- Join me for a wander over the hauntingly beautiful Tarr Steps clapper bridge over the River Barle on Exmoor.
A mix of beautiful video with a stills slide show capture the atmosphere of a 'must see' place.

I was there in September Chris, did the circular river walk with the dogs. A really beautiful place.
You’ve captured the Steps wonderfully, love the long exposure shots of the river Barle.
Have to say Roger, like you I find it a magical place to walk - whatever the weather - in fact inclement conditions seem to help 😊
Very pleased you like the pics and I’ll try to put some on my website later - Cheers 🥂
Great video and shots again Chris.
Thanks loads Lyn - have wanted to do this one for a while 👍
Nicely shot and some lovely stills Chris, next time you should try a fly under with the drone😅
Ha ha 😜 that’s the most sensible suggestion I’ve had this week 😂😂😂
Might do it with an FPV (which I haven’t got)
However, many thanks for your kind words - really appreciated 🙏🙏🙏😊 Cheers 🥂 , Chris
Once again the combination of the photography and the music is Absolutely Fantastic !!! Brings a tear to my eye. Well Done 👍
Great thoughts Les - hope tears of happiness 😊 more vids soon 👌 Cheers 🥂 , Chris
Hi Chris. Always tears of happiness with your videos. Really appreciate your efforts. Thanks 😊
Gorgeous bridge. If you want to see a rare clapper still standing in America look up Skim Milk Bridge on the Town River in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Historians aren’t sure who built it or exact date of construction (it’s at least pre-1820). Logical guess is Scottish farmers or English colonists in the area brought the design over. There is currently a push to have it listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Really interesting and I’ll check it out 👍 thanks for taking the time to pass on your thoughts 😊
