Survival log N°668: The atmosphere's never been so dread. Most furniture has been broken, i can barely move around without feeling horrible pain, and Isabelle's agonized screams still echo in my head. In the end, Doug could not be contained. I've tried contacting the Rescue Services several times, but something was messing with the radio. That bastard Doug probably did that too, he really thought of everything. There's no food anymore, but that should've been obvious several logs ago. Experiment Horizons was a failure. Goodbye.

I haven't had enough play time to really give you a full review of everything but from the 5 or so hours I have put into the game it's been worth my time and money.

It wasn’t until just recently that I actually tried slowing down and enjoying animal crossing. I got to the part where you needed to raise the islands image to get KK to play there, and Isabelle told me that in order to raise the island rating, I needed to focus on plants, flowers, greenery and stuff like that. So I just went around watering the islands flowers. I actually slowed down while playing this game, and it was so relaxing and fun.
I miss these explained with food videos, they were the best

I regret min maxing in ACNH. I legit turned a third of my island into a pumpkin farm and was making a million bells every day. I dreaded getting on every day and watering them all, but harvest days were worse. Simply watering took all of the joy and peaceful vibes out of the game. Harvesting everything too made it into a slogfest. I kept it for so long that the village was built with it in mind. When I eventually got rid of it, I couldn't stand the huge, empty space in my island, so I just quit. Maybe I should start a new island.

His fur began to grow, he became a raccoon. He suddenly realised the damage he had done, all those villagers where trapped in the island because of him. He became what he swore to destroy. He had to go back, stop it before it was to late, he travelled in time and tried to fix everithing. But he needed help, he abducted a human to help him remake his town.
He then was starved to death by himself.

yes, one might say that that is indeed the joke
DougDoug’s new video, is like a very intense meal. Sure his food is amazing, he makes great dishes that make me laugh, but you almost died. It’s like you go to a restaurant, and Chef DougDoug comes out and he tells you, “We have a ton of dishes and courses for you that are sure to blow your socks off, I have made so much food because I am sure that you will enjoy every last bit of it.” and you go, “This sounds great, I think I will have some of these foods, like this ‘Overwatch Vs. TF2’ meal” and he goes and brings you the food, and comes back out, and it tastes delicious, but the chef is also cracking jokes at your table. It’s so funny and the food is so good that you’re having the time of your life and so you order more food and it tastes just as good as the last, with more jokes. But, the chef updates the menu, and comes out and tells you, “Hey, I just got a brand new shipment of ingredients, and I’ve decided that I’m going to spice things up a bit” and you say “That’s great, and you know what? I am going to try this new meal” and so you eat it but somethings... off. The food still tastes great, and the jokes are still fantastic, but something is a bit intense. And you keep watching these and they progressively get more intense, and you still love the food, and you don’t really have a problem with it, but it would be nice to eat something that was a bit more like his previous meals, more traditional ones. So after eating a pizza with Carolina reaper sauce sprinkled on it you say to the chef, “Hey, I know you wanted to spice things up and whatever, but can I get a more _traditional_ meal?” and Chef DougDoug replies, “Well, you can just re-order a meal from before, so you get that traditional taste” and you say, “I have man, and they’re still delicious, but you make the same jokes and I just want some new meals with some new jokes.” and Chef DougDoug goes into his kitchen without saying a word. And so you leave and come back the next day to see a new menu with a new meal on it, and the chef tells you, “I’ve just made a new meal that’s just like the traditional ones, just for the people who want a more traditional meal, and you say, “That’s perfect, I think I’ll try this new meal” and so you go and order it and the chef comes back with the meal and it’s a big delicious burger, and you take a bite, and it’s insanely good. It’s got his new cooking styles in it, but it doesn’t have any of the intensity. There are new jokes and everything is tasting delicious, and you take the last bite and then Chef DougDoug puts a mask on you and pumps you with Adrenaline and Anesthesia. Sure it’s an interesting experience but you’re really uncomfortable now because now you are trying not to fall asleep so you can hear his jokes and the heart rate is going up just enough to make you extremely uncomfortable. Afterwards, you go, “What the fuck? I just wanted a traditional meal!” And Chef DougDoug goes, “but it was interesting!” And you say, “Sure, it was exciting, but I just wanted a chill meal!” and everyone else just passes it off as, “Classic Chef DougDoug” so you’re forced to go to a restaurant like Olive Garden just for a traditional meal or order an old meal, but Olive Garden doesn’t have good jokes, and those old meals have funny jokes but they’re old and you’ve heard them already. In the end, if you’re looking for a good ol’ fashioned meal go to an IHOP but this is the one place where you can get this specific type of experience, but you have to deal with the intensity.
TL;DR: DougDoug’s new video is cool but weird, so you don’t get same experience as old videos
