Hey bud, I am GTX tech and happened to come across this video and I just wanted to help out.. I would recommend trimming your waste ink hose, so it is not submerged in the waste ink.. this causes back pressure similar to holding water in a straw with your thumb.. and does not allow the waste ink to flow down from the maintenance station to the waste ink tank; eventually overflowing and dripping into electrical sensors. I would also recommend that you should switch your humidifiers to the Vornado e-vap 40.. The kind you are using in this video will cause your internals to eventually rust.
What an amazing review. I am actually in the middle of deciding between the two and this is the best most unbiased review I have come across. I think I will go with the Epson because my production is low and also the Epson machine is cheaper by almost $5k. I haven't heard enough pros for brother to pay 5k more for the machine. Thanks a lot.
I just thought that your problem is not about GTX, it's about your budget. If you can accept a lot of hidden costs, then buy the Epson. I'm much tired of Epson for this reason.
Could you please advise me on which one I should choose between the recently released Epson SC-F2230 and the Brother GTX, as they are about the same price?

@07Review i dont get the chance to try F22 yet so cant comment much. I would say color wise Brother has more vibrancy and of course its higher in maintenance cost. Features i prefer Brother. Not sure if F22 have many improvements.
Hi my friend, good videos thanks for share your knowledges. I have questions for you, do you use epson original inks? I want to try use refil cartridges do you recommend or not? the another one question is about if you consider for best results and more easy and fast steps use DTF instead of DTG?

You're doing great videos, thank you for the insights and information. What do you think, a volume of 300-500 prints per month is too low to consider buying a GTX?
@@amedionteo Thank you for your reply! My biggest concern however and what has stopped me from purchasing a DTG printer is the fact that it basically has to run constantly in order to prevent clogging of the print head, right? Thx for this valuable video man. Just one question, At the end you mentionned that U turned off the tools for 2 months and no issues at all, both of the printer Epson and GTX turned off right?
@@AlistairOwensgooglePlus sharpness the same. Artwork detail depends. Epson can bring out more on yellow side and Brother on other colors. Overall Brother print out more vibrant so it looks more attractive then Epson dull colors.
We have limited brands in Malaysia. They're either expensive or stock shortage so we use Gildan only. No idea on Bella Canvas and Next Level. Cant' answer. Sorry.
I am a screen printer in NC. I use most of the time BELLA CANVAS for their color options, fit and soft feel of the shirt. I have also used Next level and they are good quality as well; both of those are a little more expensive than other brands but still not as expensive as American Apparel. But if you are going for economy or basic quality shirts Gildan / ALSTYLE are the better option. Hope this helps.

For me the make or break decision to choose from either is the print size 🤔 I wish these things printed a little bigger
