    Good luck with your lab! I was in Des Moines for Thanksgiving last week - I should have stopped by. I'm considering buying a Modix big 60 to prototype body panels for agricultural machinery.

    Nice setup... lots of potential! I finally got our Big-60 running - just printed out my first benchy! Looking forward to the video about your mods that you made to yours. Did you add some gcode for a purge/wipe before starting the prints? I found that it didn't really start printing well until after the first layer.

      Thanks, and congratulations on getting your Big60 up and running! Yes, I always use a skirt. Usually about 3 outlines on the skirt, and typically about 4-5mm offset from the main part itself. That helps a lot to get things flowing properly before starting to print the actual part itself. Hopefully that helps!
