    I was 287 pounds with a 90 resting heartbeat and a average of 165 / 90 blood pressure WITH medications.

It has been 3 and a 1/2 months and I am down in weight from 287 pounds to 228 pounds! My resting heart rate has gone down to 77 beats a minute! My blood pressure has gone down to 120 / 70 and my blood sugar never goes past 100 even when i eat! (Says around 80 while fasting).

    I've been doing OMAD since 2019. There are so many benefits to eating this way. I have learned a lot about my body, nutrition and energy in doing so. I love it and definitely intend to continue this as a lifestyle. I used to think hunger would just get progressively worse and worse until eat, but the opposite happens. I no longer get hungry throughout the day. I've done away with the need to snack and I don't have to be a slave to fast food when traveling. Preparing food is a joy, now. I can put thought into what I eat and eat more deliberately. When I lay out my plate, I can get a total view of what I am putting into my body for the day.

      Yeah but you don't really need medical supervision when you practice any kind Regiment of fasting... the reason you should not get doctors involved who don't understand the concept of fasting because they will tell you to stop. That's the problem with a lot of doctors he want you to be sick they don't want you to practice fasting.. example of a couple years ago there was a video on RUclips from the channel called the doctors there was a guy named Cole who had a very high amount of people who practice fasting and lost over 70 lb. Regardless of all the results these doctors kept saying that fasting is dangerous is dangerous that they should stop it.. the consulate did not listen to the person that was on the podcast they kept saying medical study medical study medical study that fasting is dangerous but they were referring to a study that never published not to mention it was never peer-reviewed about two days ago dr. Eric Berg actually discussed the study how it's completely absurd that people are using this study as an example to say that fasting is dangerous.. if you were to write a paper on fasting and you use that medical study you would get a big fat fail on your paper because that medical study has no information whatsoever all of it is is a abstract with no real scientific data attached to it

    I’m going to make this short and sweet. For years I’ve exercised off and on I would lose a little weight, but once I stopped it would come back. My highest weight was 255 lbs. I’m 6 feet tall. Most people would not have considered me fat they would call me solid. I had 3 ahh moments, first I went to a gym for an evaluation the trainer said losing weight is more about what I eat than exercise, then a couple of years later I went to join a gym closer to home I thought I was in pretty good shape. The trainer had me do a few exercises I felt like I was going to puke up my guts. Then my doctor told me my blood pressure was a little high. These were my wake up calls. I’m not sure how or when I started intermittent fasting, but it was a total game changer. I went from 255 lbs. to maintaining 200 lbs. I notice my body would fight me at 200lbs, my goal was to get to 180, so 2 months ago I decided to cut sugar out of my diet no more cakes and cookies. I’m now down to 180 all of my weight markers are green except for my subcutaneous fat, I may need to get to 175. I would have never thought I could lose my gut (visceral fat) I have. I went from an extra large to a medium. My stamina has never been better. This is my testimony to intermittent fasting. P.S. I remember buying and drinking cartons of orange juice, never drinking soda thinking it was healthier. I’m so glad people can be educated on things that I was ignorant too. Thank you 🙏🏽 😊

I can’t believe how beneficial the fasting has been. Lately i noticed how much sharper my mind it too. I was getting used to being forgetful. Now I’m actually surprised how well I focus multi-task. At 62 this has been like being reborn. Weight is coming off slowly. I have had blood work done and it’s better than ever. I’m fortunate that I didn’t have a lot of issues but the blurred vision is completely gone and I have increased night vision like I did when I was much younger. Thanks for what you provide in these videos. Life saving and life changing.

    Been doing OMAD-Keto for 5-6 days a week for the last 5 weeks. Never crave and rarely hungry, even when I don't get to eat as much as I would like for that one meal. What amazes me is how easily my body adapted. I was off keto for about 7 months eating typical SAD food. When September started I didn't even transition. I went bang into OMAD AND Keto and had no problems at all.

    I find this fascinating the way our bodies expect/learn. I have never felt like eating breakfast, but as you said , people say you must eat breakfast. So I would make myself eat breakfast and would be hungry at work by 9/10 am. Since retiring and learning about fasting and the keto way of eating I never have breakfast and I am not hungry until about 2pm. I have lost about fourteen pounds (I am 140 lbs) and am happy with my weight. I am sixty nine and live in a second floor apartment with stairs, so I have to carry my shopping up two flights of stairs, which I can do, sometimes it makes me a bit breathless but I consider this to be my daily weight bearing exercise. Thank you for all the good information you give.

I still stand by my original comment; it's truly easy to go without food, so easy, in fact, that I wish I never had to eat again! My problem would be SOLVED COMPLETELY! Except then I'd have a different problem, LOL.

I find that I don't get hungry until my usual meal time unless I see or smell food and I know that isn't actual hunger but more like cravings. Out of sight, out of mind is the way to go!! The first time I tried fasting I did a prolonged fast and found I couldn't do anything but sleep. But since then, I've done multiple prolonged fasts and OMAD days and I have plenty of energy!

    • @victoriastroud4820
      @victoriastroud4820 2 года назад +1

      @@davidwasilewski I'll be honest and say that I got off the wagon a bit, but I'm back on OMAD now. I think having something to drink other than water helps. I like diet soda or a cup of hot tea with stevia. Keep your eye on the prize. Look forward to your one meal and incorporate a treat into it maybe. Like tell yourself, if you wait til your designated meal time to eat, you will get a small cookie or something as a reward. And be hard with yourself--if you mess up, you take that reward away. I find having a motivator like that helps me so much. Nothing I'm tempted by during the day seems to be worth losing my nighttime treat. Just figure out a system that works for you. I find it's easiest to wait til evening for my meal, rather than eating first thing or at lunch because eating just makes me want more later. Nighttime is always when I'm having cravings. So pick an eating time that fits you based on when you're most vulnerable to being tempted by food. Keeping yourself busy is important too. It make the time pass faster. I often don't even have hunger pangs unless I'm bored, not busy, or just thinking about food actively. Also, if I eat too late/too much, I will have hunger pangs first thing when I wake up, so I try to avoid that. I think just monitoring how your body reacts and adjusting accordingly is a good strategy. Good luck, it gets easier and easier the more you do it! It's really not that bad. It helps with self-discipline, which we could all use some more of IMO.

    The number of people who tell me "Oh, I could never do that" is astounding. Well of course, you can't go out and eat one meal a day starting tomorrow without preparing for it, any more than you could go out tomorrow and run a marathon if you're a couch potato. I couldn't just do OMAD without an adaptation period (for example 2MAD for a while.) But a lot of people convince themselves that they're different, so they won't even try.

      @@lightbeingpontifex It's both true and false. Each person has different starting point, different self control and will power, and some people are so addicted to sugar they shake when they are without it. I would say majority of people will need to transition into it, but I'm able to jump into it as well like 7 out of 10 times (if I had enough sleep, have not been eating too much carbs etc before).

    I stopped eating sugar in Sept '21, and have lost @ 30#, and near my HS weight of 141# at 56 yo. At 18:00 you mention less hunger when doing OMAD, and I agree. I'm eating more calories in that one meal, just to ensure I get enough nutrients, otherwise I'm forcing myself to eat twice. It's pretty amazing.

      How is it going? I'm same height as youbut sitting at 97 kg at the moment. I do OMAD but not a very healthy keto. I can't figure out what's happening with my fatigue. Had it before as well. So realised by 3 pmu energy levels drop a lot. I tend to eat my OMAD between 5 to 8 pm due to work schedule that's when I finish. I do have a kidney condition discovered accidentaly 23 years ago, I'm 43 right now with my left kidney having some cysts, right one is fine but my my Vit D and B12 can be low many times. I drink only one coffee a day. I might have burned in the past my adrenal glands with stress and coffee twice a day. I will do a full panel of test vitamin and minerals soon.

    I had developed severe eczema in my 2 fingers on each hand for the last three years. I even lost the sense of touch at the tips (they felt very hard) with skin peeling off and sometimes affected the underside of the nails. Horrendous to look at. I was told it was autoimmune and tried all kind of medication/ointments and problem was becoming better, but appeared again inflamed after a while. I was doing low carb but in the last 2 months I am trying OMAD in parallel. Among other benefits I have seen amazing results I could not even believe. The skin was completely repaired and eczema was completely gone, all without medication. My fingers look and feel normal again!

      I did it for a month. I was 53kg at first, with OMAD for a month, I lost 3 and half kilo and my weight dropped to 50kg. It was indeed hard at first but gradually my body accepted it. I am not overweight, so a month was enough for me. Now I just do two meals a day to maintain the weight (with that I lost 1 kg and my current weight is 49). You can do it. You are in control of your body. 💪
      P.s. I did some cardio as well.
