At Anka Custom, we strive to transform beautiful pieces of wood into exceptional guitars and basses. While the end result is visually stunning, this process requires not only a significant amount of experience but also patience and passion.
Even though we proudly integrate modern CNC machines that helps achieve precision and consistency into our fabrication process, that's only 30% of the journey, the rest is where the fun begins for the luthier, countless hours of hand shaping, sanding, fretting, soldering and assembling takes place.
We especially focus on making not only beautiful instruments but also reliable, road proof and functional guitars and basses with components that have been revisited and corrected from previous iterations. Since we are also musicians with 20 years of experience on the road, we have accumulated data over the years of what the musician really needs, and that is reflected in our vision.

Great work.... Excellent use of the CNC (rocking the Shop Sabre). You have to know what you are doing to set up the clamps close like that. I'd be nervous as it started to cut the neck.

what size cnc bit did you use for the feet slots? i’m getting ready to build my first guitar on my cnc machine
.023" most likely. Look up bits bits they have a 2 flute .023" endmill specifically for that purpose. I use them and they are awesome.

Yes, it cuts similar to maple.
