Hopefully Acura makes 2 versions of thie car: 1. A track version (in the video seen here) that is a 100% track car. 2. A street version that gives a subtle wing spoiler that matches and fits the body of the car, remove the x-brace in exchange for 2 more HRC Recaro bucket seats for the backseats that matches the same seats in the front HRC Recaro bucket seats, and everything else added standard as part of the car: the wider front grille, the larger HRC intercooler, the new front hood, the 6-piston calipers, the new wheels, the front lip and side skirts, the yellow trim rings around the HVAC, and put the A/C back in the car.
Could more than likely just order the parts in and have the dealership install them so it doesn’t void warranty. That’s what I did with my RAM 1500 warlock
I own a type s. I think the parts will be available as upgrades and a limited vehicle release with one or two colors and no more than 2k units similar to the type r.
I’m thinking Acura is going to offer this for sale since they refer to an A/C delete option. In my mind that’s a factory built option. My only hope is it’s built at the PMC facility where the NSX was built. The Marysville plant build quality is terrible on my Type S.
I hope the 2026 regular type s introduces new colors especially this beautiful yellow! Also, wishing thinking, but add a brown interior option especially with the red exterior paint option.
Dealerships are gonna jack this price to the moon... Neat ride- the wing won't be for everyone... but that's OK! Sorry I didn't get to meet ya before ya moved tho - hope it all went smooth!
Hopefully when this car is available at the dealer, we are in another recession just like when Honda offer the S2000 CR in 2008. I can pick one up with MSRP.
@@Daveyboy_RS3 Well, it is shocking. I think what you're trying to say is that these prices and dealership behavior should not be tolerated or normalized. Acura just doesn't know how to run their company anymore. They need to cut vehicle prices by 30%, otherwise the price racket they're currently in competes with competition leagues ahead of what they're offering.
Gee I wonder how much this is gonna cost... An extra $10-20k for a slight tune, prob 100lbs weight reduction, and suspension changes? LMAO.. If this is $70K+ I just cannot support Honda/Acura anymore... $60k for a FWD turbo Honda was already absurd.
@@DrivenDistrict lmao... yeah its not that I dont like the cars, its that I HATE what Honda is charging... For me, $55,000-$60,000 is just not a FWD 4-cylinder... never will be(unless its some crazy custom race car or something).. But even K24 Lotus' are RWD if I am not mistaken.
@@veedee4860 For real, Ill stick to my old Honda's!.. sadly tho, my 08' AP2 S2000 CR is getting so valuable, Im kinda scared to drive it. I have an all original em1 Si, EK Hatch, and 2 RSX Type-S(03 and an 06).. So I get plenty of options to get my by until I die! XD
I agree it is definitely over priced. But i believe its going to be way more than just a "slight tune". A larger intercooler, dual oil coolers and a different exhaust definitely is alreadu beyonf a slight tune. It is 200lbs weight reduction, it got bigger brakes and a track adjustable suspension. To talk like the upgrades are minimal is disingenuous.
No Integras in the US had AWD. If you want AWD, get the TLX Type S, the IS 350 F Sport AWD, Genesis G70, BMW M340i XDrive, any Audi, any Mercedes-Benz/Mercedes-AMG, etc...
More 4 door sedans by Honda. I'm crossing over to Toyota when they bring back the coupes: MR2 and Celica. Honda needs to understand a lot of us like 2 door sport coupes.

I have a type s, man I'm hoping Acura comes out with a package deal to add it to the type s.
For real bro 🙏🏽

The nsx is built at Marysville. Aka, the pmc factory.
Man this thing looks really good

All they did for 2025 was get rid of tiger eye pearl and msrp increase lol
This thing looks sick...but i can't even imagine what the price will be. Those Recaro Podium front seats are close to 5k each by themselves!
Wow I would really love to see but hrc in production to sell to public

It'll be 100k, you just watch
@@derekbrackett1622 I agree - or close to it
Thinking this would be a factory opinion. Definitely will be toned down imo, but still exciting. Hoping it won't be out of reach for most customers
74k USD, 100K CAD. Limited to 200 models, and will become the new FWD King of the Nurburgring
I need it
Do you like the stereo in your type S?
Hopefully when this car is available at the dealer, we are in another recession just like when Honda offer the S2000 CR in 2008.
I can pick one up with MSRP.
That'll be clutch for whatever car people want
I love the Type S But if this thing ends up in the '60s... That puts it in c8 Vette territory. Try and wrap your head around that
This will easily be 80K with dealer markups.
@@prodnxbu should be shocking... But it isn't in today's day and age. Smh

You're the minority.
The more parts are moved, the higher the costs. Doesn't make any fucken sense.
They should've made it awd
wouldn’t be surprised if they make this $80k+ lmao
This will be at the crusher soon 😂
I don't need to know anything about it. I already know its FWD still and overpriced lol. Two things that make me never to be interested in it.
🤷♂️ Seems like the wrong video to click then 😂 Thanks for the engagement 👍
Thanks for chirping in. Fly away now little birdy
The HRC emblem is ugly.
It’s a civic integra acura honda racing lol
Brown James Lee Lisa Robinson Jason
Already overpriced. We want a coupe. we want awd
Honda Racng Corporation badges on an “acura” lol
AC delete... Already doesn't come with rear ac... For $52k lol
Ac is under the passenger seats
Omg are we talking about the new HR or is this about your lame as car??
This will top the most stolen car list
You won't even see one on the road
Hondas are not good cars anymore. Save your money 👎
