After watching the first video I watched another so now there are 2 of the most beautiful guitars I've ever seen. Watching the work that goes into them makes them all the more impressive. I would like to get into building high end audio amplifiers and speakers one day. I think I'm going to be spending some time watching your catalogue🙂
@@DUY1337GUITAR Reminds me of Colin's comments on when he used wenge as a binding on one of his guitars "The thing I learnt about wenge... it's a BITCH to bend" in his wonderful scotish accent XD
What a ride; so much drama. Great video, great building, great guitar. You have your work cut out for you with Wenge and Ziricote...your waterstones must hate you, haha.
Gonna give you a like just because of those random quacks. 😅 secondly, that is a beautiful looking instrument! The most metal guitar I've seen in a while, in fact. Just stunning work with stunning materials! Thanks!
Editing is pure gold That slab for fretboard is awesomely evil Are you worried binding is too thick and the unsupported part of the fret (with the tang removed) might pop out? Riffage 🤘🤘
No, not worried about the frets, especially since they're glued. Using the saw fence helped with keeping the fret slots tight, too. I've seen a video of someone installing much thicker binding.
never been a huge fan of headless, but I'm starting to chuckle every time you pull out a liner. It's certainly becoming a "you" thing, just "oop, there he goes, adding a liner" XD I hope you took the needed procautions for the wenge though, that stuff is actually pretty nasty if it gets where it shouldn't be.
I had some pokes that made me jump, but luckily no splinters, with the wenge neck. Definitely had some difficult splinters with maple on the build before.
What is that orange-brown-ish tape you put between various glued together parts like the laminated parts of the neck or the fretboard? And why do you use it?
Awesome build man, the wood choices are excellent! I like your pickup inserts, I use EZ-Lok 4-40 inserts but they are essentially full size. What are those small ones you use? Again, it really came out so good! I feel you on the Wenge, I don't love working it but man it feels great when its done!
Thank you! I use 2-56 inserts made for plastic. It's split shaft, so it expands as you thread in the screw. 2-56 is the threading on pickup plates, so you would need to file the base of the bolt so the plate would not engage at the end of the thread.
I’ve watched a few of these guitars build’s recently, they kinda remind me of those asmr vids, which I personally don’t watch, but in respect of the noises etc, only thing is with these vids, they’re quite interesting, cos I play guitar and bass…… 👍🏻 and as for how you get the accuracy correct for the scale lengths on the multi scale, well, damn….
Amazing build! quick question: Shouldn't the dye not work well on the epoxy as theres no wood to seep into? Or does this work because you spray the clear coat after? When I have tried to dye on sealed wood it goes badly as it doesnt sink in and wants to just rob off easily. Thanks!
What is that wood you’re using on the top of neck and body??? The neck looks like some sort of black walnut or I forget the name of this tree in Africa?? It’s so beautiful…
I used z-poxy finishing resin to grain fill, then seal with Mohawk's pre-catalyzed sanding sealer. For clear coat, I sprayed 9 coats of Crystalac Brite Tone gloss, level sanded, then finished with 2 coats of Brite Tone matte.

So good and funny. What are the foil between top and body? And other foils?
@@christianurgese You mean the veneer? It's dyed poplar (tulipier) veneer
@DUY1337GUITAR i don't know. Some very thin black or orange layer.
Thanks for that material, a lot of nice tips for beginner builders! :)
Man this is incredible. I fell in love with this guitar just from watching you make it, I envy you deeply. Beautiful result and process.
Your woodworking, wiring, painting and guitar playing.. love it all, man!
Just incredible!... Enjoyed every second of this Vid. I completely understood the High Velocity sound when things went south.
man if it weren’t for you my feed would be dead asf. never thought my niche interest would be satisfied so well.
Thank you, I got more builds on the way!
Welcome to the future.
Dude, this is so sick. Thank you, YT gods, for showing this to me.
Incredible build and superb production of the video too. Oh and the playing's pretty tasty as well! Thanks for a great watch.
This is one of the most impressive things Ive seen in my lifetime. HUGE respect!
Great stuff as always, love all the subtle touches. Hopefully the algorithm picks you up, your stuff is awesome and I always look forward to it.
The most beautiful guitar I've ever seen😛keep up the awesome work, enough respect 👍

I put those same pickups in a headless multiscale 8 string I built, made the pickups multiscale too, I love them
That neck!!! I love the thick binding you did on the fretboard and wengé necks are my new favorites. Love the feel
I nearly gave up on the wenge neck, but it was worth putting up with it!

This is just amazing!! Your skills (all of them) are in another level! Please keep sharing your builds! Thank you!
I can see how much hard work you put in love the way it turned out congrats
Wow, that is a beautiful headless 7! Awesome!!! Great job with quality and details. That's a great artwork.
outstanding work buddy ! Made 3 myself and my next one will be a 7 strings for sure !! Keep up the nice work
The roller falling apart was awesome. 🤣Gorgeous guitar, Fantastic work!
I was in utter disbelief when that happened
Love your builds. I get so many good tricks from watching.
your crafting skills and guitar playing skills are both sick

Absolutely incredible work. I'm only halfway through and I'm just amazed at the work and dedication. Please continue building.
looks and sounds incredible bro
So dedicated. Love it bro.
Now i think building a guitar is more difficult than actually playing it
It definitely is, but I suck at guitar
Wow, i didn't realize how difficult it was to build an electric guitar. It is absolutely beautiful !
This guitar is an absolute work of art - fantastic work!!
That is a gorgeous gorgeous guitar. Amazing work
one can only dream of owing a guitar like this
This was unbelievably satisfying
Bloody Awesome. I so want to build my own guitar. You provide inspiration to us all
What a ride; so much drama. Great video, great building, great guitar. You have your work cut out for you with Wenge and Ziricote...your waterstones must hate you, haha.
you're so good man.. so much talent! I enjoy watching your builds! Keep it up!
phenomenal work! and a beautiful design.
@27:24..... that finish is lush
Man this thing is beautiful!!
This is freaking art!
That thing is awesome! Love it. Crushing tone.
Thoroughly enjoyed this
Beautiful piece, keep it up!
Not my style of guitar or playing but man what a great build. Watched all the way through. You deserve it!
That vertical grindy post got me feelin funny. Damn fella your doing it, congrats my man.
insta subscribed and liked! love it all bro! its just my dream guitar!
I hope you give your wood supplier a nice xmas card.....
id sure love to have one like it! great work sir
Brilliant dude!!!!! Great job, nice guitar!!!!
Dang dude..sick demo too
Amazing job. I just think the neck joint could be more rounded or almost seamless with the neck
A wild suggestion but I'd like to see you build something really crazy like 9 string or something 💪😎
So inspiring! Really want to build a few ideas I have. Thank you!
Stunning build.

Absolutely ridiculous, love it!
Beautiful work
Amazing guitar dude. Would love to play of those

Fantastic content!
WOW. awesome and incredibly great. Could I have a list of the components used here?
I’m new to the channel. Awesome stuff ❤
Can we buy your guitars?
The way you pause when your roller decided to go nuclear was funny
That veneer is absolutely stunning, especially in combination with the bookmatched burl.
edit: then you just casually threw a 9-piece neck in there.
oh god it's gorgeous
Nice job 👍🏻
You should try making an 8 string headless multi scale hello kitty guitar
Is it weird that I actually had the same idea?
Great video dude, but I think you should really use safety shoes at your workshop! Cheers mate.

Love that build😍
Duuuuuuuuuuude!!! This in LEFTY!!!
Amazing work, I just don't get why the screws of the backplate are not recessed ?
Even better, magnets !
I like your "Son of a..." sounds. Well done.
Sick Bro!
This is so sick. And the way u shred more sick 😂
That's my friend playing. He plays in Coffin Rot
@ damnnnmm thats sick.

So cool!
I've been bulding for ~13 years and I have never taped a truss rod off before gluing the fingerboard on.
WOW. I WANT ONE.
i love this guitar
Can you tell me/us what threaded inserts you used for the pickup mounts? That's a mod I'd like to do to my guitars
They are 2-56 brass threaded inserts for plastic
Dobra, dobra. Masz japoński multi i pozłacane wtyczki w kablu, to slychać. Gitara też pewnie z tej limitowanej wersji z nabitym "D" na gryfie 😅
Very nice!
Where can i buy? looks amazing!
Incredible build. What is the middle laminate you are sandwiching between the black limba and maple? Was that the wenge you were referring to?
That’s dyed poplar veneer
I need a “Silent panic.” T-Shirt in my life
Amazing build! quick question: Shouldn't the dye not work well on the epoxy as theres no wood to seep into? Or does this work because you spray the clear coat after? When I have tried to dye on sealed wood it goes badly as it doesnt sink in and wants to just rob off easily. Thanks!
There was no epoxy on the front. The dye was applied to raw wood, and then sealed
@@DUY1337GUITAR Ah ok that makes sense, thank you!
Is that epoxy that you put on the wood for the seal/grain fill?
Yeah, Z-poxy finishing resin. Sands very well
@ I’ve used it before, good stuff. Amazing guitar by the way, also saw it on Reddit.
how much would it cost to get a 8 string?
Astonishing! mate, what did you do with the pickups? can you share?
I simply remounted the pickups to a new baseplate I designed. There's some tutorials existing on youtube.
What is that wood you’re using on the top of neck and body??? The neck looks like some sort of black walnut or I forget the name of this tree in Africa?? It’s so beautiful…
fucking beautiful piece of work.
In 11 minutes 35 seconds you have a saw contraction where can I get one of those
What blade are you using on that bandsaw? I have the same one and can't seem to find a decent blade that doesn't dull quickly.
It's just the stock blade
Just told my wife this is the most impressive thing I have ever seen, other than her birthing our kids. Do you sell any of the guitars that you make?
Do you sell your builds anywhere
just to people I know at the moment
Great job! Where did you get that fret slotting jig?!
I designed and printed it
🔥🔥🔥
Man.. what is that top material you use?? Also what’s the top of fret board..??? They’re both gorgeous….
The top is maple burl. The fret board is mun ebony
I want one!!! How much?!
Absolutely stunning! May I ask what finish you used? Is the first thing you applied epoxy?
I used z-poxy finishing resin to grain fill, then seal with Mohawk's pre-catalyzed sanding sealer. For clear coat, I sprayed 9 coats of Crystalac Brite Tone gloss, level sanded, then finished with 2 coats of Brite Tone matte.
@DUY1337GUITAR thank you! Getting some ideas for my first guitar project. Your videos are a wonderful inspiration. Keep up the good work!!
