    I'm 6'4" tall. After sitting in about 12 compact and subcompact SUVs, this has the best headroom and legroom of all of them, front and back seats (without sunroof for a few extra inches). Also has near the best highest gas mileage of them all too despite having incredible cargo volume. Was a clear winner for my needs when I got in.

    • @MrPaleorific
      @MrPaleorific Год назад

      Thanks for this comment. I'm also 6'4". I thought I wanted a RAV4, and I've been trying them out and can barely fit in one if it has a moonroof. It's a little better if it's a panoramic moonroof, like on an XSE, but those are few and far between. But if it has the regular moonroof I can not lower the seat enough to give me enough headroom. I don't really need a moonroof but it's annoying because they don't make very many RAV4 XLEs without it. I just got into a Rogue today rented while my car is being repaired, and wow, plenty of headroom. Now I just have to get my head around going with a non-hybrid and getting way less than 40mpg and I'm all in.

      I'm glad someone else feels the same way. I'm a similar height and I ordered the Rogue myself. My head kept brushing against every other mid-size (or even full-size) SUV that I tried. Also, the rear view mirror was so low, it'd block my view of the road. Huge winner for me.

  • @ofcbob6391

    One big reason I chose Rogue over RAV4 and Forester and Equinox is that Rogue is the -only- vehicle I tested that did not make you push a button to turn off the "wonderful feature" where the engine dies at stop lights and stop signs! With Rogue there is no button to push every time you get in your car....because it doesn't have that nuisance feature. I drive in ECO mode and I've had it 11 months and get 30 mpg, so it doesn't need that stupid feature to save gas.

      @@Psychogenicscc They followed the design of the horrendous Juke by separating those DRLs and headlights. The Pathfinder is a perfect example of how they could've went about it, the Pathfinder is also separated but touches at each end. All things considered, you'll get used to it after owning it for a few weeks. Blacking out the grille helps with the front facia in my opinion.

    2023 Rogue-Do not recommend! Gas smell inside cabin and outside of car. The smell did not start right away but was noticeable after about 2000 miles. Took the Rogue to Nissan dealership, and they said Nissan is aware of the issue and that the Rogue is under Engineering Review. Nissan dealership said they checked for gas leaks to make sure there was no safety problem, but that there was nothing else to do until Nissan issues a recall or figures out a fix for wherever the gas is leaking. Dealership said I had to be able to visually see leak and not just smell gasoline for them to do more. I hope I can trust that my Rogue is actually safe while we wait on this fix. Another point is gas mileage is way below window sticker estimate. I stay in the mid 20s for gas mileage even though I drive on Eco. Disappointing to have a brand new Nissan with no fix. I would not recommend for anyone else to buy a 2023 Rogue until they have a fix unless you want to be stuck with no loaner car while yours is in the service department not getting fixed.

    • @tomtalker2000
      @tomtalker2000 Год назад +4

      You probably have a problem with the gas tank itself. There is a recall out for it being susceptible to punctures. And their is a fix for it i'd check with your dealer because it can be a fire hazard risk.

If you want to review a vehicle, investigate the vehicles past issues/problems and tell potential buyers what the company has done to correct them.
