Good Afternoon from Colorado 💙
Warm here! I'm sure it's warm in Texas!
Crazy weather in California 😕
Have a fantabulous night!
Enjoyed the tunes 🎶
💜👩💜
I saw Chris Eaton as part of the Mark Williamson Band several times in 1980 / 1981 in the UK, he always wrote the very catchy tunes that stick in the mind
Lee, thanks for highlighting Chris Eaton. Everlasting Love is one of my favorites. Keep up the great work with the tour videos, great to see all the wonderful places you are able to play. Safe travels.
I didn't know Mr. Eaton was from England. A great artist who has certainly 😀 made a name for himself in the CCM 🌎 world.
Lovely video highlghting a fabuously talented guy. Chris is a real gent who I had the pleasure of meeting many years ago. Love this album. Thank you,.
Good afternoon, Lee! 😃❤️
My father's 85th birthday was yesterday. He absolutely LOVES your video that you made for him! I can't thank you enough for that. It's truly priceless.
I'm glad you're coming down the home stretch. I am so excited for Clubhouse again. Going to do video one-on-ones!
Love ya so much! Thankies for the tunes as always!
Have a great gig tonight! 🎶🎸😎❤️
We never complain about preparing for a tropical storm (or more) and not having it show up. Much better to be prepared plus it forces you to tidy up :)
Have another wonderful show. Thanks for the video. Take care & stay safe.
Sir Lee,
Good Saturday afternoon!
Great music indeed; have a great show tonight!
Leland, thank you for covering the GREAT Chris Eaton! To those that have not heard Chris Eaton’s album VISION released in 1986 on Reunion Records you are missing out on music greatness! It is one of my favorite albums of all time! Bass players on the album are Nathan East, Neil Stubenhaus and Pino Palladino. Drummers are Paul Leim, Carlos Vega and Charlie Morgan.
I can’t put in this space the immensity of Chris Eaton’s talents! His singing voice is in a category of its own, his song writing has such depth and beauty of melody! You can find most of his work, solo or other artists he has written songs for on RUclips or Spotify!
Good Day … Enjoy Texas Sir 🎉🎉🎉
There is magic in every step you take, every person you meet, and in every note you exquisitely play, Lee. Take care, stay safe, and enjoy the last legs of your wonderful tour with Lyle and the band!
The vocals and harmony vocal pitches are so right on but you can tell it was not auto tuning ! Dreamy happy music ! Sounds like fun to do ! Thank You As Always!who ever produced this did a great job because all the musical parts fit the emotions exactly!
Thanks for Chris Eaton today, Leland. I've been playing his music this evening
Thank you for tracks from Chris Eaton's ' 1995 'Wonderful World'. . . very nice ✨️

Speaking of Hurricanes. Here it’s usually the wind that’s really bad. BUT.. of course flooding is just as damaging. Hope your place stays without damage. We need rain here so might get some from Hillary. Trees are falling from this long haul of heat. One fell on my fence last week. A neighbors pecan tree. Has two more fragile large limbs. But they cannot afford to trim it .. if a hurricane should hit us. Those huge branches are deadly. ..take care ….❤
Hoping the it will be okay Carol, and that the pecan branches won't get you, ❤😊🙏🏻
Really nice music. Thanks and have a great Saturday.

Nice...very nice song.
Hi Lee. This is a magnificent album and has some incredible words mixed into the lyrics. I can hear so many artists in this music including Chris Rea and Bryan Ferry and a little Phil. Totally brilliant music. The news of the hurricane was on our news even here in Australia. Stay safe and keep on keeping on. Thoughts and prayers always. Hi to everyone.🙏🖐✌️

Chris Eaton Biography by Tom Demalon
Born on September 16, 1958, Chris Eaton grew up in the West Midlands of England, influenced by music ranging from Deep Purple to Cliff Richard, a diversity that would serve him well during his career as a singer, songwriter, and producer. He was a member of the band Lyrix in the ‘80s, but left, eventually issuing a solo record, Vision, in 1986. Following its release, Eaton shifted his focus to less prominent, yet intrinsic roles in the music industry. As a songwriter, his songs have been performed and recorded by a myriad of Christian artists, including Susan Ashton and Margaret Becker, as well as numerous notable artists in other genres such as Sheena Easton, Vince Gill, and Boney James. Eaton also provided backing vocals on a number of records, including releases by Michael English, Twila Paris, and Michael W. Smith. In 1995, his Wonderful World album fond favor with the fans in the Christian market, buoyed by the track "Everlasting Love." Since then, Eaton has issued a third solo release, 1998's What Kind Of Love, which included tracks co-written with Amy Grant.
Howdy Mark! 😎🎸🎶

@Mark_Brooks I'm doing great! Did a 5k today. Gorgeous weather after a rainy week here. Four tornadoes, with one on RI and three in Massachusetts here yesterday. Crazy weather. And now, LA is getting a tropical storm. Eeee ghads!🌪
Hope you're doing well, bud! 🥰

Good Times!!! But do take care you are almost home Big Lee.
Q: Where was Lee on July 18, 1979?
A: At the Blossom Music Center in Ohio touring with James Taylor along with several members of the future Immediate Family.
James Taylor recently posted a video on RUclips of James Taylor singing "Mexico" at the Blossom Music Center. The opening is really cool with James and Lee playing together.
Also, later in the video it appears Waddy had a little too much caffeine. 🙂
:) Thanks for this heads up.

A friend of mine drove from LA to Portland a few days ago on I 5. Had to cut over to highway 1 bc of fires. There were 5 fires enroute. He sent me pictures from Portland where the sky was smokey due to fires burning in every direction except right on the coast. Maybe this is our new normal. It's very disturbing to say the least

Eaton is representative of an entire group of artists who fly under the music world’s radar. Many of them have links to CCM but slip effortlessly into mainstream music and back again. Producers, writers, and infrequent solo artists, they leave their fingerprints everywhere and yet only a few people in the know recognize them outright.
Writing "Wonderful World" encapsulated in one song the renewal that he had felt throughout the whole year. He turned down the chance to play on Amy Grant's 'House Of Love' tour in the belief that God wanted to do something new for him. Chris thinks back: "I wrote the song really out of being overwhelmed with what God had done in my life last year. I was happy with my life and yet I wasn't. I had to struggle for months to figure out what this heaviness of heart was. At the end of the day I knew I had to find God's peace and he just came in and really helped me understand that his peace was all I needed and all these other things of ambition, money, security, career and love would never give me the security I really needed. Having received the riches of what God had promised me in the space of a few days, I learnt to trust God and give certain things up and he made uplifting promises to me which gave me hope. I just felt this peace and release inside of me which made me sit down and write 'Wonderful World'."

Thank 😊 you, Mark!
Always believed the Oboe can be a very underated instrument. Of all the woodwinds, I think the Oboe has the nicest sound for Solos, very vocal sound. Was having a bit if anxiety filled morning, Thanks Leland, and Chris this beautiful music has just eliminated all my anxiety.✌🤍This is great music to relax to, love it, really needed it.
I appreciate you, thank you for making content.
Ethereal sounds. Cool!
Wondering if any prayer circles evolved from this project….
Leland your a major dude! Have a great ending to your tour.
One of the cities you visited recently while on tour, Kelowna, has been hit with wildfires. Very scary and sad what is happening there.

Yes I remember them well and the SDS and University of Michigan where it began. Those who are still with us are as old as I am and the only thing left are our memories and the reason why it began.
Lee, now that the tour is almost over you can tell me what song you're absolutely sick of playing, I'm guessing 'Pants Is Overrated' or 'We Gave Each Other COVID'. 🤔 I promise I won't tell Lyle! 😃
Question Lee-Does Lyle pick the songs at random or does he have a set list so you know what's next?
He has a set list, but the order that the songs are performed changes each show. Keeps it fresh, and he only hands out that night list about ten mins before showtime.
This was pretty cool. Cheers, Leland!✌️
Seems to me that this is a difficult song to plsy 🤔😀
That didn't sound like Frankenstein.
