Lower back PAIN exercise!

  • So much knee/foot/hip and lower back pain is directly and indirectly related to weak glute (butt) muscles.
    We have 6 little muscles in the back of our hip joint that help to stabilize and move the hip. Encouraging these muscles to do their job efficiently is helpful for hip/lower back/knee and foot pain.
    If your body feels comfortable in the start position of this exercise I highly recommend adding it into your warm up routine each day and see the results you experience.
    The key is SLOWLY lowering down the hips towards the mat while keeping nice alignment of your whole spine - including shoulder blades coming down your back and slightly towards your spine. NOTE: don't over due this movement and stick the chest out.
    5-10 reps each side is enough to wake these muscle up and get them working better in your postural system.
