Wow what a fantastic shop; I've built over 2000 lap steel style (Melobar) guitars with nothing but hand routers and belt sanders, I can't imagine what we could have done with a shop like that!!!
What a wonderful video! I subbed after 2 minutes. Beautiful guitar and fantastic music for this video. I enjoyed the entire process SO much! Great work.👍
It’s very nice, beautiful even, but to see a craftsman at work is far more inspiring than seeing a bunch of machines doing the work. I built my first electric guitar by hand with hand saws, chisels, files and hard work. Machines are all very well and I have nothing against them but you are not watching a craftsman working, merely a good tool operator.
Absolutely beautiful instrument and craftmanship, and a great video. I must say; routing the pickup cavities AFTER finishing the top is a *ballsy* move 😁 But it comes out so crisp and clean that way, I've never seen anyone do that before.
There is no new way to build a guitar that makes it better we have reached the pinnacle of what a guitar should do but the quality of how guitars are made can change and this is about as perfect as it gets an engineered work of art in all its magnificence this is quality at its best
Great work.... Excellent use of the CNC (rocking the Shop Sabre). You have to know what you are doing to set up the clamps close like that. I'd be nervous as it started to cut the neck.
I clicked on this video as I plan on building a custom 7-string for myself after finishing up a hand-built telecaster, and watching the process for achieving a lam-top over the forearm comfort top... lord, that is going to be a bitch to pull off with my hand tools lol.
What a great video, the locating pins, the bending, the finishing, I found it really interesting you do the pickup cavities after finishing, any particular reason?
I hope this operator of the CNC of the machine does not call himself a guitar master there are more souls in Chinese manufactories than in this machine!
This is not guitar making. It is, however, an abject lesson on computer programming. When will you people learn how to use hand tools? Oh yeah! You use a mouse.
OK, this is a very beautiful "handmade" Strat-Copy.... but... why should s.o. pay so much bucks for a custom-made egg slicer? Does it sound or burn better than any factory-made instrument? The older I became the more I learned its' not the INSTRUMENT but the PLAYER who creates the MUSIC/sound. Give a $10.000 guitar to a beginner an he'll sound like a beginner and give a $ 300,- guitar to MUSICIAN and he'll create MUSIC!!!! Please never forget: Selling musical instrument is just a BUSINESS to make money! There are millions of great Musicians all over the world who play/use"old/vintage" instruments and there are also millions of great musicians with "new" instruments... Can YOU hear the difference? The ability to play a thousand notes/tones doesnt make YOU an artist!
this is one of the most beautiful display of intelligent and careful craftsmanship I've ever seen
I just want to say, I watch a lot of these build videos, and my jaw dropped. You are doing it and please do not stop.
???
Every detail so well planned out and executed. Gorgeous finish! Thanks for sharing with us.
Beautiful instrument! ❤ The details into every aspect of the build are amazing! Loved the video, and the instrument! 👏
A wonderful instrument, congratulations!
Son that's a mean nasty guitar you just built Beautiful!

question. why route pickup cavities after painting? is it alignment issue? how do you realign cnc so it cuts in same spot?
Beautiful master piece guitar bro

Simply beautiful
Its important to support your local luthiers and not only buy big brand names. You get a better guitar that way!
Excellent video, beautiful work as always. Thank you for posting, we have similar set up all around and really nice to see your process.

I’m in awe! Superb work!
Beautiful😍
Very nice build! I got a chuckle seeing your fretboard glue-up jig... you can never have too many toggle clamps 🗜😄
Amazing crafstmanship
Love the fretboard clamps 😬.
why did you carve the pu-cavities after the spraying?
Hi, it's just my personal preference for cleaner cavities, also makes shielding easier.
Very nice!

How much is that cnc? I want it to make my guitars pretty like yours
They are roughly 10k (last time I got a quote) without any upgraded features. Best machine you can buy for the money. It's a Shop Saber 23 FYI
This is a chirurgical job . Guitars for Muséum 😌😌
You do AMAZING work. I had one question: Why would you cover up the beautiful flamed maple top? Customer order, perhaps?
Hi, the customer wanted the natural binding to be figured.
what size cnc bit did you use for the feet slots? i’m getting ready to build my first guitar on my cnc machine
.023" most likely. Look up bits bits they have a 2 flute .023" endmill specifically for that purpose. I use them and they are awesome.
Now i just want a cnc for the sake of having one 😅
Have you ran purple heart 💜 on CNC before? How does it do?
Yes, it cuts similar to maple.
Oh my God!
What software are you using? Aspire?
Rhino and Rhino Cam
la acepto de donación!!!!! :)
Congrats to CNC 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😂😂
👋👋👋
I want one.
How does it sound? It looks nice but it is how it sounds that matters
keren
Just a machine and 😢😢😢
How much?
omg the routing after the finish work made me a little nervous lol
I have the single sexiest guitsr build idea in the world. Build it and send it to meeee
CNC custom)))
I hope this operator of the CNC of the machine does not call himself a guitar master

Cnc guitar
Should have doweled the two pieces together , instead of just butt joined them.
If there are any leftover wood, I would be very grateful if you would make it for me, Allahu...
CNC just kills the game...
