Very well put together video, JT made everything he laid out in the video simple and easy to understand. You can definitely tell he’s put a lot of research into Tiger’s swing and he’s not just guessing for clicks.
Amazing video. I really like your teaching style. One thing I’d add to the “Grip” part of the video. You’ll see that tiger uses his trail heel pad to almost completely cover his lead thumb. Scottie schefflers coach recommended this and it’s really helped me a lot. Particularly in my short game and wedge play.
Awesome video, gonna try and feel this next practice session ! Viktor Hovland's how to swing is definitely the one video I'm eagerly looking forward to watching, please ;D
Hi Fred, Glad you enjoyed the video. Almost all golfers have a small trigger move. Rory has a shift and Matt Wolf has a hip turn thing. A trigger move is something players do to tell their brain it’s time to hit. If I were you I recommend adding a tiny shift into your front leg as your trigger move. This will help you load properly during the swing and tell your brain it’s time to go. Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
I've never heard the right arm back as the ribcage turns... Probably because everyone was yaking about arms in front. Well done. Left arm not pinning to the body in the takeaway is overlooked too. Well done. I've been studying his swing for years, and people are usually full of it... Really, great job.
JT is an incredible coach and has spent his entire life studying tigers swing. Old school is pull arms down new school is rotate and let the arms pin to chest. Glad you enjoyed the tips.
you left out the absolute most crucial part about understanding Tigers swing and actually getting the hands out in front of the body where they need to be....he swings right hand dominant. You can even see at 4:00 that after making all these changes, you body still naturally put the head behind the hands. It has to be right hand dominant to do this without straining.
my observation on your club face at the top of your takeaway show your right hand is controlling the club that `s not tiger swing . the result won`t be the same
JT does have a few students that have very similar swings to Tiger Woods. No one will exactly replicate his swing but you can copy a good portion of it.
Despite all these lessons, when you do the demo shot - - at upswing, you lifted your head up slightly (Tiger lowered his head level by 2 to 3 inches) and at downswing, Tiger lowered his head level by a further 5 to 6 inches, which was presumably due to 'Tiger's squat' according to your logic yet you failed to deploy it. Why?
JT has been studying Tigers swing for years and he wanted to talk about the most important components of his swing. Tigers best swing was back in 2000. He did not squat and drop as much back then.
Lol these transition pieces would have to start happening at p3 to ever replicate what Tiger does… dumb video… how do you get to the top and then think of all of that and hit a ball?
This video helped me shoot a 4-under 31 yesterday to break my nine-hole PR by two shots, thanks JT!
The most important thing i took from his swing was keeping his height on the backswing allowing natural drop in downswing. Helped me a lot
JT is by far the best teacher. No BS but a systematic construction of the golf swing. Applicable to most players. Great stuff!
JT is legendary this man needs a youtube channel!
100%!
Looking forward to this series, great idea.
Please consider doing Champions tour guys too, for us older, outta shape guys.👍🤞

There isn’t anyone on the planet who has put more time into studying Tigers golf swing then JT.
LEGENDARY LESSON! Amazing!
This is some awesome information. JT is the GOAT.

Love to see you practicing getting stuck with the right arm at the start of the downswing. I can't wait to hit blocks and hooks on command.
Just don’t get stuck
I’m needing a Zach Johnson swing video
Great video man
this is great!~
Loved this video 🎉
Awesome!
This is AWESOME! Do Jack Nicklaus next!
Good video. But I miss the small lateral forward bump in the beginning of the transition, when the left arm is parallel in the backswing
Hi Great
instruct
ional video on Tiger's swing. Tiger also has a subtle trigger to start his backswing. What is that trigger? Thanks Fred P

I just watched Micah's video on you coaching him, and I accidentally stumbled upon this video lmao

tiger club face is pointing down and yours is flat .. another thing your left arm is bending a little while tiger is dead straight.
Can you please do rorys swing
Well well well well well it looks like the biomechanics on that perfect swing has gone full circle and coming back

do xander please
tiger does not pull his right arm behind his seamline in transition
Honest question - do you have any students that swing like Tiger in 2000 ?
JT does have a few students that have very similar swings to Tiger Woods. No one will exactly replicate his swing but you can copy a good portion of it.
Excellent instruction
I'd like to learn how to swing like Fred couples
You need a RUclips channel.
you are pushing while tiger is pulling down to the ball
I knew Tiger, I played with Tiger, Tiger Woods was a close personal friend of mine. This guy is no Tiger Woods.
Lol, you wish bud
So now you should be able to win 16 majors, as long as you dont chase women and drink and drive til you wreck.

Yikes. No wonder he had back problems.

This is nonsense
