Hi! Just lovely…I would like to know …what fabrics are on both of the quilts behind you? You have such a talent for colors! And patterns! And techniques! Oh my! Just subscribed…you are definitely my new favorite!
Hi ! Thank you!! The single star block that is behind me, that fabric is from Northcott. I don't know if it is still being printed. The fabrics I used in the Woven Stars quilt that is behind me, also is an older fabric that is no longer in print. I love bright jewel tone fabrics. I am drawn to them. I collect lots of blenders, tone on tone fabrics. I collect the fabrics and when I am inspired to use them in a project, I go for it! Thank you again, Happy Quilting🙂
I LOVE this quilt so much and saved it on Pinterest. I'm so happy I Googled "Tutorial for Woven Star Quilt" and this video came up. You make it look so do-able! Where can I find the deep, rich prints found in your sample quilt? Was it purchased as a 10" layer cake or yardage?
The fabrics I used are no longer printed. Sorry if you are trying to get the same effect, look for deep Jewel tone colors and use blenders. Hope that helps
I would like to know that too…what fabric is on both of the quilts behind you? You have such a talent for colors! And patterns! And techniques! Oh my! Just subscribed…you are my new favorite!
I no longer have the fabric so that I can check the selvage edge for design information. I believe the fabric line I used was from Caryl Bryer Fallert. That was for Woven Stars. The light background fabric is from Zen Chic Geometry. The single Star block fabric is from Northcott. 🙂
