Exactly what I got on here to say! Talk to Daniel about his mulcher. Yes,he has to have bigger trees taken down by a bulldozer, but it doesn’t get bound up.
My thinking is - it shouldn’t be called a “mulcher” if it’s not able to mulch. It should be called a battering ram.

Hello, you made great progress. Looking good. Love when Adler is on the videos, he always comes up with cute responses. Chain saw would have done a better job rather than what you used.
If something you're renting isn't doing its job properly, you have every right to complain and get compensation for the money you wasted on it. Glad to see the company is making it right for you. You have a lot of honorable companies in the area.
In my opinion, for what its worth, is that your followers depend on you giving your honest assessment of the equipment you use/rent/own, whatever. If that piece of machinery feels like it is too rough, we want to know that. could be you find out its too dull, or maybe its not, but when my husband watches, he appreciates your assessment, and he is 72 and grew up on ranches/farms in Oregon.
I appreciate it because I'm not savvy about equipment. Now that I'm widowed, I have to do more on my property. So it's good to see what's needed.
Personally, I think it’s the wrong machine for the job. Daniel forestry mulcher looks a little different in the front.

Chad, I watch Outdoors with Eric. He cuts lawn and mulches brush. He has a mulcher on the back of his Kubota tractor.
Erik uses the Baumalight PTO mulcher. It works great on smaller trees, but not on anything larger than 5 to 6 inches in diameter. The mulch is not as finely chopped, like a larger drum mulcher should get you. However, it still does a better job than what Chad was using in this video. I'm glad Chad's getting his money back. I don't know if anyone close by rents out a skidsteer with a TMC Cancela mulching head nearby, but those mulchers are beasts.

The Tree reaper (couldn't remember what he called it)Daniel uses to clear smaller trees and brush and it seems to mulch everything way better than what they rented you. I could definitely see a difference but that doesn't seem like it's mulching much of anything. Prayers for the entire Doss fam 🙏💞🙏
Why would anyone cut the ends of the horns off their cows ? The man i take care of has about 40 head and some are Longhorns and his nephew has cut their horns halfway off. Makes me sick to look at them...I think how cruel can you be.. I love the land and the way the cows can come almost in your backyard. Chad, I think you need a rotary cutter...not that type....2 videos back. Arms family homestead ... Daniel, he cut all those cedar seemed pretty easy. Or maybe that's too extreme, but maybe something close to it.

The teeth on there are not meant for chipping the ones you need are shaped like chisels.
Was going to mention “Outlaw” that mulched Jason Crocker’s land. His equipment just ate up and mulched his trees. Think you are right saying something might not be working properly.
A rake would help with the clean up of the debris! Retired Ralph’s Emporium has his loan out to Kyle!
Watchng Daniel Arms with his disc mulcher is somehow therapeutic. Your mulcher is definitely giving the tree stumps an interesting "hairstyle". Some remind me of Beaker from the Muppets.

Ask them what is going wrong with it , if it's supposed to mulch why is it not doing it 😔 You are paying good money for something that is not acting as it should be doing. Chad, watch "outdoors with Erik" he has a machine on his tractor - one end has a grappler and the other side has a piece that knocks down trees, mulches everything and even takes down stumps. It's amazing!
Each cow will drink around 8 gallons a day in heat of summer it’s more 10 gal a day. The nursing mother need mom food .

Just my opinion ... If this is an example of the quality of equipment being offered by "XYZ" Rental Company... Then I believe I wouldn't rent a drain cleaner from them. Some of those carbide inserts appeared to be severely chipped ...
I agree with you, something is NOT right. I'd complain too! Those are dull teeth! For the amount of money you're paying for rent, equipment should be in top preforming shape...which this machine is not !! Hopefully this gets resolved fairly and quickly.

Like you have said many times, with the right equipment, the job gets done. It does not look like the right equipment for the job. Bad teeth, wrong teeth, wrong type equipment, I don't know. When I rented a commercial mulcher it looked like large mulch pieces ready for a garden, and was quick.
Call Danial Arms he can let you know what you need for this job ,his chews the little trees laying down and mulching the leaves .🙏🙏❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸

It becomes fertilizer, food for bugs, dung beetles and a source of chicken food from the fly larvae and bugs and undigested grain.😮😊😂 The birds scatter it, the animals spread it and boots kick it! Eventually it dries out and returns to the soil. It's a pasture not a front yard.😅
In the rental company's defense. They may not know that the blades are dull. Most of the time if you call & let them know they will fix the problem. I know they have for us. Good luck & GOD Bless all of Y'all from middle Ga.

I could see the clearing you have done and it has really opened things up. I'm sure you will get the machines you need to get the job done. One thing about what you have cleared so far you have an abundance of firewood. Do you still have that log splitting machine? All the cattle look great and happy. I look farword to the next video to what more you have cleared. Take care & God Bless!
Also Chad you need to remember that the working part of the drum is on the back side not the front side. If you are trying to grind a stump down move forward so the head of the stump is in the back side of the drum just ahead of the chain and move your grinding head to the down position and it will grind it down. If you try to use the front side it will be the living daylight side of you bouncing off and leaving that shattered nub that you're looking at.
Also keep your RPMs up Don't let your RPMs wind down too far and you will not have as much problems with your drum plugging up and stopping
Great work despite the equipment not working top notch considering the rental cost. Praying the rental company makes this right and provides better equipment for you along with a credit back to you, or another company or manufacturer provides a better deal. 🙏
Pile,limbs up and put chipper attachment on your tractor chip limbs onto a tarp and use tractor loader to spread chips. Remember nitrogen deprivation…might want to put nitrogen down like chicken droppings rabbit food or alfalfa hay down then cover with wood chips.

Question, maybe you can find out from Kylie, can you freeze brand cows like they do horses, or is fire branding the only acceptable way? I know they freezebrand standard bred and mustangs, and a few other breeds
It looks like that mulcher needs some new blades. Let's dig18 has a mulcher just like the one you have rented and he literally grinds up a whole trees like nothing. That rental place needs do do some maintenance on their equipment. Love your videos.

I like your videos. The first thing I had to learn being surrounded by generational farms and ranches is that they weren't built in a day. It may be good to turn those trees you pushed over into lumber. Also marking the stumps before the grinder gets there may help.
Did you talk to Daniel Arm? He has a disc that really munches. It really munches really good. Maybe you saw that if you watched his recent videos.
I think you need a forestry mulcher.
Doss farms and Arms family are my two fav channels to watch.Theres definitely something wrong with the mulcher.
I've seen others using a machine that looks like it's cutting through butter. You don't have the right one. 'Sow the Land' had one that did the job.
The machine is NOT doing what you are paying for it to do. A half a job is not ideal. I totally understand where you are coming from. Good luck and I hope you will get the machine you thought you were paying for🤗🤗💞💞💙💙

Arms Family uses the disc mulcher, not the one you have. That is why he can demolish what he does. just FYI.

I would suggest to you that you look up what new or sharp carbide teeth look like I think you will find your problem.
Honestly it's not worth the money. THE brush needs to be flat and mulched not trimmed take it back
I just saw the same mess on the side of the road in our town. It looks terrible. The town did it and every tree looks exactly like that! You can tell the difference when you see where they cut the trees on the side of the Interstate road clean and neat not chewed up and messy. You’re right to question that ❤

Disk munchers are better at trees, drums are good for small trees, suckers and brush. It still might not be a smooth ride but it will do the job.
