  • This is a review of the performance and my feelings of ownership for a DTG machine. This is based on 1 year of use. The machine is an Epson F2100 and the Mister T-1 Pretreat machine. For the record, I also have a Stahl's heat press.

Great review! It’s sad that truthful videos like this don’t get the attention they deserve. Most RUclipsrs prey on what people want to hear vs facts.

Great addition for the right shop but Im still waiting for the tech and the process to evolve more. One day it will largely replace traditional screen printing... but it isn't there yet. Long ways to go. Ive owned my shop for 14 years now and I would love to replace the old way with the new way eventually. Just isn't feesable yet. Too many things DTG can't do yet and putting one shirt on 3 machines numerous times is a bit much. Gotta love the print quality though. Limiltess color and high res with the push of a button. Awesome. No more dark room, no more screens. In the end, with an easier, quicker process, and no limatations concerning certain fabrics ... this will conquer the industry.

Pretreat them in bulk before hand - mate.I dont think we need dtg but we already have most of the equipment that he mentioned here for the process that we use. We are now looking to print full garments and sew them.
As long as you can get this printer to use 3rd party high quality inks - you are golden. THE ONLY PROBLEM is the ink cost in most of these printers. But I understand the mans frustration - the white ink circulation constantly throwing your money away... :-))))) I would probably use it to print only white / light colour garments except if I find a cheap way of buying ink....
