastx governer……
I use Futaba SBus receiver and never had any signal issues. Yes for anything over a 470 use a full range receiver. The use of just satellites with Microbeast is only for 470 and smaller helis. The reason is that with smaller helis there's no room for a full size receiver plus it is not needed since you will really never fly so far away. Now if you use just satellite on a 500 and larger heli you will eventually fly further away which you will loose range and ultimately Lose control of your model.
To be honest a flight simulator is the best way to get started. Especially if you never have flown a RC helicopter this would be the best and cost effective way.
Beast x still to this day is one of my personal favs !
Btw, nice flying, smooth. Sounded windy too.
Yeah it was a windy day that day. Thanks for the kind words and I appreciate you for watch.
Outstanding tutorial chelu, awesome job on setting up the beast x ! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I have been running the Align RCE-6600 governor for years on Spektrum. Works great!
great job buddy
Thanks 👍
Hi, nice video! what drive gear ratio did you set in beastx? Did you set it with studiox?

Sure can! Also the RPM sensor you can purchase from Helidirect or Amainhobbies.

@@publius1776ad Right on! I will get a video going on how I wired it all up and programming of the Microbeast Plus with internal RPM Governor.
Never see helo flying like that! Insane.
Quite question. Any update on that Sig Citabria?
Hehehehehe Citabria still in the back. I will eventually finish it.

What helo does one even start with to “try” and learn to fly like that?! 🤪

Hello, could I just ask. On MBX, what channel is GOV linked too?
Channel 8 Futaba, AX3 for Spectrum.
@@heeder777 Thank you. Cleared up my confusion
How does it know what gear ratio you have? How do you set that?
Number of main gear teeth divided by the number of pinion teeth. E.G. Main gear, 112 teeth divided by pinion, 13 teeth. 112/13=8:61
