  • In this video Adam teaches you how a big turn can promote longer and straighter drives. Kaden has a phenomenal turn to the top, but can sometimes turn too far which promotes an excessive right to left shot shape. Adam teaches him how to effectively turn to the top in order to hit the driver straighter.

I swear to god this is the best golf instructional channel on the entire internet. How you only have 50k subs is unbelievable. Everything you say makes so much sense whilst breaking it down so that an absolute beginner can grasp is just amazing. I've been having epiphany after epiphany after watching several of your videos and even put some to use in the range the other day and it really did work wonders. DUDE if you ever come to Asia let me know. I'd love to get a lesson from u!

Since discovering this channel I’ve become quickly hooked. Different format than almost all golf instruction on RUclips and packed with so much golf gold.

I love seeing all lung, flexible athletes you teach. But as a seventy something, I’d also love an occasional golfer with restricted flexibility, ie., someone like me. Really like your ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

I would like to see more isolated videos about hitting long irons & fairway woods and as a bonus for us average golfers starting the downswing with your hips it helps shallow the club and it’s a very powerful move for distance & accuracy a lot of us struggle with that consistency…

As a senior golfer, who has only been playing 2 years, I find your videos incredibly instructive. I'm hoping as I implement some of the thought processes, it will translate to my "older" body. I'm assuming the thought process is the same, even if the body flexibility isn't. Thanks again.

Thank you for watching bill! The number one thing an older golfer needs to do is setup correctly to make a big turn easy!!

Great lesson thank you Adam. My swing is improving with your great lessons but just as important is my understanding of the golf swing. I'm not kidding myself, I know I have a long way to go. You explained the cause of flipping in such a succinct way for me. Arms behind has always been a big problem for me.
Keep up the wonderful lessons please😀

    Torque vs Horse Power
More torque gets more distance, hit the ball with intention instead of just slapping the ball with the driver. I’m 5’5” and I can full send it 325 carry. 280 consistently!

@Porzak Golf Hiya, do you have a video that focuses on the transition in the backswing? Namely how far back to take the club and what is the trigger(s) points?
I have a tendency to take clubs too far back. Especially long irons up to driver. I do try to slow down my backswing on these longer clubs. However, I'm just not quite able to get dialed in a point in the backswing to get to a consistent transition point. I suppose this has a lot to do with 'feel'. Though I'm hoping to find something consistent to rely on to initiate the downswing without taking the club too far back.

The club will travel too far and be hard to control if the arms move independently of the bodies turn. If your backsiwbg Gets fast this is also the case. Be sure to have your arms start moving when your body is done turning, be sure to have your body turn your arms to the top and that will give you a consistent big body turn with a short connect armswing.

That hip bump you do for the irons - do you do that for the driver as well?

When watching Kaden's swing from face on, he let's his right knee rotate to the right way too much in my opinion. His kneecap rotates almost 90 degrees with his driver swing and you can see his right foot roll slightly to the out side as a result. This is partly why he is able to make such a big shoulder turn. This is a death move for most golfers, but his athleticism overcomes this. Still, I think he would benefit from trying to keep his right kneecap pointing straight ahead during the backswing. It might restrict his turn slightly, but would develop more true coil, and his weight would stay more on the inside of his right foot.

Adam again I think you need to acknowledge Jimmy Ballard who you took alot of stuff from. I am speaking of stuff like the "brace connected address," the connected golf swing, loading the right side, firing the right side. You will only be a bigger man if you acknowledge coaches, mentors and influencers
