I've recently started learning how to do proper set up and do general repair work on my guitars and now after watching many of your videos you have inspired me to learn how to restore guitars give them new life, brand new guitars are cool but doing what you do is art. thank you for the inspiration.
Thank you for your comment. Thank you very much for your kind words. I'm very happy that you understand what I'm doing. There are various comments that say that all parts should be replaced with new parts, but it makes more sense to get old instruments in the hands of people again and make them want to spend money on them, rather than spending money on them. We are bringing these instruments back to life in a cool way. Let's do our best together! Thank you for your continued support!
@@FUGAGUITARS In a way, the important thing is to give life to the instrument, if the parts are useful, why change them? Personally, I would only change if the part doesn't work or I plan a modification.
I think that's really true! I agree. I feel sorry for the instruments if we don't use what we can. I'm really happy that you understand! I'm not good at English so I'm sorry if the nuances are wrong.
@@FUGAGUITARS There is no need to apologize, when you don't have the necessary tools, just do it like this, with whatever you have at hand, over time you will grow and be able to provide higher quality work.

Wow that was amazing my friend! You are a very talented artist! I'm going to try something like that. I want to build a Les Paul style guitar with a Floyd Rose trem. That graphic ou did was amazing!! 80s hair metal style! Thank you Sir for sharing your talents with us!! 😍👍🤟🙏
I was thinking the same. Why put all that work into it and not do some upgrades to some of the other things like for me. It was the electronics. Why go back with those old garbage electronics if you’re gonna put all that work into restoring the guitar.
This is impressive! You’ve inspired me to get back into working on guitars after stepping away from setups and maintenance for 10 years. I do have a question-did you make the guitar stand?
I did have one more question if that's ok ? But I was curious the stand you rest your guitar on for repairs did you build that yourself or can I buy one ??
It would be very nice if you expained what you are doing. You see, this type of content is for people who will watch and maybe try it themselves. So, it is great to know things like what paint you are using, how many coats of finish, which scraper to use, if you are sending then what grit of sendpaper and so on.
This is not peeling off, but adding to the area to improve the adhesion of the next clear coat. Rather than spraying the clear coat all at once, I spread it over two days to create a thick layer.
The string height of this guitar on 12F is 1.8mm for the 6th string and 1.3mm for the 1st string. The height of the pickup is about 3mm on the 6th string side and 2.5mm on the 1st string side when pressing the last fret.
amazing work but if that was my guitar i would’ve put some Seymour Duncan pickups and locking tuners on it then it would be a gig worthy instrument 🎸🤘🏼in my opinion
With such an effort to mod a guitar, he should have put in a new set of pickups, for that final testing, this guitar doesn’t sound good at all. If any guitar that was relatively old and have not been played for a long time, chances are the pickups have deteriorated.

Very nice mod on this old Burny guitar! The airbrushed ghost flame finish is what really makes it stand out from the old finish! Well done sir!

@17:00 what was that for? I understand that you already put clear coating why remove it and do it again?
This is not peeling off, but adding to the area to improve the adhesion of the next clear coat.

What measurements do you use for string height at the 12th fret and the pickup?
The string height of this guitar on 12F is 1.8mm for the 6th string and 1.3mm for the 1st string.
The height of the pickup is about 3mm on the 6th string side and 2.5mm on the 1st string side when pressing the last fret.

I will refer to it.
how would you even assess how good the sound of the pickups are when they literally recorded the audio with the camera mic?
