Hello Pat! Thanks for this series of videos. They are tremendously helpful. I recently received my first strike and prohibition from monetization from RUclips (after more than 10 years of posting videos) for one photo of a painting in a music video I made 7 years ago! The #1 thing I please need to know is how do I know the list of forbidden words & content for Apple, Google, Stitcher, and Spotify? I don't want to get all enthusiastic about podcasting if I find the same repressive and overly strict atmosphere that one can sometimes find here on RUclips. Thanks.
So, I'm confused with the download for the Skype recorder? When I download the actual Skype, it looks different now and when I downloader the recorder you have here, it doesn't look like it's connected to Skype?
I've got my intro video done on Garage Band and set up my Libsyn account but am having an issue with when I got to edit from Libsyn Classic Feed to edit. It is saying I don't have an RSS app but I do so I'm stuck and need help! This is all I have left to do then can shoot it out to the world finally!!

The only way I’ve seen it be done is by actually uploading on to the website. Something I’d rather not due. Many thanks, D N

I just love the more features in this hosting. PS I am asking .....to be on other's podcast. Get a little bumbed by how some podcasts mainly seek those with a publisher. Hey Pat, I ended up going with Buzzsprout- my line breaks are showing on Apple Podcasts, however they do not show up on Spotify so everything is all bunched together and hard to read. I reached out to Buzzsprout who told me it's not possible, yet I've seen multiple podcast descriptions AND show notes with line breaks on there, so there HAS to be a way! Any tips you can provide in this area would be greatly appreciated! I searched the entire web and can't find any articles on this

I always worry about totally free services like anchor. For one, eventually they have to make money. What happened on Facebook, Instagram, and other free social media platforms? -Ads, and not where we wanted them. -Pay to play, algorithms began to control the reach. -SoundCloud was free, and then they almost went bankrupt Plus, when you pay for something you have skin in the game and are more likely to take action. Free usually means, there no loss if I don’t do it.
I'm impressed with your business model for content delivery and affiliate use to integrate and monetise as a simple UX. Value to us while valuing your own effort. Question. How on earth do you speak so fast. Is that post recording processing?

Pat, would Buzzsprout also be the same company that networks your podcast for advertisers and would then pay you a percentage based on the downloads?

Theoretically you can use youtube as a host right? or Soundcloud?
Soundcloud technically yes, but not RUclips. They do not give you the RSS feed that you could submit to the directories.

No, just convert it to an mp3 and then you'll be all set. Not a video platform.

Nope! You technically do not need a website to have a podcast as long as you have a host.
