    When I first started in helis about ten years ago, I had 4 times that amount of experience in fixed wing. Thread locker wasn’t used all that much in my airplanes. What I discovered was my ignorance of where it should be used. One place was the servo mounts, the other was the control horn screw. I was luckier than you because I found it as I spooled up and it rolled hard right immediately when I increased collective. Sorry for your crash, helicopters seem to resemble a dying chicken beating itself into the ground. Great tip on the feathering shaft.

    Sorry for the crash, straight back on the horse is the way. A little tip i found years back with rolling the feathering shaft, do it on a mirror becuase it will double the error, so to speak. Ie, youll see twice the gap making it more obvious to spot if there is a bend, which you might not spot otherwise. Good video matey.

    Bought it from someone who looked liked they knew what they were doing,
    Famous last words. Yeah it only looked from a far.
    The bolt and bolt head is undergoing tensions forces, tensile strength is how much force it can withstand. Your thrust bearings that trap the bolt head and main blade grips are experiencing compressions forces.

    Great job dude. Could you ask /tell all you know in the hobby Canada's hobby fun is dying at we need it back like you guys have kept the hobbies going strong. I know I'm asking something out of the ordinary and maybe I worded this wrong. We need help nitro is dying almost completely and even my hobby shop who is but OF I shop he said to me I need to give him a deposit for One losi diff gear. Apologies for the rant we need help or the hobby here will drastically change as it already has.
    One good example is ntitro is now illegal to use in almost every public place
    I guess the best thing to do is raise awareness and hopefully we'll get this help from everyone that we need so much.

    Could you show sometime what you need to run that receiver with the spirit FC? I was using a satellite but your setup would be perfect from my scale heli because it should allow me to run two extra servos

    • @danieljohnston1111
      @danieljohnston1111  Год назад

      Yes no problem it's just a simple servo lead but at one end the signal wire is separate so 2 plugs at one end, then following instructions in the manual one end into their data port on the receiver and other ends onto the FBL

    • @The_regular
      @The_regular Год назад

      Ahh it looked like you had the s bud port. Puuhhed in but I see you have another satellite

    listen to me
    as well as putting the threadlocker
    in ALL the screws that go into the aluminum you have to put the threadlocker even in the screw that the servo lever.
    those servos align they tend to unscrew the bracket screw.
    Same thing for the tail servant.
    if you have plastic put a little of attack.
    all plugs put hot glue.
    there are Brands of threadlocker which they keep well today.
    but if you check again in a month or two It seems like disappearing.
    So if it happens you have to insert the threadlocker again.
    but change brand if it happens.
    remember the hot glue the vibrations disassemble everything.
    PS
    the thrust bearing you don't have to put the first screw and block it already.
    you must have the same distance when you see from the hole of the thrust bearing.
    this way a thrust bearing is pushed more and the other less.
    uses a one way bearing to disassemble a screw from the axle
    But when you have 0 degrees do you also have the levers of the head aligned?
    they seem slightly lowered

    Heli,s can be such time wasters + nothing to show but crashes !!!! there are 2 guys in our club that fly them + they are experts i can "no way" copy them so i bought a flywing gps 450 which i can fly around its good enough for me , i have 700 Align which i will convert to gps its massive + very powerful also i fly fixed wing so i like to maintain my flying skills with them .Heli,s are so time demanding try other flying as well for a change .
