    Whoa! Villages in the far far west of China used to be very poor, even as the eastern and central parts of China got richer. These days I see on vlogs like this even average Uyghurs, Tajiks etc own at least one car. It shows life must have really improved for them even in such remote regions of China. That's gd to know, where as in Palestine, it really makes me sad....

    • @outman1923
      @outman1923 2 месяца назад +19

      On the positive side, our current difficulties can be overcome. The situation can be changed through positive actions. I wish for humanity to achieve peace and shared prosperity soon. I believe that Palestinians could even become more prosperous than most Chinese people. Since Palestinians live by the sea, their trade costs are lower. Too many people in China live in places with excessively high transportation costs. Although infrastructure has been built, the cost of using it is still too high compared to living by the sea. Fuel costs are also a factor.

We want our children and their children to live in such a peaceful world. There should not be wars. Our children should be able to travel around with no fears as the world gets smaller and every corners reachable to them!

      in the past few decodes the Chinese government has built lots of roads, infrastructures, and housing improve the local lives, another reason for the fast development of these regions is tourism, especially on social media platforms like Douyin (China TikTok), which help promote Xinjiang/Tibet tremendously and draw a lot of tourists to these two regions every year. That's why most Chinese people will laugh at the ridiculous accusations by the West that China is slaving the minorities/committing genocide in these regions. Travel videos like this one already flooded the Chinese social media 7-8 years ago and many people had already been to these regions multiple times and known what the actual life is like in these regions. It's a shame countries like USA will slander China with malicious lies and false accusation.

It does reminds me of the times when I was solo backpacking Central Asia and the Pamir region a few years ago. The warmth of these people are truly remarkable and inspiring. They may not be financially rich like many in the developed countries, but they always have so much to share, and so much to give even when they seemingly don't have as much themselves. I really want to give these people a big hug... for they've demonstrated so much goodness of humanity that we all can aspire to be.

I organised a trip to Xinjiang and the first 6 days will be visiting the very places that you covered including Kashgar, Tashkurgan, the Panlong Ancient Road, border checkpoints with Pakistan and Afghanistan's Wakan Corridor, Muztagh Ata Glacier Park and mountaineering camp at Subashi Village and the 2 stunning lakes Karakul and Baisha. Your video coverage is informative and very timely for my group of friends as we will be leaving for our 3 week adventure to Xinjiang in mid September. I must add that you are courageous riding your scooter through the vast, rugged regions of China. I especially enjoy your interactions with the natives and people you meet along the way. Thanks dear Yan for this brave journey in XinJiang to Afghan border and crossing the curvy hairpin skyway road. The scenery is beautiful , the cozy local traditional hotels are very friendly. You were invited by the tea house owner who recognized you, to their beautiful house and danced with the kind family and two little sons. Wow! Filming the long and winding road in this part of the planet is just incredible. Who would think that there's this road that connects several countries in Central Asia? Never in my wildest dream. View of the road from above looks like stairway to heaven - excellent drone maneuver. Sharing this beauty to the world will open to more vloggers to come and see for themselves this unbelievable beauty from nowhere. I always thought this part of Asia is still wild and untouched by modernization - obviously, I am wrong of such thought. I credit the engineer/s and architects who came up with this idea - make a zigzag road out of mountain slope - brilliant! They made the road so stunning, curvy and beautiful from a drone's perspective - thank you for taking me along. Motorbike safely.
