Every car in the field has luck every race, it may be good luck or it may be bad luck.
It’s not Larson’s fault that Kesowlowski gambled and lost, and lost on bad luck in timing. It’s also not his fault that nascars rule is the line moves up.
Brad could’ve pitted on the previous lap but he had made his bed, trying to make it, unfortunately something happened on that last caution lap for Brad to go to pits as field was coming to the green.

Agree with Dale 110% on the call not to throw the caution. Don't know why no one is talking about where the car that causes the caution is. When the car spinning is in the back of the field and has no impact on the leaders or the race, the caution should not be thrown. If it's a short track, the spinning car likely has a direct impact on the leaders or at least someone in touch with the leaders. In this case it was an irrelevant car and therefore shouldn't interrupt the story of the race at that point.

Denny at Pocono ring a bell anyone?? Denny jumping the start at Nashville?? I also think it is extremely disrespectful to Kyle to imply that NASCAR "gave" him the race.
Also, name another major sports league that there are NOT controversial calls?? I don't like the inconsistencies either, but do you really want NASCAR calling even more penalties? To me, this is what it comes down to...if they threw the caution and Preece started moving, people would be mad at that..."NASCAR manipulated the ending" can go either way. The Cindric spin at Nashville is different because there is traffic all around the track. At Indy, they were all in a group just after the restart. That's a bad example as are any similar to it. It is true that sometimes they're trigger happy and other times they seem to want to wait. Now, it's not the same situation every time so we have to have some leeway on how we judge it, but generally speaking, I want NASCAR to give drivers every chance to get out of the way so they don't have to throw a caution and I don't want cautions thrown becuse someone is out of the groove or just brushes the wall. Indy, to me, was a toss up. They gave Preece every chance to move and he couldn't; they waited as long as they could, which I liked, but once they got to turn one, and into the short chute, they had to throw it. That wasn't the case when they were back in turn 4.

I am a Blaney fan and I can see both sides. I can definitely understand why Blaney feels he got screwed by the situation and Larson benefited greatly from the situation, and as a fan of his, I felt pissed off as well seeing the win slip away because of things out of his control. Plus the chaos of the timing right as they’re coming to the green definitely impacted the control car part of it and it seems like Larson either went first or they went around the same moment, and I bet neither guy knew 100% who was control car.
I also agree that I don’t think NASCAR or Keselowski technically did anything wrong and the rules were followed. I don’t think anything else could have been done and it was handled properly in my mind. It was just a super unfortunate timing for Blaney and went against him since the inside line is so much better.
Last thing, Blaney and I (as a fan) can be annoyed at keselowski and NASCAR for the situation, even if they did nothing wrong. Both things are allowed to be true. Blaney got screwed by the situation but that doesn’t mean there’s some conspiracy going on

I’m a Larson fan and although I’m glad nascar didn’t call a caution, nascar shouldn’t do that. They knew Preece wasn’t gonna make it before the white flag.
Teams put themselves in that situation and NASCAR shouldn’t be helping no team on the track. If that’s why they didn’t, to prevent several teams from having a bad day, then that’s not fair.

Is it possible for the track to get at least the possibility that when the rubber gets worked in to the track and the chance of being able to actually pass a car at least have a chance for the car to find enough grip to make a pass or get loose in the turn so at least there's a possibility to get by a car for the lead. Cars were able to pass further back in line. I don't know if it's true but on Denny's show he said that there was not a pass for the lead on the track the entire race. Either way if I got the chance to attend the brickyard 400 I will have an experience of my lifetime. What was really sad is that the Xfinity series race was way more entertaining

    - The biggest problem is the "Overtime" rule on the first place. It shouldn't exist. You have a scheduled distance and you run that distance. Brad Keselowski should have been the winner.
    - I might be wrong, i don't have the data, but that restart i don't think Larson jumped the start. When NASCAR released the data from Richmond this year, it was proved that Denny didn't jumped the start. Would be good to see now.
    - I think NASCAR handled the final yellow flag well in a good way. In previous race people complained that we had too many overtimes, now that they made a sensible decision people complained too. And i agree with Dale, it was mostly because of the size of the track and how the cars race there. If it was a super speedway with everyone bunched up they probably would have call differently... or not. Denny won a race in Pocono in this same way so i don't think they are taking favorites to the #5 car.
