My 2016 GX second row can slide forward and backwards. Definitely helps with installing a rear facing car seat. Even though that tumbling 2nd row seat in the new GX helps with 3rd row entry, I would trade that for sliding adjustment since that 3rd row would be used minimally.
What is it like for the person sitting in the middle in the second row? I have three teenage boys and they fight over the fact that there is nowhere to put their feet (if sitting in the middle) and it is not comfortable especially on long drives if the middle person has to put one foot in each of the side passengers footwells. Please explain if you agree or disagree. Thank you.
@@fagiolo2376 they were fine in our 2004 and 2011 GXs. Our kids are still young, but we are a family of 6 so we must have a 3rd row and made it work. Since they made KDSS exclusive to the models with no 3rd row the entire GX550 line is a no go.
@@jasonthach44 I don’t upload much but feel free to check it my channel. But yes I do. I’m still probably one of the only people in the US to install 5.29s in a 100 Series and enjoy taking my 4 boys on adventures.
The TX is ugly, the GX looks like a mini G-Wagon. Yes the TX is better for families, but the GX just looks so cool.
@@flapflapflapdopiest take 😂
Get a mini van and stop the debate!
People need to justify the purchase and really want it to work as a family hauler but it just isn’t.
minivans are embarrassing to own
NEW LEXUS GX 😍👍

I needed this video, debating on this or a new MDX Type S. These kids may just have to figure it out 😂😂

What is the actual cubic square footage of cargo space with the seats down?
Im so disappointed that they dont offer a 3rd row on the Overtrail models. Deal breaker for our family.
3rd row on this Lexus is useless anyway, very disppointing.

@marcochavanne you're not going to go off road. Stop lying to yourself.

If you have three kids with car seats and want a non-Suburban sized SUV, buy the X7, not this joke of a 3-row
