Her new album is so, so good! Really enjoying it. Her voice is so raspy and breathy that I know it’s an acquired taste, but I find it so lovely and soothing, I’d love to see her build a stranger music fan base.
"Your wildest dreams are gonna come true and you're not even gonna be happy about them" why is it true though?! 😢 When I saw the thumbnail, I knew this was going to be a fun watch! Maya Hawke is such a treat to listen to because she always has funny and insightful stories/perspective about life, art, etc. I love the part where she would like to talk to her younger self about what her body looks vs. what it can do because that's the realization I'm having now in my 30s. I don't know Maya personally, but she just seems so sure of herself with the way she answers questions and how she is always grateful for the opportunities that come her way and doesn't reject but embrace the way she grew up and how she has learned so much from it (dare I say it because this word is getting overused as of late), the whole nepotism factor of it all).
