yeah i had to giggle about the money. i bought my s14 kouki in may for 13.000 euro and the german community was raging what a bargain i did there. i have to admit that i own one of the best s14's in germany when it comes to condition. love it :D
The Kouki 180SX and the S15 is some of the most amazing cars ever built. While most JDM cars are common in video games, the Kouki 180SX is considered to be one of the rarest cars to be featured in games, mostly due to the fact that 240SX is much more well known because of the US. And S15 hasn't aged by years. One time I asked my friend to look at an photo of an S15 and I asked him to guess how old is it, and he replied, "2010?", and then he was shocked to hear that the S15 was produced in the early 2000s, not the late 2000s.
Exactly, I hope it isn't as "overrated" as the AE86 yet and as such still somewhat affordable, has everything I like about the AE86 even if the AE86 has the better performance so to say.
No the Sileighty wasn't made by Nissan themselves but it was authorised by Nissan to the original tuner company that did the conversion, Kids Heart, the right to produce limited number of the SilEighty.
The s15 spec S is equipped with a sr20de 5 speed and has 165hp, while the spec R was the turbo model with 250hp and 6 speed. Both were also as AT available
No KA love... i believe you have to learn appreciate the car for what it is first. KA or not, a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder is a vital step in someones racing "career" before getting into any big power. Learning how to handle and drive the car in mountain roads with minimal power or a decent powerband is not BAD! I plan on turboing the KA but first i wanted to appreciate it for what was given to us a USDM car. :)
Im yet to see a single video about the Silvias or S-chassis that mentions the sucess S-chassis had in the IMSA GTU class in the early 90s or the JGTC GT300 class. Then there is also what the S-chassis has done at Tsukuba and WTAC.
-Pontiac GTO 1964-1967 -Jeep Cherokee/Comanche 1984-2002 -Chevrolet Corvette 1968-1973 (cleaned up road racing in its heyday, in addition to being one of the most beautiful cars ever produced) Let's get some USDM respect up in here.
Here's a few Sil80 configurations: S13 front end + 240 notchback = JDM Silvia conversion (240 notchback is based on Silvia, not 180) RPS13 front + S13 Silvia = Onevia (Opposite of Sileighty) S15 front end + 180 = S13.5 Sileighty (or the strawberry face conversion, as 1 and 5 as _ichi go_ combined will be _ichigo,_ meaning strawberry.) S14 front end + 180 = S13.4 Sileighty
Please make a video on the Volvo 240 or the whole 200 series. It is one of my dream cars. I'm not even kidding, it started as a joke I had with my friends but then I just started to love the car for real. And also, I know you meant the 240 as a whole and I'm a little nitpicky but at 0:51 you just said 240 while showing a 240 Estate, the 240 and the 240 Estate are different body styles but it doesn't really matter.
this was really good, just wish you could've slowed down a little more. add more information on each car, i feel like you crammed a lot of info in one vid
Car: ’05 Nissan Silvia S15 Engine: SR20 Driver: Muhammed Ali allahu akbar 1/4 Best ET: 6.228 @ 226.81 MPH Track: Orlando Speed World Date: Oct 27, 2018 Status: Active The driver of this Nissan S15 is Muhammad Ali, and his ride is the quickest and fastest SR20-powered ride on the planet. He has some badass people helping him make things happen and he does a great job behind the wheel as well. MazWorx built and tuned the chassis to the SR20, which cranked out over 1,800 horsepower on the dyno at 60 pounds of boost. Legendary tuning guru Shane Tecklenburg handles the tuning of the car and you can tell it’s got his stamp all over it, running both ridiculously quick and consistent, which shows the tune is near perfect and they aren’t just taking stabs at the parameters to see what works. Anybody who knows anything about Shane T knows his rides are consistently quick like this and shatter records regularly, proof that he’s the man in the tuning world. The numbers the car puts up at almost perfectly on par with NHRA Pro Stock, allowing me the opportunity to make a comparison between the drastically different combinations. Pro Stock rules, as most of you know, mandate naturally aspirated powerplants, while this SR20 is crammed with almost 70 pounds of boost at speed on the track. Of course, it has half of the cylinders of the 500 CID V8 under the hood of a Pro Stocker, which makes around 1,500 horsepower. So how does the Pro Stocker run the same ET with less horsepower? The answer is contained within the interview with Mark from MazWorx, who talks about the chassis. See if you guys can determine the difference and let us know what you think.
If we're going over popular drift cars, the BMW 3-series would make for an interesting video. Just make sure to emphasise the E30 to E9x generations, haha
When talking about popular engine swaps you manage to leave out the RB series engines Which are highly sought after, just thought I would mention it in case you make another video
I've had a few 240s in my time (hence the username) and one thing I could never get over is the floppy chassis and suspension. As far as handling dynamics, I'm much happier with the NA Miata, crazy that a convertible can have a less flexible chassis than a coupe.
Hi can you do a video on bmw n54 engine please. But if you do please gather as much info as you possibly can find because that engine deserves only the best.
Can you please make a video about Lancia's, the world's only company that made really good cars, according to the old Top Gear, people nowadays dont know that fact.
There's this guy who wants to sell his 240sx in terrible condition with a v8 swap for 5k Luckily i picked my up just recently for 1k running, hasn't meet a wall, minor leaks that everyone has once needed to fix in their lives when buying a used car.
Great video, informative, though having better audio quality would help you. Mixed with the music is just sounds distant and tinny. Perhaps consider a better mic? My .02
Two words: *IMPACT BLUE*
like if you know what I'm talking about
Racers don’t need girlfriends
Iketani's broken heart.
I’ve gotten to talk with the English cast of Impact Blue *Colleen Clinkenbeard and Monic Rial* on Twitter
Like begger

Iketani senpai approve this
Indeed
Lonely Driver lonely drivers forever
Racers don't need girlfriends !!!!!
Lonely Driver Sorry for that little tap. Did i scare off your girlfriend?
False, iketani dislikes s14s and s15s
DiD SoMeBodY SaY 240?
NO
lmao you're in every new video
No... We said 420 mY DuD3
Ian H Does someone have the same profile picture as me?
The 240's pretty shit
What made so great? Rwd, light and tuneable.
And the most important: the chassis
In Europe easy access ae86 cost around 10-20k€
So 4500$ sound nice
yeah i had to giggle about the money. i bought my s14 kouki in may for 13.000 euro and the german community was raging what a bargain i did there. i have to admit that i own one of the best s14's in germany when it comes to condition. love it :D
Keisuke Takahashi should have just bought a eg6
I saw an AE86 local to me (West coast US) and they wanted $12,000. It wasn't nice either, no interior and the paint had been all stripped
in australia people want $30k+, even 40k for them. it's absurd
Keisuke Takahashi us, apparently. importing mine from Japan for less than 10k.
The Kouki 180SX and the S15 is some of the most amazing cars ever built.

Keisuke Takahashi Yes, have to agree. But Wankels are still better.
Keisuke Takahashi the kouki is the starting car for Midnight Club LA 🤔🤔🤔
180sx is in Need for Speed 2015
The S15 looks great! One of the best desings! Either closed or opened.
But many of the late 80s desings and 90s from Nissan look very modern.
Planted Zebra well to me the r32 is rare to see in old games
Stay Frosty my Friends!
The303Garage when i get a s14 will u review it i live in westminster
The303Garage i am for the Caribbean, i am anything but frosty.
+100 respek for liking HOME
i love the retro style must be a late 80s/90s kid keep em coming
The intro is literally something out of my dreams. Very good 🙏🏻
This series is the best. They all come with the car's own essence and atmosphere that you seem to capture perfectly. Lovin it.
s12 life
Nimbus #s12overeverything
Nimbus I wish I had one of those, you're so lucky
s12 sounds pretty ok, but not great. it won't be hit as hard as an ae86 on the drift tax, but then an ae86 is lighter and better balanced
its not the best car in the world but it definitely does the job
Exactly, I hope it isn't as "overrated" as the AE86 yet and as such still somewhat affordable, has everything I like about the AE86 even if the AE86 has the better performance so to say.
S-Chassis make for great grip cars too! Look at Under Suzuki's S15 and the MCA Hammerhead S13, two of the best Time Attack cars in the world!
4500$ for a stock 240SX? HA! Consider yourself lucky, where I live there like 8 grand for the worst one.
Gou Hojo where you at 👀👀👀
holy shit they're cheap. i bet it's because the usa got a truck engine in the 240's. i did a bargain for 13.000 euro in germany.
Canada
in my country you can't even find them :(
I bought my low mileage, clean title s14 for $3200 usd
The "Fastback" part was the determining factor of this video. Very accurate 👍
i can’t stop watching this series, I love it 😍😉
Glad to see you took our comments on board. This video was much better than the last one. :-)
Do the 300zx/the Fairladyz family
Human KickStand this or skyline/gtr
the sound of rotary just rapes you in the ears without warning but it feels so good LAWL
No the Sileighty wasn't made by Nissan themselves but it was authorised by Nissan to the original tuner company that did the conversion, Kids Heart, the right to produce limited number of the SilEighty.
Looks like a similar chassis to the 92-95 Toyota Camry and Lexus SC 300. Loved those cars
Pacing of the video was perfect this time around, music too. Love it. Thanks for the awesome video
Any video with music from Home is a good video.
I think the MX-5 definitely deserves a video too. Being the best selling Roadster of all time and being an amazing car in general.
The s15 spec S is equipped with a sr20de 5 speed and has 165hp, while the spec R was the turbo model with 250hp and 6 speed. Both were also as AT available

I'm keeping the KA in my car. It's getting an LS3, but I'm not making it a jackstand queen until next winter
you deserve more subs my dude. i like ur editing style
Finally a vid on the S series

Next the evo please
YES :D
Lol
Yes!
You should do civics next lol
Awww man please make a Volvo 240 video! Great stuff btw, appreciate how you add all video sources and music in the description!
-Pontiac GTO 1964-1967
-Jeep Cherokee/Comanche 1984-2002
-Chevrolet Corvette 1968-1973 (cleaned up road racing in its heyday, in addition to being one of the most beautiful cars ever produced)
Let's get some USDM respect up in here.
Glad I picked it first when I first played Forza Horizon 3... I just knew something is Wonderful with it.. The spec-R 2000
Bro! Good vid! But you forgot my s13 .the onevia .its the usdm 240sx coupe . (Silvia with 180 pop ups) subbed!
The only thing that they missed: Putting any NEO VVL in it.
Oh and you forget to mention the cabriolet versions of the S13 and S15. ;)
Nice video. :)
Here's a few Sil80 configurations:
S13 front end + 240 notchback = JDM Silvia conversion (240 notchback is based on Silvia, not 180)
RPS13 front + S13 Silvia = Onevia (Opposite of Sileighty)
S15 front end + 180 = S13.5 Sileighty (or the strawberry face conversion, as 1 and 5 as _ichi go_ combined will be _ichigo,_ meaning strawberry.)
S14 front end + 180 = S13.4 Sileighty
My two chosen chassis' in a row!
Dude keep it up! I'm new to channel but so far, this series has been great!
Love the initial D references, such a great show.
DUDE THX FOR ALL THE LINKS
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Honestly, S12 are so underrated. They need love too :(
Pretty great summary. You left out s13 convertible though ! Love the synth soundtrack
Awwwwww yeeaaaaaa. I love these so much, keep up the great work my dude
Oooooh. Love these cars but never knew much about them! Next video should be on Civic or the Z series. Please do the Prius for April Fools day!
I don't know about US but here in Greece a 200sx will cost you 3-4k if you search for one!!And it comes with the Ca18t 😀😀
Here in Russia the most popular drift platform is VAZ
It costs around $500, and you can find almost any parts for it for around $1-$3
this was really good, just wish you could've slowed down a little more. add more information on each car, i feel like you crammed a lot of info in one vid
C H yeah im triggered because he forgot to mention RB26Dett swap
what about honda civics? or integras?
The thing I like about the 240 is that people always customize them differently, hence different personalities.

Great Video!!! Please do the Miata! I just got my own Miata and it'd be cool to see an episode on this
I say the skyline should be your next video! Please lol I just stumbled upon your channel. Now I'm subscribing!!

lol 2017 4500 is too much for a running s13... 2021 kids selling rolling shells for 6k
Nice video! Maybe do either Supra or Imprezas rival, the Lancer evo?
you forgot the Onevia, which is an S13 with 180SX front
Awesome video as always, and yes the pace was good this time ;)
But what makes this chassis so good for drifting? Is it only the 50 50 weight distribution?
I've had a few 240s in my time (hence the username) and one thing I could never get over is the floppy chassis and suspension. As far as handling dynamics, I'm much happier with the NA Miata, crazy that a convertible can have a less flexible chassis than a coupe.
lol yea have you seen that missing piece of chassis rail on the s13s XD that cant help the situation
The only silvia featured in real racing 3 is the s15
I got my bonestock s13 240sx for $1800. Swapped the valve gasket and it's perfect. 150k on the odometer.
Actually the rps13 180sx was produced till 1998, if you refare to JDM data
Just bought a rolling S13 last week, now the question is, SR20 notch top or 2J...
Is the SR20DET practically the same engine as the SR20 in the Nissan Sentra?
Underrated youtuber **Removes my hat**
Hi can you do a video on bmw n54 engine please. But if you do please gather as much info as you possibly can find because that engine deserves only the best.
You forgot the 240SX coupe, which is an S13 Silvia with pop ups.

Can you please do liberty walk next? I love this series and it would be great to see it there

Very good and well made video.
Great video buddy !
i hope when i get my own car in a few years the price isnt super high it was my dream car since i was 4
Great video, informative, though having better audio quality would help you. Mixed with the music is just sounds distant and tinny. Perhaps consider a better mic? My .02
Three words:Mako come back
we don't have those where i live, what should i drift instead?
Please do Veilside next
He didnt mention the RB series in swaps [TRIGGERED!!!!!] 😂
Hmm
Didn’t talk about the onevia aka the 240sx coupe
Kouki is actually pronounced Koe-ki, by the way, besides that awesome video!
Out of curiosity, not nessarily for drifting what do you think of the 2K5 Acura/Honda RSX-Type S (with A-Spec)?
5:37 was wondering if you were going to show adams 240
Love the video. can you do the dodge charger or challenger
So will i be seeing a “e36 - what makes it so great” soon?
*Cries in S12*
This was a great video but I think what we all really wanted was the Volvo 240 😂
I may no longer have an S13, but I do have an S130 with an L28 twin turbo
how did u for get to mention the HARDBODY smh
AKEMI Films hardbody isnt s chassis moron
I'm not American
Adrian! Neither am I
How about Onevia? S13 with 180sx front end
Did you just forget adamlz's s-chassis cars? 😁
4500$ for 180/200sx S13? In Norway its even worse. Same car would easly be over 7000usd and S14 is about 10-15k usd.. fml man
Did somebody say 180
Can you put in the next video Liberty Walk?
Stop.
Are you going to be at next months cars and coffee?
