Great job getting this video out so quickly! Excited to compare this to the monster Gen2. Also, killing it with the B-Roll. Setting the bar wayyyyyy to high!
The new Hudef Viva Pro Gen3 is the best of the 20 paddles I have played with. Great power, spin, control and pop. More pop than the Ruby and costs $30 less.
Nice review man! I shockingly felt it was stiffer than the gen2 and felt similar to the mark one/kinetic in terms of stiffness. That paddle hits hard!!!!
Very interesting experience... I've also heard some people who must have either revievedigbter versions or calculated their SW different, but have gotten SWs at 120 or less... but I think you and I are pretty close there!
sweet review I'm new to the pickleball space from a tennis background, which is do you recommend between the Gen 2 or gen 3 from your playing experience using hudef viva pro gen 2 and gen 3, have a blessed and safe week
Hi there, glad you enjoyed the review! Both paddles are good, but I prefer the Gen3. Its a little more soft and with the new PBMED-G3 code, the price is very close between the two. You may be one who may like the Gen2 better, because I think it's a little more stiff and a slight amount more poppy, but as a tennis player, you may be just fine with power and may need a little more control, so I would say go with the Gen3, IMO
I have the J2k Pro drive speed recorded in my stats database with an average speed of 57.1. It also hits hard, but I do think the Gen3 hits a bit harder and has a bit more pop. The J2k Pro has a bigger sweet spot and a lower swing weight.. so each have their strengths! I haven't calculated my personal drive speed for the Azul yet.
I got it a bit early as one of their ambassadors and can say it's definitely not as head heavy. I had the Gen2 for a while but, the higher swing weight and head heaviness made my wrist hurt. I've had NO PAIN from using the Gen3.
IMO I think it's comparable. Swing weight #s are pretty close.. perhaps I got a heavier one, but I've heard other people that have measured lower swing weights than mine. For me, it's about the same, maybe a touch less head heavy.
Hope you guys enjoyed the review! Let me know what you think if there are things you want to see more or less of!

Haha thanks dude, you're the man! If I didn't have to break my back setting it all up every time, I'd be a little happier about it! 😅

It's a solid paddle and I think a lot of people are going to enjoy it!
The Hudef Viva Pro Gen3 is amazing. The power and control is exactly what I want. The grip is very comfortable.
It's amazing.Very nice upgrade. Loved it.
I bought it …. Thanks to your feedback. I like power more than dinking. I always try to speed up the kitchen.
That sounds like a pretty good paddle.

Great to see pickleball content creators supporting each other!
Have tried the NEW PADDLETECH batten tko-c 14.3mm How does it compare to this and the mark one

Thank you for the input, and recommendation I will be leaning towards the Hudef Viva Pro Gen 3 and have a blessed and safe week
They should make a hybrid version. This paddle has a high swingweight and leaves no room for customization.
how do you compare this to viva pro gen 2 in terms of power and pop?
Want to see the difference with Mark Kinetic.
Nice paddle
Agreed, my friends!
How do the GEN 2 AND GEN 3 compared to CRBN ? 1X ?
does it have the plate like the GEN2??
guessing the core is the cheap "generic" PP honeycomb. Won't matter with a "lifetime Warranty"
A brand I have been seeing alot lately is Carbon Pickle. Are they legit and do they sell a good paddle. Im specifically talking about their pro series
I haven't heard much about them, but ill have to check them out!
Do you know the drive speed of the Thrive Azul and J2Kpro for comparison?

No problem!
Is this paddle head heavy like the Gen 2?

The Pro Gen3 feels light and fast to me, not at all head-heavy.

very nice 👍👍👍
Thank you for the support! 🙏
You are like a calm studios nerd in your review and then transform into a steroid filled madman on the court 🤣
124 swing weight is too high
Thier site says 120
@@cindydarling6315 It's not that heavy. Just got it and it is not too heavy at all.
k0pped.
I'm not sure what that means... 😅
@@PickleballMedicine It means I just purchased one with your code. LOL
