@@tchiksguitars And a couple hundred or more extra for all the tools needed in beforehand. I always feel it would be nice to craft something like that myself, but acquiring all the tools, let alone find a room to store them first feels like too much effort/time/money to me.. Still, what a great looking guitar! Wish I could have heard what it sounded like in the end!
@@rpgaleksy Actually, you don't need to have all the fancy tools and stuff, it just makes your work a little easier and more accurate, you can make a decent guitar using only hand tools and reclaimed wood. I made one this summer as well, a 3/4 crossover guitar with nylon strings and cutaway. Only from pallet wood and it was my first time bending wood, I had some failures but eventually succeeded. It costs me around 30 € for the preamp and piezo mic kit, frets and keys. Of course, you can't compare my work to tchiks's one as I am a real beginner, but I'm satisfied with the result considering the starting material I have and the small budget project. The guitar I made looks really good, I did a coloured stain on the wood as I don't really like pine wood aspect. And I have only a small garage, it's been messy for the whole summer, but that was worth the disturbance.
@@rpgaleksy People often don't realize that a workshop setup like mine cost about the same price as a medium to high end "big factory" guitar (I'm talking about 3000-4000 Euros). I was lucky enough to already have all the tools before making my first guitar (my previous main hobby was furniture making ).
This is only the second video of yours I have see(so far) but they really are a joy to watch. As I commented on the other one I saw, they are soothing to watch. Your child is so adorable but they reminds me how rusty my french is. 😭😭😭
C'est pas une guitare... c'est une œuvre d'art !!!
Qu'est-ce que je donnerai pour arriver à ça !!
Bravo !
Великолепный мастер! Замечательная гитара! И очень приятно, что ребенок рядом с отцом! Всего наилучшего!!!
Parabéns, lindo trabalho. Qual é o preço dessa guitarra, em especial?
“Your guitar is weird....it doesn’t have strings!” 🤣
Never been more proud of her :p
How much cost you build this guitar?
Amazing job i really love your work
I spent about 500 in woods and hardware /electronics. But I'm not selling :)
I was lucky enough to already have all the tools before making my first guitar (my previous main hobby was furniture making ).
rpg aleksy you can hear Tchiks guitar at the beginning of the video. 0:00
Only this level of craftsmanship gives the propper respect for the wonderful wood being used here.
I like the no talking. This is very satisfying to watch. Lovely little girl❤️
I wanna hear it play!
I was hoping he'd strum a few bars at the end. We need a follow up video.
"c'est magnifique"
"waaaaaaah"

✨💖✨
I love the contrast between the Wenge, Mahogany, and Walnut. Beautiful!
This is only the second video of yours I have see(so far) but they really are a joy to watch. As I commented on the other one I saw, they are soothing to watch. I like the fact there is no voiceover and just the sound of the tools doing their thing.
I love the fact your daughter gets involved and helps out.
I think I found my niche :) except more of those videos in the years to come !
obra de arte sensacional
Imagine owning all the tools you need to build a guitar from scratch.

What's your excuse now :)
@@tchiksguitars it’s cool because some of them look like things I have never seen!
0:18 Wait, doesn´t that mean that children were indeed harmed while making the guitar?
Just joking. Great video and beautiful guitar!
Exactly haha
j'ai mis un moment pour réaliser qu'il n'y a pas de musique pour distraire. Juste le son des outils et le plaisir de regarder. J'imagine aussi ton émotion quand tu l'as branché
You have serious skills in so many areas of woodworking. Absolutely fantastic work. Thank you for sharing.
"I still don't sell guitars"
@thicks guitars and furniture, when will it be possible to buy a guitar from you?
Never ! Haha, makes them priceless
@@tchiksguitars I completely understand your position. Still, if you ever change your mind 😜
Yeah, why not buy when you can build it yourself and 100 times better
Becau$e it'$ even more expen$ive to get all the nece$$ary equipment and require$ a lot of labor inten$ive work
Cause not everyone owns all the shit necessary
Because this guy is a trained luthier and I'm not?
@@yeasstt I'm not a trained luthier (like, at all)
Yeah, it's that easy...
Дизайн гитары воистину ахуенный👍
One of the prettiest guitars I've ever seen
Thx !
Woah, this entire video was incredibly impressive and heartwarming, and made me VERY jealous of you, my good man. However, I didn't fully appreciate how much time and effort (though clearly a labor of Love) this build required until the moment I saw you replace the switch tip. Your eye for detail is impeccable and I salute you!
Your daughter is adorable! I see you don't only make superb guitars but also are a superb parent!
Thank you, I'll let her know :p
It amazes me that there was probably more effort put into making the knob for the pickup switch than I used for making my coffee table. Well done, keep building!
A job like this is way beyond my woodworking capabilities but I find watching this video relaxing and hypnotic. Love this job. 👍
Having watched a few construction videos, it seems that as well as enormous expertise, skill and dedication etc, one needs a multitude of tools.
ruclips.net/video/8jwY3x4HUFk/видео.html
Not really
i'm not a musician but i'm speechless... outstanding craftmanship and awesome design and details. kudos!
