- Hi guys! Another action-packed adventure this week! We're off to the Vintage Tractor Pull with our old machine... Can we do better than last year? Team Studebaker keep at it with more "race preparations" (like making the doors stay closed)! Both teams have a lot to do if they are going to keep up to @jonathanw4942 ... Then: It's Model T Race day with Matt & Jim from Strong's Garage, and we are definitely looking forward to that! I always look forward to a visit with Darry; lets see what he's been up to!
Thanks to everyone who ordered a "T" shirt... They are on their way now!
Also: We just got in a new shipment of "Same Old Shit" coffee mugs, so get them while they last, haha!
Oh! I do not have a Telegram account or any bullshit contest going! Do not respond to any of these "contest winner" replies; they are a scam.
Thanks to everyone who subscribed to our channel here, and thanks also for all of your "likes" and comments!

@jonathanw4942
Wearing the President's hat, but not his jacket.
I just watched Jonathan W's latest video. He did a first start on his '56 Hawk. He said it moved when he put it in gear. His is a '56 Hawk with a 259cid Packard engine in it. He basically had to rebuild the motor, he had bent pushrods, and bent valves. It also needed a new piston.
Your the Chrysler Cowboy Scott ❤😊😂
Tom is the best, love the old fellow
"T" Shirt showed up Scott ! 😁
You know it's a good day when the tractor gnome is grinning ear to ear, with the beard flapping in the breeze.
Dang! You got there first. I was all excited to mention the tractor gnome being out on a tear with a tank dry as a fart!
The Packard and Studebaker deserve a restoration for the sound of the engine alone
No kiddin! Those things just gurgle!
Or maybe... maybe even combine them into some sort of Packardbaker! I can't imagine an idea like that ever going wrong!
Cheers Scott Happy Saturday y'all!
The parking lot looks fantastic....the building facade too! Looks so retro cool!!!
Hey thanks! I am very happy that the T garage / parking lot project is finally getting finished... I've been picking at it for 4 years I think... Cheers!
Maybe you could attach two strips of wood on the back of your acrylic starting panel (on each end) and glue some magnets onto the wood, so the panel would stay put on the fenders of the car you're working on.
Tractor Cowboy!!! in all seriousness, well done and congratulations on beating last years benchmark. Darryl should be commended for all his hard work preserving Police cars good word fella.
That Rear Bumper on the 57 Studebaker Parts car looks like it would be a nice addition to the 58 Coupe.......more straight
Kinda hard to snivel about sore knees & stiff back, working on my wagon when I see what your buddy Darry gets done. Good grief. Fall Fair here tomorrow, taking the Heap, hoping to see some antique tractors as well. Life is good.
I have to say from 10 yards the fenders on the Stud look great , hats off to the bondo wizard that pulled that off.
Every reshuffle of the hidden gem empire is tractor pull preparation :-)
The Model T race was super cool. It's nice to see you're not afraid to use the Model T and running it down the dirt roads..... those roads are like super hi-ways for the T!
Oh yeah! The T loves the gravel roads, for sure!
Congrats to Tractor Gnome and his respectable 29th place finish! Swore I could smell the fresh paint during the walk around of Darry’s lovely AMC. I think we need to get the Prairie Flyer to make the trip north for some Can-Am T racing action next year….thanks for another enjoyable hour, best to you, Frankers and the Agents, and see you next week!
All the tractor enthusiasts just staring at the model T like a UFO has just landed!!
..you live in an awesome place, Scott, at least in the summer.........the countryside shots were beautiful.........good to see the tractor gnome out and running free in the wild again....
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a great week! I can’t even imagine the work that went into editing all of this. If I commented on everything that I found super cool my comment would be way too long. 😁 So I will just say thank you to Scott for bringing us all along for these fun times.
(That Stude looks showroom fresh, but I’m still Team Vic) 👍💯
Hey glad you liked it... Yeah, definitely a lot of editing for this one! Cheers...
@@coldwarmotorsI will say that to you, Cheers and Happy Sunday morning to you all!
Frankers is one graceful and beautiful dog - you're lucky to have such a lovely dog!
If Tom is impressed by something that means it must be really good. Both events seemed fun and very enjoyable. Love the old Model T race cars, good times. Matt and Jim on motorcycles remind me of the movie Easy rider. Don't think they where aiming for it but it sort of came out that way. Jonathan has his Studebaker engine running, at least it a interesting competition.
Man, this episode has it all... Tractor pull, Model T races, and a second visit with Darry! Fantastic!
Yeahh! My T shirt has reached the Dutch border, I just paid the import duties
The Tractor Gnome has left the building! I love how, when you were flying down the highway at break neck speed, the wind was blowing your beard.
You were having way too much fun at the tractor pull. You were grinning like a mule eating briars! 😂
Need to do a custom paint job on the tractor. The old gal deserves it.
Yes!
Yes, Farmalls look so good with their silver trimmed red wheels! However, then he would need to keep it in the shed!
Every time I see your garage that stores the 'T' I think it needs a CWM sign on a pole, like an old diner or something. Great episode!
Just watched Jonathan's! His is a runner now too! Been looking forward to this one!
Yeah! That's a fantastic car he has there... Cheers!
My favorite 59 fury yellow. ❤ Beautiful drive by the countryside Doesn't get Any better Thank you guys for putting all that together coldwarmotors on A Saturday much blessing for Everyone. 😊
Great episode. What a pleasure to see the tractor pull and T races. It’s also great to see you out there actually driving your cars and having both fun and enjoying your cars (and tractor!). And to see your face and stature list shine bright while your playing with your stuff and enjoying a good time with your friends. What a great way to close out the summer.
Beautiful presentation! The pure excitement of these Fierce Fords battling for dominance of the track. I can see possibilities of a rebirth of T racing. Imagine, hundreds of Ts filing to Canada to complete. It could become a mecca, like Sturgis, South Dakota for bikers, The Running of the Bulls in Pamplona or the Grunion Run in San Diego🐟. Your work on the A pickup still shines.
Thank you very much! Always nice to hear from anyone who likes this kind of thing...Cheers!
Nothing like a tractor pull on a Saturday. Just weld the doors shut on the Studebaker. Lol.
Thanks for a great show Scott and Franker's and agents.
Have a fantastic weekend!
Bondo it shut.
It's a good day when CWM features the T! It would be great to see the Prairie Flyer in the T races someday @shedbythetracks
Yeah! Glad you enjoyed it... Cheers from here!
Wow! this show had everything a guy could want! The T races must be awesome in person, I'm extremely jealous. You always keep the standards high for us amateurs. Cheers and all the best from the shed
Cheers from another amateur, Randahl! All the best as always from the junkyard...
As a teenager I spent hundreds of hours plowing hay fields and tung orchards on our W6. It had a 1 gallon tank for starting on gasoline. After it was warm you could switch to the normal tank filled with "coal oil" (which we never used).
A fellow worker knocked his front teeth out hand cranking without using the correct technique.
The back tyres need to be aired down for tractor pulling to maximise grip. Also wheel weights and water ballast will help. Cheers Scott!
Great video Scott! You have the best car video channel on RUclips! Always love to see you and your friends helping each other, laughing the whole time! And you guys all seem to really enjoy using your vehicles, instead of just doing the same revival vids over and over. Kudos!
Hey thanks so much! Very kind of you to say... Cheers from here!
You guys always laugh a lot but you smiled more in this one Scott- east to tell you were having a ball
So much seen and heard this week, and Wow,doesn't cover it all. Thanks for all you guys do to keep us wanting to find a basketcase, and get it rolling again.Cheers !
Another awesome hour spent North of the Border...T's, Tractors, Furys, Frankers(in a cameo role), A's, and the '37 Chev! And the Matador squad is going to be a knockout - I always have room in my heart for AMC cars.👍Cheers to everyone involved!!
Hi Scott nice to see the subs creeping up and the straight 8 sounds really good cheers from uk
* Fantastic Episode ! So much fun stuff. Tractor pull, Car show, Model T races, Human powered collision. Scott now you earned another handle. Tractor Knome and now Pacecar Poobah ! 😂 In my senior years of High School in 1975 I got pulled over on Woodward by a Birmingham Cop who was driving one of those 75 Matadors. I remember getting out and talking to the cop about it. They had just got them. They had always used Pontiacs. He said it was ok but he missed the Pontiac. He told me to slow down and let me off with a warning. I see Johnathon W got 1st start on the Stude G Hawk 👊😎👍
Darrys attention to detail in his builds is amazing. Hope we can get updates on this one. Tractor pulling looks like a lot of skill and technique is required so well done Scott in having moved higher up the finishing places! And those T racers are a testament to peoples natural desire to compete with each other. Truly a historical batch of cars and great to see them still doing what the old guys who built them set out to achieve. Also love that Model A pickup, the patina is spot on . Best wishes from the UK to all the agents 🇬🇧
It’s impossible not to smile when that biplane ornament on the T is spinning and turning. I love that so dang much.
Oh, got my “T” shirt yesterday and my extra SOS mug (I dropped the second one, the first is still serviceable but it has lots of patina!).
I was just going to post about the biplane too. I love that ornament.
Awesome! Thanks so much for helping keep us in the air... All the best from me and Frankers!
Great to see you out enjoying the toys after all the work you put into them. Fun video!
Hey thanks Charles! Glad you liked it...
The new gas station is coming along nicely. What a great episode, with T races, tractor pulls, straight piped junkers, police car restos, and motorcycles!
Could have only been better if i was there in person. GREAT VIDEO!
Great video! It looks like you had lot of fun this week, thanks for taking us along to enjoy it with you.
Glad you enjoyed it! I definitely had even more fun than usual the last couple weeks! Cheers from me and Frankers...
Quite the Grand Days Out! I noticed you were getting some admiring looks as you cruised around the tractors in the "T". Well done in the pull. That must be a lot harder than it looks.
Truly wonderful. A straight 8 sound, flat V8 sound and a OHV V8. All distinct and gorgeous
Scott, could it be a better show? Don't think so. Great Saturday night from CWM.
CHEERS to all agents and all involved with that show.
Loved it all.
Thanks for the delightful entertainment.
And yes, thumbs up to Justin. Your property is shaping up nicely.
Cheers from Wisconsin
Scott, what a fantastic episode! Bravo on yet another CWMs magnum opus! From jockeying beaters at Headquarters to Stude door repairs (guess you won't need any mending plates now), Tractor pulls, vintage flat trackers and T races hosted by Strong's Garage you covered the prairie front! Over zealous Dean caused an accident in the lineup whilst shuffling the front runners, but all's well that ends well. Forlorn Frankers remained behind for tractor and T rides but slomo-ed the intro nonetheless. That Police Car fine art painting is a true knockout and couldn't have gone to a better man! (single stage rules!) This classic is definitely a rinse and repeat viewing episode! Cheers all around! Gives me something to do tomorrow, Thanks!
Saturday ....weekly CWM hour !!!!!!!!!!
Tractor does ok pulling the sled ,
thank you for the videos
Keep 'em coming !!!!!
Elton’s. Paintings. So true to life. Very. Detailed. Thanks
"You're gonna do the upholstery?" ROTFLMFAO!!! Tom RULES!!! GREAT episode - like a time machine! Cheers!!!
Why Scott, I can't believe you just left your racing tractor unguarded overnight like that! I mean that gave your competitors the opportunity to poke around it and find out all the secet engine upgrades and race mods you have done to it since last year! (Although now that I think about it, your fellow competitors are Canadians, so I guess they would deem that kind of behaviour un gentleman like and not peek under the hood even given a chance to do so eh?...)👍😉
Hello from Memphis. The ride in the fury was a real treat. I grew up in North Dakota and the landscape was just like the drive I've taken hundreds of times.... thanks for the memory
I love that Matador. Great color. It's awesome that with his disability he can do that quality of work. He should be very proud of what he's accomplished.
Hats off to Darry!
T races were awesome. Nobody broke their neck.
Back when we were teenagers and there were still a lot of early ‘50’s cars around like that ‘50 Pontiac -while your friend was under the hood of one of those cars with the horns mounted on the underside of the hood to give them a good honk. Usually resulted in your buddy banging his head hard. Always a big laugh.
Me: "Harumph! I care naught for tractors".
Me 5mins into the video: "Oh Wow! Look at those beautiful little tractors!".
Hey, thanks for checking it out... The tractor pull is such a fun event, even if I know next to nothing about tractors... Cheers!
@@coldwarmotors The whole episode was excellent.
So great to see you enjoying the fruits of your labor. Well done!
I see you put a column in the 57 to move it around although i wonder if Dean was too sober to be up for the relocation.
Great show.
The '37 coming out of the dark void at very end: awesome
Great show today, a little something for everyone. Darry sure does nice work.
I drove a retired EPS 1975 Matador for a city of Edmonton job I had in 1978 and can confirm it had a 360. Fun car to drive and I’m looking forward to seeing Derry’s car when it’s finished!
Thank you, Scott and all the agents, for all that you do! What a GREAT bunch of Canuckistans you guys are!
Hahahahaha love that you don't censor ol Tom he's a hoot keep being real Scott
Tom reminds me so much of my great uncle Lawrence who whenever he would visit always had to swear Dad in so he wouldn't tell him a lie,Gosh I miss him and Dad like crazy 😕
what a wonderful time all the events and Darrys awsome cars. such a good day thanks guys. cheers.
Glad you had a great time at the Tractor Pull Scott . Loved the old cars as well . 👍🏻💯🇦🇺.
So much fun packed into 1 hour, the tractor pull was a hoot same as the T races. thanks a lot Scott and co for all your efforts best thing on youtube . Cheers from Australia !
Hey thanks...Glad you enjoyed it!
Just finished watching Johnathan W first start . Then coldwarmotors Saturday's show . ❤ ✌️👍😎 cheers.
Living in west Texas, there are always old tractors and shows, always cool to see the old beasts around and some still in use today. Cheers from Lubbock, as always a great show. Thanks!
What an action packed episode this was! Thank you so much for taking us along.
Hi Eric! Glad you enjoyed this one like we did putting it together... All the best form here!
So fun would love to try the flat track and always fun watching you do the tractor pull.
A dear memory is driving our JD Model 40 on the road to help move a neighbor. Redlining a 2 cylinder 😊. On my bucket list is to buy and restore the succeeding model, the John Deere 420.
Isn't it wonderful to actually drive your old cars! The old Fords T, A, and Flathead V8s are so reliable once put back into good condition. Our Summer here is short like yours, you gotta get out and "make hay while the Sun shines!"
As always, NOT the same old sh*t! You guys have a great time and it shows, but I know it’s also a lotta work putting it all together. Thanks!
Poor old little girl! Little Frankers said I would like to go with you Dad!😢🥲, I guess I will have to wait for you to come back home!😊
Some strong intimidation of the opposition there using your Model T as a tractor support vehicle!! ‘Look at me, I’m seriously vintage!!!’ Well done.
Another great video as always. I love that model T truck. That's just too cool 👌
You’re really making me miss going to tractor shows. Love seeing the J.I. Case tractors.
A great mixture of all sorts of interesting machines this week! I must agree, the parking lot looks so good. Thanks again Scott. Enyoyed it as usual.
Your video quality gets better and better. After watching your vids, and listening to your diatribes, I completely lost it and bought a 1935 Ford Phaeton, an older restoration. It had a seized engine, so I got a big discount. You guys and your engines convinced me I could unstick it. It had sat for 11 years in a warehouse. I rigged up an adapter that allowed me to connect an air hose to the cylinders. I hit a cylinder on a compression stroke with 150 psi and had a friend pull on the crank bolt with a breaker bar, and she popped loose. I had soaked her with a 50:50 mixture of Seafoam and Marvel Mystery oil. Kept the 6 volt system, but added a Stromberg distributor and a Pertronix "Flame Thrower" coil. Still won't start. Next is a carb rebuild and a gas tank clean out. Had 3 stuck valves and pulled one head and unstuck one valve, unstuck the other two without pulling the other head using a big Allen wrench. Then the fucking hurricane hit. Starting old cars is not for the faint of heart. By the way, I have two 1957 Stude Silver Hawks, and my money is on the Stude!
Hi Jim! That is great to hear! Hope you can get your lovely 1935 Ford going easily enough; what a fabulous car! Wow, 2 Hawks... Jealous! Haha cheers from here...
I have an old Allis WD45 and it's sits a lot but like good Ole tractors are , they are ready to work anytime you are. I love that
Wow. A vintage buffet! Thanks Scott. I like how you appreciate the magnificence of what could easily be passed off as just a mundane old cop car. Thank you.
Fantastic show. Nice that the Studebaker is fully restored in the process.
You are really embracing the Tractor Gnome thing....
Hey! Nice action there!
Thanks for this new part of the show, that is showing a ´64 Mercury in every episode! I´ve owned my ´64 Park Lane eternity project for 30 years this year. And never drove one meter on it.
It s that time of the week again!
Great video! I'l bet that editing this one was fun, since it gave you another look at these fun events. And congrats that the Stude doors now open & close. When you were hammering the exterior door handle, I was thinking that's something you could never do on 1 of those Forward Look era Mopars in the yard (unless you want to destroy a door handle). The Stude part way way tougher than those breakaway door handles.
Love the tractors! Always good to see Dean.
Very advent full episode. Lots to take in. Well done on the tractor drive and pull. Awesome paint and painting of the cop addition. Model T racing was a hoot. Sound was just incredible. What is just as amazing is the T shirt I just got in the mail today. Thanks Scott and agents.
Hey thanks for supporting the show, Gary... Glad you like the shirt... Can't wait to get mine... Cheers!
The Model T race is awesome - not exactly NASCAR rules, hey, wow. Much respect for Darry's dedication, and Eldon's painting. And the Model T scenes remind us of 1930 Hollywood movies. Imagine doing that with today's cars a 100 years from now 🙂
Great show this week Scott. Lot's of really good content. Love it!! 👌
Glad you enjoyed it!
Such a good time seeing you learn and have fun pulling the sled around. The old tractor is just such a happy thing. Another great episode packed with everything.
Nice job, Tractor Gnome! I live at antique engine and tractor shows during the summer. Lots of fun. It went by way too fast.I can imagine what all your cars must have been like when they were new. I always say I was born too late. Thanks for sharing the fun. That all was amazing. Cheers!
Thanks so much Heather! Glad you enjoyed this one like we did putting it together!
👍👌👏 to agent Justin for doing the parking lot/area so very well.
Awww frankers watching you drive away. Lots going on in this video. Love the old tractors. Wonder if a Hoyt-Clagwell will ever show up
Hi, Scott Congratulations on your tractor run. You were really happy on the second. I can't wait for the Ford vs Studbaker speed run! It's great to see the whole gang helping you out. The summer went too fast, but it was fun. Give my best wishes to everybody and be safe. Cheers!
I wasn't very serious about tractors a year and a half ago when I bought my first one. Since then I've accumulated 8 and possibly a 9th later this coming week. Also have 8 or 10 Maytag washing machine engines and roughly 100 vintage Briggs and Stratton,Reo,Lausen and Johnson Iron Horse engines ranging in years starting in the 1920s to the early 70s. I've gotten quite a few of those up and running. Currently working on a few more. Just got a nice original 1949 Reo 552 A engine cleaned up and running and in the process of restoring another.
Definitely looks like it was fun time between the tractor show and the Model T race day! Cheers!
Always good to see a car drive out from the zombie row.
Thanks for all the great footage this week!
Hey thanks for checking it out!
