- Whattup fellas! This video is me getting the Knack Platinum Trophy! I hope you enjoy it :) Sorry if there are audio issues I'm still learning lmao.
This video was inspired by one of my fav RUclipsrs (videogamedunkey) and I had more fun with the game than I thought I was gonna.
I don't recommend going after this Platinum at all, it is a bit tedious and way more difficult than I thought it was going to be.
The Platinum took me just over 31 hours (6 hours more than the Psnprofiles trophy guide) and I was doing everything pretty much as fast as I could.

This game was the most difficult thing 6 year old me had ever encountered, but it will forever hold a special place in my heart for making me get good at video games, i was the kind of kid who struggled with the combat sections of lego games. I'm not kidding. But all that changed after i played knack. I'm honestly surprised i stuck with it till the end considering i had the attention span of a goldfish

I don't know how but I beat very hard with regular knack as a 8 year old

Fun fact. Here in Brazil the voice actor for Knack is the same guy that does all Stallone dubs, Rocky, Rambo, Over the Top etc. It was the funniest thing hearing that deep voice coming from tiny Knack.

This series will always have a special place in my heart. I played through both games with an ex over Christmas one year. I think they're fun! Here's hoping for Knack 3 one of these days.

Honestly knack himself is a pretty neat character like i love the whole gimmick of going from this lil guy to this absolute beast made up of a bunch of lil pieces like some sentient lego and it be cool if he ever got revisited

ive played this a couple of years ago, such a blast, love the game. beat it too, but i couldnt have been bothered with finding all the chests
Finding all the chests was definitely the worst part of the game lol :)
This is just a hunch, but i think you’re able to dodge the arrows. 4:49 Right there it has a prompt to use right stick, and that’s typically a dodge. It’s probably too late to help but figured I’d mention what I thought.
Lmao yeah, the game doesn't always give you the prompt though and sometimes it gives it to you too late. Also if you dodge right before the prompt it will come up but you won't be able to move as there is a delay after dodging... all things I didn't know at that point in the game unfortunately :( but yeah you right

Honestly, this game & his sequel was gone in my memory because I've seen this video and getting a punch of nostalgia.
Unironically, when i was kid i used to go to my best friends house (i didnt have video games at mine) and we would wake up super early so we could get extra time playing knack. 10/10 Knack2thefuture!!!

I played this game when I was a kid, and I loved every second of it. The finally Was probably my most replayed level, as I ignored the extra content for the game. A little while back, I revisited the game and set it to very hard, clueless to what I was in for. I lost the disc to the game somewhere, and I would give my collection for that one disc just to finish what I started.
Also congrats on Plating Knack. I can see why they changed the collecting mechanic in the sequel.

I first found knack randomly on PS4 and since then secretly loved the game! I had no idea about how the collectables back then and only really played it cause knacks design was just really cool + the forms!
It was the one game I generally played with a fresh mind set in my life and I love it all the more for it!

I don’t know why knack at such a bad reputation. I personally really enjoyed the games, and Knack 2 fixed along with building upon it pretty well.
I think it is a pretty good game too, definitely undeserving of the amount of hate it got :)

I’m re playing this now for the platinum 6 years later. Honestly this game just made me angry lol levels go on too long than they should, cut scenes for no reason and the characters just really pissed me off tbh 😆🤦🏻♂️ and more. Nice video 💪🤝

fun fact: There was actually a mobile app where you could earn gadget items and relics by just playing the app and linking it to the game.
I learnt about this when collecting all the relics, such a strange addition to the game, interesting though for sure!

I remember getting this on psplus and having a lot of fun with it, reminded me a lot of the ps3 Invizimals game, but at least that platinum doesn't require resetting the game a lot to get collectibles
The resetting over and over was quite tedious lol, I think I had the game from ps plus too

I have the platinum on this game myself and it was awful, expecially grinding fo diamond knack. i hated so much the level withe the eye thing sucking reperts on very hard. I beated it using the tornato, otherwise it would have been almost impossible. Kudos on you

GAME OF THE CENTURY
I have been playing this game since April 16th 2015 and it’s my favorite game but I don’t grind for the trophies but I have played it through more than a dozen times
Probably more fun just to play through the game casually lmao, the trophies are a pain :)

I grew up with knack, and have loved it my entire time knowing it. Not sure why it gets hate from the people I know
The only reason I can think is that it was basically the only game of the PS4 launch and people wanted something more. I think it's a decent game, defs not deserving of all the hate

I just got the platinum for Knack (as I saved this game for my 50th platinum trophy) - I have to say, once you get in the rhythm of the game it's not that bad, but definitely it's a grindy and annoying one for the chests part. Also I feel like you have to cheese some levels (like chapter 5-4 with the laser that absorbs you, you can use your tornado super-move to be invisible for a couple of seconds). But overall I had a decent time with the game.
With the trophy of using only super moves on chapter 8-3 I have to disagree though, I did it with chapter select on 8-3. There are plenty of crystals in the level and you can skip most of the fights. At the end I had 3 or 4 super moves to use, but I only used it when I had to.
Congrats congrats :) 50 plats is an achievement! I agree with you, even though I died a load of times I was slowly progressing and getting through it. I thought the game was pretty good too.
I swear I tried that mission multiple times through chapter select but it just wouldn't work no matter what I did, I thought there just wasn't enough crystals to get through. I could be wrong though, if you got it that way then I guess it can be done lol

You know, it might be just me but you would be surprised how easy this game becomes once you start moving like you drank 7 redbulls, a lot of the attacks can just be dodged or beaten by double jumping around a lot or attacking before the enemy attacks by just spamming the attack button non-stop as knack usually has a longer reach than most melee enemies.
For me it was just the fact that you die in 1 or 2 hits that made it a struggle, but jumping immediately after attacking did help me out a bunch. You're 100% with the 7 Red bulls statement, lots of movement definitely helps
I don't know what to say, when I played it, the difficulty didn't really seem too unbalanced. it wasn't too easy, but I also didn't have as much trouble as you on normal enemies

IKR, I loved the game and its sequel, I have the Platinums for both games on both my main and second account, sure the treasures are RNG in Knack 1, I think it took me a couple of days to get Diamond Knack. I liked the soundtrack too, it reminded me of Jak and Daxter in places.

I would recommend platinuming Knack 2 because it's easier and is overall a much better game.
I have heard Knack 2 is a lot better, probably won't get the Platinum for it any time soon though
Watched a playthrough of knack where they dunked on the game the entire time. Played it for myself recently and it's pretty cringe in a lot of aspects. But I played the game while stoned and it's like one of my favorite games because of it. Then I played the second and it was even better and it surprised me.

Knack 1 is hell but knack two is absolute perfection in my opinion it is that perfect blend between hard but not too hard and not piss easy for 5e platinum i kid you not never once did i find myself even a little made while playing knack two

@@LukaLukaLukaOfficial2 no offense i havent watched your video yet but let me guess one annoying thing was the crystal relic rng well no worries in knack two there is rng but you can not get more relics then the amount you need to play as that crystal knack so once you find every secret chest or whatever they are called you get every relic plus in my opinion the game has better mechanics and a way more interesting story

You’ve got to do knack 2 now
Well I've done it and it wasn't that hard, just tedious because I missed a chest, started again and missed another chest, haha. The weird thing is, I found it to be so much easier on Very Hard than it was on Normal. Maybe I just got good? Anyway there's a trick I learned that makes combat better. The split second your punch connects you can jump to cancel the wind down animation and have a bit more maneuverability and time to get out of the way. Also, a lot of fights can be avoided even on Very Hard.

Just to let you know, the second game does have RNG collectibles, but the crystal relics don't repeat once you get each form. I'm pretty sure that you can get everything in one playthrough if you get all 100 chests. The gadget parts and crystals relics are still random though, but there are exactly enough chests to get everything. I know it will be a while before you do the second game, but I wanted to let you know that there is no randomness with the relics after you have a form.
Reading this is honestly awesome news! I was not keen for more diamond farming lmao, but yessirrrr I will be doing it eventually :)
