    Base on my experience in how to treat and using quarantine method of treatment to severe ICH problem that causes my ranchu to bleed on gills, pins, back and tail.
    with the help of Garlic and Salt the natural medicine :)
    Hope in this video may help other hobbyist to deal with this problem :)

    thank you. I also boiled the water. It helps for fast cure. You may also leave the fish in the boiling water for better results

      I just have a question about my Ranchu fish sir, It's color is orange but it has (Black spots) on its tails scales. Is it related to the Red spots on the video sir?

      @@josejaymigabon8470 looks like black but its blood created by the ich on the scales and tails if u see bloody scale like what u saw on this video, it means that the ich is severely attacking the fish :( and by the way, what kind of black spots that ur fish had> ?? can u send me link of photos? maybe fungi? some goldfish is molting sometimes :) orange to black and black to orange

      I have just noticed that my fishes tail is blood streaked threw out instead of a white I don’t know if I should quarantine just him or do the whole tank thank you for this video if you see this and have a suggestion please comment back :)

    Oh, this is interesting, as I always peel the garlic and crush it with a punch, so it releases oils like allicin. Nice informative video!

    My shubunkin has many red color covering its body, around gills, fins, body, and head, even when i keep treating it aqarium salt and jungle ick clear tabs, my shubunkin also have ick too. The red is rapidly growing fast for my fish, what do i do?

      please try to separate them so you can monitor individually :( try to put them in a small and shallow container or aquarium so you can easily change the water from time to time :(

    I have been trying this method to cure my goldfish for 3 days bt whenever i stop giving her garlic ....my goldfish condition again becomes worse her red marks also comes back what to do
    Also my goldfish is gasping for air and comes above the water
    Rubbing her face against aquarium walls

      Gasping air is prob cuz lack of oxygen in the tank

    Ano pong water nilalagay mo tuwing mag replace? Pwede ba fresh water from nawasa?or stock water gamit mo tuwing replace?

      Age water po nag lalaan po ako sa isang drum ng tubig, nawasa tapus mga ilang days na naka kalma ang tubig yun ang gina gamit ko po sa pang araw araw sa mga isda po, kahit sa mga guppy ko po at tetras :)

      Each time you change the water, you can add salt, but the volume of salt decreases., sorry for the late reply :(

      sorry for late reply, what kind of lost>? losing scale maybe of physical damage from environment? or many missing scales? try fixing the water quality maybe some aqua decors can harm ur fishes :(

    Can I use Rock salt with 2 mg of iodine in it per 1000 grams. Just a trace of iodine

      yeah its ok, because rock salts is low in iodine, but if u have a table salt use it instead :) because table salt usually contains iodine :)

      No, just old water, give it three days to cool down.

    may i ask, it is effective in any kind of goldfish or just on ranchu only, & it can goldfish be together in one tank to do this process?

      any goldfish, but in small fish like guppies i used little or reduced the amount of salt

    I need some help.
    I have a fish pond outside with 5 common goldfish and 5 shubunkin goldfish. The common goldfish which I bought recently have white spot. It is not on any of the other fish. Why do you think that only the common goldfish have it? Should I separate them? Please help, what should I do!

      yes, always remember the first step "ISOLATE" maybe the water of the common goldfish which u recently bought have eggs of parasites :( after u isolate the infected, try cleaning or change the water of the pond, and try to monitor ur shubunkin hoping that they are still in good condition :( thanks for the comment bro, sorry for the late reply, got busy lately :(

      Yeah but u can use less salt and less or tiny garlic bulb instead :)

      yes because ICH is also called a white spot disease :) because ICH is the most common problem of our fishes :(

      Yes, but just a few tiny pieces of garlic, perhaps two or three, will do in your betta tank.

      No please use aquarium salt or rock salt not iodised salt! its toxic for fish

    I prefer to smash and add a small portion of the garlic, it will work faster that way.

    A decent video except for the quarantining, If one fish in the tank shows ICK then the parasite is in the tank; water, filters, substrate etc & you need to treat the whole tank! Most tanks have ICK in them, you don't see it until it represents on sick/stressed fish.

      you have to monitor the water every now and then, don't let the water to be cloudy, but for me i changed the water every 3-4 hours but if the water gets cloudy u have to change it right away- thanks for the comment brother and sorry for the late reply

      I'm not sure about tumors on fishes, but every time my goldfish got sick Garlic is my first aid and i used water therapy method i frequently change the water of the quarantine fish, i wish i had a free time to do another video for fish tail problems :(

      bad to hear that bro, argulus bad lice it can spread rapidly, try to use salt , do not use methyline blue, it's useless against the argulus, try to use Salt or Melafix, if u go to salt it's cheaper and organic :) btw, if u buy new fish do not mix it with the old fishes, to prevent spreading of diseases.

    that's not an ICH, those blood patches are from Ammonia burns. your fish is having an ammonia poisoning symptoms

      the truth is i always putting bulb of garlic every time i change the water on my tank even my fish is healthy, but i remove the garlic after an hour of submerging the garlic :) funny hehehe but it helps my fish to have higher immune system and also put a salt on new water change tank to prevent the creation of bad bacteria on the water :)

      use it overnight or 12hours because if u use it longer, may hurt or maybe burn the soft tissue of the fish :)
