I really wish we'd see version 2.0 of the Labor MG's and maybe more Patlabor kits, like an MG Type Zero. Hell I'd love for more Patlabor stuff, I'm just sad the live-action series flopped, but then again it's kind of expected.
My first ever Bandai model kit was the MG Ingram 2 re-release with the lights. I was in 4th or 5th grade when I built it. Before that, I've only ever built a Bomberman model kit that was marketed to kids my age.
Thanks for this video! I recently tracked down the LED "Patlamp" version and can confirm that the build feels like and uphill battle. But all things considered I loved it a lot and I even added more lights! I coped with the limited articulation by displaying it in a "power pose" and am currently making a "crime scene on a rainy night" diorama.
So patlabor came out with 1/60 scale kits back in like the late 90s. But they're not the same size as gundam 1/60s. They're a little bit smaller than these master grades. Does anyone know why? The scaling for patlabor seems backwards
You need to understand how scaling works. Something labeled 1/60 scale won't have same size, it depends on the subject matter. If a Gundam is around 18 meters and Patlabor units are 8 meters (less than half of a gundam) in their respective settings, how do you expect them to have same size in same scale?
Hi, can you please give the link to the recommendation you mentioned that is better off getting the 'robot....' the last word spoken wasn't clear to me. 😅 Thanks.
I was wondering about the decals and if you used a setting solution like Micro Set/Micro Sol would they have worked better? Most modelers try to get a gloss surface to apply decals on. Even though you gave this kit a low score I still went and bought it as I just like the looks of this mech holding a revolver or a shotgun.
I did use a little just to try and help get them to stay in place a little better, but it really didn't help much. If I ever were to buy another MG Ingram, I'd probably by the regular release, apply the decals, then add the gloss topcoat over top. It would probably go much better.
Bandai make and made a lot of kits. They made even Star Trek series a decade ago. For Master Grade brand I can remember Patlabor and Evangelion, but they are not making Patlabor anymore. Gundam is more popular and sell way more that's others, that's why they focus more in Gundam.
Thanks for watching!

I love Patlabor, but I can't find the Robot Damashii figure so I think I'll pick one of these guys up and replace the rubber tubing with actual cloth
That sounds cool, best of luck!
Nice vid as usual redhead, Still waiting for the Mg nu ver. Ka review tho.
I just bought the kit and it seems like a challenging kit too, FINALLY A WORTHY OPPONENT 💥💥💥🔥🔥💥🔥
Folks might not have noticed but the armored ingram 2/3 came with different head unit for the ingram 3 and it have 2 modes normal and open up.
Thanks, was thinking about getting one since I've done a bunch of MGs and two PGs. Still might get the blinky light version.
Kinda looks like a police model Jesta
Ground type Jegan or Primitive Jegan lol
Do you have an alt account named RedEarphones where instead of MGs, u review HGs?
I'm tempted to get one of these and replace the rubber with actual cloth

It's because it's a scale. The mechs are just smaller in universe than Gundams

lololollll
These kits need to be revived
Nice... very old experimental MG kit lol...

Thanks.
It's the "Robot Damashii" figure. It's a line of pre-made figures.
My Ingram 2 have the same issue like yours, also have an easy-broke head cover and a fcuking stupid no Color separation eye mask

👍
didnt know they actually made non gundam MG
they made a mg kamen rider kit
Are the kamen rider kits any good?
I've heard they're very sticker heavy
@@haydenandersen9937 i think that is the only thing wrong with lamen rider kits, the stickers are horrible but other than that they are good kits

rubber makes me nervous... shit is going to degrade
Awesome
When the FBI watch some anime
This kit sucks and it's definitely not worth the price. Sure, you can paint it but the proportions still look bad.
