- A lot of people asking me how to i adjust my Coilovers Suspension on my Ford Probe. In this video i'll show you the EASIEST WAY on how to lower and raise your car suspension if you're on coilovers !
This works for all kind of Coilovers, i'm using KSport Pro Street, they came with adjustable rear & front camber plates .

Screw driver is better to tighten and loosening it I do it all the time spanner wrench can bend

I just bought some coilovers and installed them myself I haven't had this issue before but why when I lower the coilovers nothing happens ? Car still looks stock I even lowered almost all the way and nothing . Any ideas ? I'm really getting frustrated with this
You need to adjust spring tension on all of them before anything, after that, find the exact height for all of them. You lower and raise the car with thr help of the inner ring on each coilovers, it's everything inside the video, it's very easy, just follow the steps. Cheers

M-ar interesa sa-mi pun pe un golf 4 acest gen de suspensii.
Sa le pot regla pentru sosea cand ma duc la drumuri mai lungi. Dar, si sa pot ridica masina cu vreo 6-7 cm cand ma duc la tara, pe dealuri.
Oare cat de mult se poate ajuta inaltimea la ele ?
Se gasesc la noi de vanzare? Cum sa intreb la magazin ? :)

Salutare, preturile incep de la 300euro pentru niste chinezarii ieftine si urca in jur de 1300-1400euro pentru brand-uri cunoscute si de calitate : KSport, KW, D2 Racing etc.
In functie de pret si calitate, se pot ajusta intre 5-15cm. Nu iti recomand ieftineala, pentru ca ceea ce iti iese ieftin, iti iese intotdeauna mai scump. Nu stiu daca se merita sa dai atatia bani pentru un Golf 4, dar fiecare e liber sa faca ce vrea. Stima

after I got my coils I got a aligment but I want to make it a lil higher will I have to get an aligment again
Well, to be honest, i'm running camber plates front / rear and everytime when i rase my car suspension i get strange wheels noises and the car feel unstable on the road.. so yeah, probably you need to get an aligment
mihai0377 what kind of weird noise are you getting? On mines I get a panging noise when I'm turning the steering wheel left or right. Also an annoying clicking noise on the left side while driving. Can't figure out the problem yet. Lmk if you have a solution. Btw, I found this video helpful and wish I saw this a little earlier. Stripped my thing badly. Wish I saw this method.

The ride is very stiff, but i adjust them this way.. they have a 32 adjustment settings so you can find your own way... cheers
Yes I'd like to know too, this adjusts the height but it does it get softer the higher it goes? Or is that something intrinsic to each type of shock?
@mihai0377 Parca trebuie reindreptat directia dupa asta. Da sau nu? am ksport suspensii si imi este cam frica sa o las mai jos pentru ca am jante de 18 pe ea. E la 2degete jumate fata si 3 in spate si inca e destul de inalta
EzGuard Da, trebuie sa ii faci geometria de fiecare data, la urma o sa calce stramb cauciucurile... Eu nu mai am aceste suspensii, am trecut pe Ksport Air ...
mihai0377 bun. Inainte sa cumpar cheie pentru roata intrebarea este. Are legatura manevrabilitatea ei cu cat de joasa are garda? Adica o sa supra vireze sau ceva dr genu? Eu asa am luat masina si mie frica sa o las din cauza jantelor
EzGuard Depinde ... daca sunt reglabile pe cadere amortizoarele si ii dai camber maxim, atunci da, o sa vezi ca merge cam nasol... daca nu sunt reglabile pe cadere, atunci nu are legatura, poti sa o lasi jos de tot fara probleme... despre ce masina e vorba si ce kit de KSport are ?

I had them on Ford Probe GT, now i have change to AirSuspension same brand, KSport, as i made the bodykit Rocket Bunny to my car and i needed Air... Cheers

Omg! lol lets use this flat head and hammer to lossen the rings!! Make life easy and use a spanner tool made for it.
Hi Bryan, most of the car enthusiasts recommend to tight the ring very good, as it will get lose on the road, your car will bounce like hell and is not safety also !
Well i don't see how tightening with a screwdriver and hammer is tightening very well. Using the spanner tool and very precise to tighten the rings on coil-over, that is why there is grooves for the tool to hold on too. What you are doing could potentially damage the ring rendering it useless, and it is not a very good tightening technique. I would recommend this tool, than your method.

Bryan Feliciano actually the hammer and screwdriver method to loosen the rings make it much easier and sometimes necessary. Oh also yes I have both span hooks, and to the Spongebob character guy the cloth stops chipping to the rings as I've made the mistake once before of not using a cloth. Take notes kid, don't reject them

Please use some ad revenue to buy a spanner wrench. It’s much better than a screwdriver and hammer
I have the spanner wrench, but i can't tighten up as good as with a screwdriver, hammer and towel ! I'm on airbags now !

Okay.... but how much does it lower and raise per 360 rotation? Have you measured and checked how much you actually lower and raise it by whenever you do this? Because as much as this is helpful its not really gonna help anyone if you don't give any measurements because someone could do this and not know how many rotations to do and the wheel will end up hitting the roof of your wheel fender
Bump it is a really quick and easy way to lower it with it still on the car without taking it apart but like he said it doesn’t give you any measurements like how each side is going to really be lowered so it is easy but you don’t know if each side is level
